Right at Home Reigate & Crawley

We were extremely lucky as a family to have Right at Home caring for Dad it gave him 'joie de vivre' up until the end of his life at age 93. Thank you to everyone from the carers, office personnel, and management. I highly recommend Right at Home Reigate and Crawley.

Right at Home provided support for my mum right up to the very end. We were very lucky to have such a lovely team of carers coming to care for her on the days where I needed to be at work. They never let us down and always gave her their warmest attention. I know Mum would say the same.

When my Dad had a stroke I was suddenly in a position of needing to find care to look after him at home. Right at Home replied immediately and set up a visit to my father and a risk assessment visit to his home very quickly. He needed a rather complicated package of care and this kept varying over the next few weeks but Right at Home took on the stress of finding carers at short notice and were very flexible. All the carers were lovely people who did their very best with my Dad but unfortunately, through no fault of theirs, it became obvious to all that care at home was not going to work. I feel that the company and the family did the very best they could but some problems are just insurmountable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Without exception, all the staff that cared for my dad were kind, and compassionate and treated him with the utmost care and dignity. We received 5-star care and service and I would have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone looking for care at home.

Always friendly, professional and contactable at the office, and not sure what I would have done if the team hadn't been so helpful when Mum was diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's last year. They were all brilliant! The live-in carers have, I feel, been specially chosen to suit Mum and her needs, and I know she is well looked after by the live-in, and also the other caring team who go in to cover her breaks. I have no hesitation in recommending Right at Home for all care needs.

Everybody my mother and I came into contact with was very caring and professional. When we had unforeseen difficulties the response from the office and carers was immediate and reassuring. The attention to cleanliness and punctuality was excellent.

The live-in carer provides exceptionally good service for dementia care and post-hospital recovery support. Extremely friendly and professional and backed up by very efficient support from the from the office.

Right at Home Reigate & Crawley provided care for my elderly mum from August to March this year. All the carers were excellent and although mum called them helpers, she didn’t want to accept she needed care, she loved seeing them all and looked forward to their daily visits. In February this year I was also unwell and mum began to need people around her all the time, so she moved into a care home. Everyone in the office was so helpful, understanding and accommodating making sure mum had care until the day she moved. Thank you for all your help and kindness I will recommend your service to anyone needing at home care.

I was directed to this company. They came to see me and my wife to discuss our needs. As those needs have increased, they have listened to my concerns, guided me through the process of increasing care made recommendations. We have had a handful of carers, all of whom have been lovely. It is obviously stressful letting new people into your home to provide personal care. The process has been easy, the carers are excellent and head office, receptive. I am delighted to have used this company and would recommend them.

Although we were only able to benefit from this home care provider for a short time, we cannot say enough about the excellent service they provided at a very challenging time in our family’s life. Our mother was near the end of her life and seriously ill and could not be left alone for any period of time though she could not recognize this need, so was rather difficult to look after. However, from the very first meeting and evaluation, the business manager took the time to reassure us that they were skilled in handling all types of clients. We were able to develop a plan of care that fit our needs perfectly both with the carers and with the schedule. The carers could not have been more attentive and gentle in spite of the difficult circumstances and were with our mother to the end with their tender care. We would highly recommend this company to take the greatest of care of your loved one.

Right at home provided live-in care for our mother for a number of years and our overall experience has been extremely positive. They gave us peace of mind knowing that our mother was able to continue enjoying living safely in her own home for as long as possible.

Right at Home, Reigate & Crawley have provided care once a day, for my elderly mother, since May this year. All the carers have been excellent and my mum has come to think of them as friends. They were extremely kind and compassionate, doing everything that was needed in a timely manner. Thank you, to you all.

The carers have been very supportive with my mother right up to her dying day. We had two other agencies before Right at Home but find this one's the best for mum. The carers took their time with mum and kept her happy by singing and chatting. If it wasn't for them I don't think mum would have lived up to 94 as I also needed that much help, which I got, and I also learnt a lot about caring that I never knew before. So thanks to all at Right at Home Reigate and Crawley.

Although we only used the services of Right at Home for a few months we found the improvement in the care and attitude of the agency amazing. The needs of the patient (my husband) were met with much more understanding and kindness than given to him by the previous agency we had used. I would stress that most of the fault lay in their (the previous agency's) office administration and not always in the carers they employed. Policy matters and we found all members of staff at Right at Home courteous.

The young lady who comes to me is very kind and skilled in caring for me! She uses her initiative. She also makes sure that I have taken my tablets (my memory is poor). She passes my doctors when coming to me and collects the tablets for me. She checks my fridge to make sure that there is no out of date food in there! I could not have a nicer, kinder young lady!

I have had the same carer for the past two years. His timekeeping is first class. In this time I had no reason for complaint. He anticipates the user's needs extremely well. He has a cheerful disposition and is a pleasure to know. A first-class carer capable of filling a supervising role. I wish him well.

It is very reassuring to know that we have this care plan in place as things are generally getting more difficult for mum as time goes by.

My father has complex needs and advanced dementia. He requires more than a task-based pop in from a stranger. I tried 4 other agencies and none of them could help me but then I spoke to the team at Right at Home and they understood what we needed and recruited the right carers to suit my dad’s needs. They really went the extra mile and I am grateful.
