I contacted Right At Home in July 2020 as I needed help for my wife who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s over ten years ago. The carers have been excellent and fully appreciate and understand my wife’s needs. Nothing is too much trouble for them and it is extremely pleasing to see my wife relaxed in the
carer’s company. Administratively the company have been very efficient, paperwork has been very clear and we have been kept extremely well advised of all developments for the company caused by the virus epidemic. I have no hesitation in recommending the company to others who need caring support for their loved ones.

I felt very well supported. The staff were always on time, and I was always notified about any changes. Their advice was excellent in helping to keep my husband comfortable. His dementia made him a difficult patient, and they never complained always assuring me.

When things became too much for mum caring for my 93-year-old father we found Right at Home and from the very beginning were impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They were incredibly flexible, reacting very quickly to fast-changing circumstances and altering rota's so the
appropriate level of care was provided at all times.
The carers were always punctual, professional, kind and above all caring. They became friends to both mum and dad. Dad had a stay in hospital during this time and when he returned home he had less mobility and more physical needs. It was a difficult time but the carers came back and took all the stress away. Dad passed away in August at home, as was his wish, but this could not have been achieved without the support of Right at Home.
Many of the carers subsequently visited my mother to express their sympathies and offer her their friendship. We were all very touched and feel incredibly lucky to have found Right at Home.

My Wife has complex Physical and Mental Health, and I have spent 18 years trying to find a care company that actually sees those they care for as more than just clients. I could write a book of the horror stories of care companies and the carers over the years that I have had to put up with. I have
lost jobs (yes there are times I've had to step in and put the wifes care before my work) and drove myself to the point of exhaustion trying to make up for poor care, appalling medication management etc with a long list of the other care companies in the Surrey area.


This all changed when we found Right at Home, for the first time I managed to have a week of rest two weeks ago with no worries. Just some time for me to have some of my own time and also have some quality time with the wife.


Right at Home genuinely cares, and their carers have the training (which most pay lip service to) and understanding (most just stood and did nothing when my wife had mental health issues) I have looked for.

I have needed care for 18 years due to physical and mental health illness. The main idea of care, in my own opinion, is so that relatives have a complete break when carers are with clients. Unfortunately, over the 18 years, this has not been the case. My husband was still doing major parts of my
care to make sure I remained safe. This has taken its toll on him to the point it affected his work. Then I decided one last time to change care company hoping that I find the one to meet all my physical and mental health needs, also my husband not having to do any care when carers are here. On the first day, I was so impressed as the carers came in and just got straight into working without asking me continual questions. Apart from my physical needs being met, my mental health illness has been much more stable. They will help in every way even for my husband who is finally able to get a complete break. I am very glad to say this is the last company I need as all needs are being met. My search is over!

Having suffered a stroke but made good progress to recovery, Mum needed to be back in her own home. I couldn't be there every day for her and enlisted Right at Home to support her. They have been absolutely invaluable in helping Mum back to independent living. It was very quick and easy to get things
in place - communication and response are very good. Every effort was made to find carers who were well suited to Mum, as she required companionship as well as care.
The management is easy to talk to and very helpful, and quickly sort out any little things to make the visits as beneficial as possible.
The carers themselves have been capable, helpful and sensitive to Mum's needs. They arrive on time and leave on time (barring emergencies, which are communicated ahead) and have been very reliable.
Payment is easy to set up, invoices accurate, and there is someone at the end of the phone if you need them.
I am extremely pleased with Right at Home and would not hesitate to recommend.

It became obvious to us at the beginning of the Christmas period that my Mother in Law was not coping at home.
We received a very quick and informative response to our enquiry and care was in place very quickly. This helped us so much, as we live 30 miles away and couldn't pop in that regularly. The
caregivers were all that you hope they would be - kind, caring, compassionate, adaptable and professional.
We were contacted by the office with any concerns and helpful suggestions were given, or they were able to organise the solution. Payment for the service was very straight forward and clear.
This service was invaluable to us and I would not hesitate to recommend Right at Home.

My parents are both in their late eighties and my father has been cared for by Right at home for approximately two years now. As a family, we have always found the agency to be responsive to his needs, and flexible in their approach. Last September, my mother broke her hip, and I can honestly say we
would not have coped without them. Mum has now recovered, but dad's needs continue as he is unable to care for himself, and has a diagnosis of dementia. We have the same carer for most of the time, and this consistent approach is very helpful, especially for dad, as he knows her and allows her to help him. Dads carer is a wonderful person, and I'm sorry I'm not allowed to mention her by name. She is kind and caring and totally trustworthy. She is also very cheerful and I know my mum looks forward to her visits. As a family this has taken so much pressure off us, knowing that our parents are safe and secure. I would also like to add that any administration needed is easy to do.

I first contacted Right at Home Reigate & Crawley to ask for a carer to come to my parents' home twice a day in order to assist with washing, dressing etc. The staff in Right at Home Head Office were kind and efficient, and (unlike other agencies I had approached) were able to provide the service literally
within days. Sadly my mother was admitted to hospital the day before the carers were due to start, and subsequently died. As she was the carer for my father, who has dementia and is registered blind, our needs changed dramatically. Again within days, Right at Home adapted to the new situation and provided a live-in carer. The live-in carer has proved to be competent, hard-working, honest, flexible, patient and compassionate, and so too were the daily carers Right at Home provided before she joined our family. I recommend Right at Home Reigate & Crawley without any hesitation or reservation.

Right at Home provided outstanding care and support to my mother during a very difficult period of her life. They were kind, caring and compassionate at all times. My mother enjoyed the company of her visiting carers who provided valuable companionship as well as care. They were knowledgeable about
dementia and supported my mother's extensive medication needs, including the requirement for oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation. They were always willing to be flexible and adapt to a variety of circumstances, even when unexpected. Nothing was too much trouble. My mother was always at the heart of their attention. They took plenty of time to listen and consider matters and were always willing to look at alternative options and solutions and act quickly. I would thoroughly recommend Right at Home.

I feel so fortunate to have found Right at Home, who have provided wonderful 24/7 care for my Father.

Your care for my 95-year-old mother has been exemplary. The carer is always cheerful, responsive, professional and of course punctual. She gives of herself and has helped Mum’s confidence and lifted her mood. The management team are superbly organised and adaptive. This is a first-class organisation.

Right at Home have been attending my 90-year-old dad for 8 months, and the carers are responsive to his requirements and any changes he may have in his health care and support at home.
The carers and managers are communitive, responding promptly to anything I have to inform them of (i.e.any need to
get dad ready by a certain time for medical appointments, acknowledging changes in his condition and any adjustments to his requirements). Likewise, they keep me informed of any shopping he needs or replenishment of medication or supplies that I may have overlooked.
All of the staff I have met, or spoken to by telephone or email, have been just as I would expect – very personable and Caring (with a capital “C”). In my experience Right at Home really does take its profession seriously and am very pleased with them.

In my 16 years of experience as a physio much of which was dedicated to community geriatric rehab, I have learned that effective and wholesome Care provision needs a fine balance of the right attitude, attention and time.


This serves as a foundation for other supported programmes such as Rehab to yield positive benefits in enabling confident and independent living. I have seen several cases where a lack of proper care, time and empathy has left many clients disappointed. Discovering this wide gap between concept and reality was a primary motivation for me to search and create a platform where we could provide meaningful care in combination with tailored rehab which would truly make a difference to someone’s everyday life.


At Right at Home Reigate & Crawley, I have the opportunity to realise this desire to provide high-quality and excellent care. Our comprehensive approach to care, companionship and rehab would assist clients and their families to live an improved quality of life. I have built a team of people who share these beliefs and values – where each client is special, no client’s need is too big, where the client’s personal satisfaction comes first, where going the extra mile …. comes naturally, where providing care with compassion is a way of life!
