My dad recently changed to First4homecare after a poor experience with a previous provider and the difference in care is astonishing! All the carers are so kind, caring and professional and dad looks forward to his visits. We know the week before what time the calls will be and the name of the carer
which has been really helpful and reassuring for dad, lots of little extra tasks are done if there's time which has made it possible for me to spend more time with dad on my visits. I cannot recommend them highly enough, the communication from the office has been fantastic from the start and the switchover process was flawless. Thank you to all the staff for their amazing work it is really appreciated by us all.

Since October 2024 staff from First4Homecare have been really good, on initial contact established Mum's requirements & provided at short notice support for Mum's daily care.
The Team of the core staff get on well with Mum who looks forward to seeing them each day. The ladies are very caring & professional.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The team of carers do a great job and are always very accommodating to Mum's needs. The appointments are always attended as scheduled and never missed. It's enabled mum to carry on living in her own home which is important to her and also a comfort to me and my sister knowing she's being well cared
for. Our dad (who was also a First4Homecare client) passed away in May 2024 and the carers provided further care, understanding and support to us all at the time when greatly needed. If ever asked I would recommend First4Homecare.

What a fantastic bunch of carers, I needed someone to look after my dad at short notice and rang the Manager, she went out of her way to help us at a really difficult time, not only that they gave us confidence when talking and meeting the staff that we were in good hands and kept me informed of everything
was happening. I can't recommend them enough.

My sister and I are extremely grateful to First4Homecare for helping our aunt with various household and personal care tasks, as we live over 80 miles away and couldn't make very regular visits. My aunt was very fond of one of the carers in particular and was grateful to have someone to chat with and
assistance with tasks that she was finding increasingly difficult. Sadly my aunt passed away in July, and First4Homecare provided fantastic support on that difficult day.

The care received was second to none, especially from her key worker who went over and beyond to ensure my daughter was comfortable and happy. Always smiling and built a great relationship with my daughter so I knew she was in safe hands and looked forward to her visits. I know she will miss her now
that she is getting stronger and more independent.

For over four years now, First4Homecare has been coming in every morning to assist my mother with her personal care. Always give notice if times need to change, which is helpful, as Mum always makes sure she is ready.
The morning visits take the pressure off me. I am confident she is being well cared
for, for which I am grateful. Excellent service.

The team have been involved with my parents for a number of years now.
This last year they have continued to provide a high standard of care and support under some difficult and ongoing circumstances.
As a family, we rely on them completely to work with us in partnership to support our parents with
kindness, dignity, respect and safety, as their needs change.
They know my parents well and bring conversations and fun too, much-needed social aspects of the care offered.
From the care team to supervising and managing, we receive the full package and appreciate it.

We have been using the services of First4Homecare for around 2 and a half years now and have nothing but praise for them. When I asked my mother her views she said 'I truly think they are brilliant. The carers are all absolutely lovely and I think that the manager equally looks after the carers and
the people they care for.' Little extra touches on special occasions are very much appreciated and really make us feel that the service users are genuinely important to them. Knowing that the carers will be visiting with a smile and a chat gives my brothers and I huge reassurance and Mum looks forward to their visits. I can't thank them enough.

The ladies of the Care Provider are kind and caring and friendly and treat my father very well. They are also very professional and help with tidying up and preparing snacks and drinks which is very much appreciated.

Great service from First4Homecare and really helped out at the last minute with care for my mum when she had a number of falls. The care manager and all the care team are really good and my mum has built a great relationship with all of her carers.

All the carers are very good and supportive. Also, take me out and to the hospital dentist etc. Couldn't fault them.
Would highly recommend it.
Give tips on how to do things differently and make them better. Nothing is too much trouble.

I would like to express my sincere thanks for the excellent service and professionalism that my husband has received over the last two years!
The staff always went above and beyond, he would always look forward to the different girls coming on certain days as it would just make his day. They would
all make a point of interacting with him on certain topics which was really good as he wasn’t one for going. My husband will miss all the girls immensely.

I first got involved with First4Homecare Ltd in 2017 when they started to help with the care of my eldest sister, who suffered from Alzheimer's. They were extremely good at helping with her personal needs, and I could see that my sister valued them. In December 2021, my sister went to live in a care
home, where she subsequently died in July 2022. My sister's husband also started to receive care from First4Homecare Ltd during the latter part of 2022, and I have nothing but praise for the way they now look after my brother-in-law. I also appreciate the fact that they keep me well-informed on a need-to-know basis.

I get excellent care from all the staff, who arrive on time usually, more or less, but I also expect them to arrive on the minute. My one grumble (a minor one) is that the appointments are frequently at the same time as my (and my son's) tea time - as he comes home at 5.30 pm and may be going out at
7.00 pm. I time the meal for 6.30 pm. On the whole though I would not want to shower later in the evening.

The team initially cared for my mum after her discharge from hospital a couple of years ago and her subsequent sudden loss of mobility. They provided a great service helping dad who was too weak to be handling mum; her personal care was provided in a very kind and understanding way while also managing
to 'have fun' with them both - neither have lost their sense of humour! With gentle help, mum got more confident and we eventually dispensed with the need for the team to be involved. Then dad got rushed to hospital in October last year (2022) and we didn't hesitate to contact the team again to help out. They really are great and certainly give me peace of mind, knowing that someone is calling in regardless of what duties they perform. I also appreciate the flexibility in terms of changes to requirements as they happen.

I would highly recommend First4Homecare. The staff are excellent competent, professional, friendly, kind and reliable. Without them, Mum would be unable to live on her own at home. They have been able to adapt their approach and level of care as mums' needs have changed. Mum is happy and feels well-supported

After an illness, we had to change the way my mother-in-law was cared for. First, 4Homecare was quick to put the care in place we needed. Since the start of January, the care plan has been revised three times but she has never been without care. Thanks to the team she is able to stay in her home. As
her son has his own health issues to deal with knowing she is being cared for is a weight off his mind, especially now as we have been told about the open pass app. We cannot thank First4Homecare enough for everything they do and the peace of mind they give the family.

My mother has received care visits from First4Homecare twice a day for the last year. The service is well organised and reliable, so there has never been an occasion when a visit has been missed. The carers are kind and patient with her, and very caring. The admin and finance systems are excellent,
so I am always able to obtain current information on my mother's wellbeing, and I've had no problems with billing/payments. An excellent service.

Fiona’s career within the healthcare industry has spanned over 30 years. Having previously worked in clinical practice as a Nurse and spent time in healthcare marketing, sales and training, Fiona went on to work for blue-chip medical device companies where she was instrumental in the development and delivery of clinical training programmes. Utilising her knowledge and experience, Fiona then went on to run her own company, providing healthcare training and consultancy and working with care professionals to provide both mandatory and specialist training. Fiona now takes the role as both Director and Registered Care Manager of Heritage Healthcare Gloucester.
