Dad has dementia and as I live at the other end of the country finding the best help and support for Dad was a must. Handing care of a loved one over is never easy and I was both nervous and sceptical, but I struck gold!
Ambercare provides not only fabulous care but unwavering support to the family with nothing too much trouble. I know if there are any concerns they call. Likewise, I can call and always count on them to help with ad hoc needs or requests from sorting his TV out to buying a birthday card for his neighbour, a quick, friendly phone call to the team always results in a friendly, good-humoured response & quick result. Most importantly the staff are kind, respectful, caring and fun and I trust them implicitly.
In a call last week out of the blue he said: "You know what? I'm really happy, I've got a good life, everyone's so kind and helpful I'm a very lucky man."
