This was our first time using a 24-hour carer. My husband has Dementia and I was not sure how he would take to a stranger dealing with him. On my return, I found him quite relaxed and settled. All had gone smoothly and everything was clean and tidy. I would have no worries leaving him in Beryl Care

I have been very pleased with the care on offer. The care worker is well-qualified and has experience dealing with elderly dementia patients. Nothing was too much trouble. Difficult issues were handled firmly but with kindness. No problems.

Very pleased with the live in care provided to my wife by Care Services following my short period in hospital. The carer was very professional, dedicated and passion-driven. She also integrated seamlessly into our household and provided the support to my wife which I was unable to provide. My wife liked
her company.

We cannot recommend Beryl Care Services enough. They looked after my mum-in-law while Dad-in-law was in hospital. My mum-in-law was very reluctant to have a carer but quickly became very fond of her. Mum=in-law has not looked so well in a long time, the care she received went above and beyond.
She
was always treated with kindness and respect, also caring for Dad-in-law when he came home. We will be forever grateful for the exemplary way Mum=in-law was looked after and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Changeover was smooth and everything feels normal. The carer that came to relieve blended well, you would expect to feel a change in procedure but he fit into the daily routine as if he had always been there, chatty and bubbly chap he is. The service offered is reassuring and comfortable as I feel my
wife is well taken care of.

Highly recommend using Beryl Care Services. At short notice, my dad was taken into hospital and we needed someone to come and live with my mum as she has Parkinson's and needs help all day long. Within a few hours of my phone call, we had a plan set up and a carer on the way to help with my mum's daily
life. Within a very short time my mum was settled and cooking a cake in the kitchen so with that I wasn't worried at all about what and how my mum was going to cope at home without Dad. The two weeks went by extremely fast and we are so happy we booked up for my dad's operation with the same carer as she is (5 stars) so if you read this review I hope you have or will have the same experience as me as I did. Definitely using Beryl Care again and will recommend them to anyone as knowing with a few hours your loved ones are looked after is worth it.

The carer came in as emergency care for my mum whilst my dad was in hospital. The 24/7 care provided for 3 weeks was exceptional. The carer was kind, caring and professional. The improvement in both my mum's physical and mental health was amazing. The carer and care manager were always communicating
with the family giving us great comfort and reassurance that Mum was safe and extremely well looked after. This carried on when Dad came out of hospital. The care, respect and dignity shown towards my parents was exemplary. Especially as this was their first experience of intimate care. Our only wish would be that could have continued on longer.

The carers at Beryl Care Services have transformed our lives.
They care for my Dad very well and always treat him with respect and cater for his needs.
We have been lucky to have them to care for my dad and I would recommend them without hesitation.
They have been warm, caring and welcoming to
our whole family and have given us many precious memories with my dad.

Beryl Care has been providing care for my elderly mother for over a year now. Originally this was day care but for the past few months, it is live-in 24-hour care. All the carers are excellent with my mother, who has increasingly severe Alzheimer's, and are sensitive to the needs of my step-father,
who also suffers from dementia.
The management of the carers is very good too, with cover being provided for the carer when needed to give them breaks and support given where necessary. They have coped well with some demanding situations and I have every confidence in the agency. I am kept informed of any developments and feel able to talk to them whenever I need to.
I would thoroughly recommend Beryl Care to anyone looking for well-trained, reliable care.

Beryl provided care for my wife aged 83, who has advanced Alzheimer's and is disabled by osteoarthritis, when I was hospitalised after an accident. They continued to provide excellent live-in 24/7 care for four weeks after the my accident, whilst I recovered. The quality of care was outstanding and
the carer was very capable, helpful and friendly - I cannot speak too highly of her ability and attitude to what is a very demanding level of care. I will not hesitate to use Beryl Care and that particular carer again, if she is available. On the second occasion I used this provider, I took a short break away from home. My wife needs 24/7 care. At my request, the same carer was provided and she again gave outstandingly excellent care. My break was unfortunately cut short due to problems with my car but Beryl Care immediately understood and cut short, at my request, the period involved. Excellent care and provider.

I will never be able to put into words the incredible care and support that I received during a very traumatic time in my life. My elderly father was taken ill very suddenly and my mother with dementia needed immediate care support. A wonderful carer arrived at very short notice and ended up staying
with my mother for over five weeks. She could not have been more suited and was a gentle and calming presence for my lovely mum. The manager was in regular contact with me and I feel that the whole company genuinely care about the service they provide. Sadly, my father passed away and due to the fact that they only lived in a one-bedroom flat, my mum has now gone into a care home. Had their home been bigger then I would have seriously considered using Beryl Care Services and having a full-time live-in carer.
Saying goodbye to our lovely carer was actually really emotional as she became part of the family and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for all that she did for my mum.

One carer, in particular, was wonderful, we wished that she could be our mother's full-time carer all the time. This carer deserves all the accolade that is worthy of the care she gave our mother during the short time she carried out her job. We are very grateful for her, she made our family time away
stress-free, we were confident in her abilities and her high level of care.

We have found Beryl Care to be a very very good provider of home care. From the first day, care was provided through the past 2 months. They have been brilliant. The quality of the carers has been great and has enabled my parents to remain together in their home.

The 24hr live-in care provided for my mother, who suffers from dementia and Alzheimer's, has been exemplary. The patience and gentle professionalism of the carers has improved my mother's well-being enormously. Challenging behaviour is expertly handled with friendly gentleness. The carers expertise
has greatly helped both the patient and the extended family. I cannot praise the carers enough. The Beryl management have proved to be accessible, diligent and responsive to any requests or queries.

Beryl Care was able to come as a live-in carer for my father at very short notice. The care he received from one carer over the course of the next three and a half weeks was excellent. The carer was able to help with everything from personal hygiene to shopping and cooking. He would take my father out
in the wheelchair to get fresh air, and the apartment was kept spotless. This meant that we were able to recharge our batteries, and we felt confident that my father was well cared for. The manager was also extremely helpful and caring and was able to ensure that her team were covering when the main carer needed his well-earned time off. We would definitely recommend Beryl Care to anyone who requires this type of help; they have been a blessing to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your help and care, especially the main carer, whom we all become very fond of, including my dad, for his calmness, kindness and patience.

Beryl Care cared for my mother-in-law from April 21 to July 21 during a rapidly changing time for her both in terms of mental capacity and physical capability. The care received was excellent, and the whole team so very caring and dedicated. The manager in particular often went above and beyond, such
as coming out to assist a live-in carer in the middle of the night. We started with 5 hours of daily care which quickly progressed to live-in care as her condition was declining so fast. Her care from all was great but she formed a very close bond particularly with the daily carer who she loved and looked forward to her visits. The carer did some small things but that made her feel made special - dressing her in pretty scarves, doing her hair and finding nice scents for her to wear. The carer still remains in touch with the family and attended my mother-in-law's funeral, which we were all very touched by.

Cannot thank the manager enough, from my very first call on Easter weekend she was able to provide help for my mother, in particular, I would like to mention two people who went above and beyond in looking after her. Other people were also involved in her care and all were empathetic caring individuals
who treated my mother with the utmost dignity. Thank you.

The care and attention my Mum received was exemplary. Our carer from Beryl Care Services was kind and considerate with empathy, but never patronising. They made suggestions to help and improve my mum's condition and involved themselves in other tasks to help our family, that were not in their remit.
An absolute pleasure and Mum was kept well and healthy throughout the Services of Beryl Care. Thank you!

I would like to highly recommend this agency which was accessed via the Princess Royal Trust for emergency care of a dementia sufferer whose carer had been admitted to hospital. A carer was sent out as an emergency and arrived at 9.45 pm having only been called early evening. The 48 hour care given
was excellent, she was caring, hard-working and exceeded all our expectations. Thank you so much.
