For my part, I know that Kare Plus will contact me if they are concerned about anything at all during a visit.
I'm sent a weekly timesheet, and I'm warned in advance of any changes that may need to happen to the visit times.
Kare Plus are helping me, to help my parents, to remain as independent as possible. Thank you!
Thank you for such a fantastic review, this will be passed straight onto the carers on the ground.
The person Kare Plus sent to us was young and it was her first job. And I think she was way over her head whilst dealing with a dementia patient. And she made a simple mistake which showed she had little to no idea of how deal with a dementia patient.
Hi there, we are sorry to hear you've not been happy with the service currently, we will make contact with you to discuss this further and get things fully resolved.
There is nothing more I could have wanted than that level of care.
We really appreciate this wonderful review, our carer will be shown this straight away, thank you.
My parents had managed to live independently in their own home until their mid to late 90s, but by Autumn 2022 it became apparent they were in need of additional care and support. We cannot speak highly enough of Kare Plus, from the initial visit to assess their needs, to the provision of carers to support them on a daily basis, the office staff in the management of rotas and quickly allocating additional visits when needed, to the communication and billing process. From being fiercely independent, my parents soon came to trust their carers to deal with their needs, including personal care. The carers were so friendly, considerate and respectful, and it was really great to have the same staff visiting on a regular basis, enabling my parents to build a relationship with them. Thank you to everyone at Kare Plus for enabling my parents to stay in their own home for as long as possible. It really was a 5-star service.
Thank you for these wonderful words, we will pass this onto our team of carers straight away.
The people who have come to help my partner and me have been helpful, willing to do a variety of jobs, both inside and outside the house, it has been a pleasure to have them here, but there have been several instances when I have been waiting for them to come and I have been let down. There could have been better communication from the office staff.
Thank you for reviewing our services and kind words. We will be sure to take on board your comments as well on the communication concerns with the office.
All the staff at Kare Plus Ashford, have been friendly and helpful. My mother-in-law needed help in the mornings with washing, dressing and being made breakfast and a cuppa of tea. The care staff did this with a smile, also helping with anything else she needed, including finding time to sit and have a chat. My mother-in-law really looked forward to her morning visits. The office staff have also been extremely helpful, easy to talk to and friendly. Kare Plus gave us an excellent service and I can't rate them high enough. Thank you.
Thank you for the wonderful words, we will pass this onto our carers.
Kare Plus, you have some angels working for you.
Thank you for the wonderful words, we will pass this onto our carers.
Fantastic service, reliable and very caring.
Would definitely recommend.
Thank you for your very kind words. The ladies do enjoy visiting your mum. We look forward to continuing support with her.
Above all, the staff we have dealt with are professional and treat my mum with care and dignity. Not making her feel she is just someone to be sorted and off to the next. They have also helped to support me in the admin side of care provision and are approachable when I have needed help.
I recommend Kare Plus for its excellent service and team.
Thank you very much for your kind words. It is a pleasure working with you to ensure your mum is well taken care of.
All the carers are on time mostly, very efficient and caring. Very good personality with similar sense of humour to myself which makes the visits quite pleasant. They are smartly turned out with their Kare Plus uniforms wearing all required protection. They never leave without checking that I have everything to hand that I need and is there anything else I need. All in all a very good team.
Thank you for your very kind words. We will be sure to pass this over to the team that supports you.
Absolutely wonderful service. From the office and admin processes to the carers themselves. Professional, caring, considerate, empathetic and passionate. We received nothing but the best from all the Kare Plus team.
Thank you for your very kind words, we will be sure to pass this along to the staff team involved.
The ladies from Kare Plus have been brilliant. They are always courteous and professional but also good fun. We were very reluctant to accept the need for carers as we are very independent but now can’t imagine how we managed without them. They have made a huge difference to the whole family.
Thank you.
The office and finance team are very efficient, friendly and welcoming on the phone.
Overall we are very satisfied.
Thank you very much for your kind words, this feedback is essential for us.
The Kare Plus Team
Carers are very understanding of their client's needs. They are polite, well presented and easy to talk to.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass this over to the team.
Kare Plus Ashford is an outstanding care provider, especially when they are able to supply specific members of staff whom we prefer. Some care staff are difficult to relate to, but the majority are excellent. Management is caring and friendly. Finance are very efficient.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass this over to the team.
Mum's treatment and visits of staff is excellent. Mum looks forward to her weekly visits.
Thank you for your kind comments. It's a pleasure to be able to assist your mum with her care needs.
We changed from our last carers as they would turn up 12:45pm to get my mother out of bed and give her breakfast, having been booked for 10:30 am. Kare Plus, booked for 10:30 am, come 10:30 am and are very professional and caring. They treat my mother as a human and person, with respect. Has made such a difference. I would recommend Kare Plus to everyone - at last an organisation that actually cares for the elderly and befuddled. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your very kind words. We will pass this over to our team.
I have had the same carer for the past 6 months and I am completed satisfied with all aspects of her work.
Thank you for your kind words. We will pass this over to the staff member.
The food is quite often excellent and they introduce me to new dishes from the supermarket. They are very friendly, have sunny natures and great senses of humour so we can laugh and joke about things. They help me enormously to get my benefits paid so I am sitting pretty at the moment, except I may have to reduce my smoking!
Thank you for your very kind review. The ladies enjoy visiting and providing the support you require.
Good work!
Thank you for your very kind review. The ladies enjoy visiting and being able to assist.

Meet the Team (8)
Founded in 2016
From Humble Beginnings to Leading With Purpose
I began this journey in 2016 with a simple vision: to raise the bar in care. Alongside my Recruitment Manager at the time, Matt Stacey, we started as a team of two. Today, that vision has grown into a thriving family of over 160 dedicated professionals — including 60+ care staff and a passionate office team — supporting over 100 clients and settings across Kent.
Rooted in Kent, Driven by Values
Now proudly operating as Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd, we’ve become more than just a care provider — we're a trusted part of the community in Ashford, Folkestone, and surrounding areas. With over 100 glowing reviews on Homecare.co.uk, we’ve consistently been recognised as one of the region’s highest-rated providers, and we continue to build on that reputation every day.
Professional Standards, Personal Commitment
This business has always been personal. Providing great care isn’t just what we do — it’s who we are. Every service we deliver is grounded in our core values of respect, dignity, and compassion. Ultima Care is not just a company name; it’s a promise to every person and family we support.
Thank you for being part of the journey so far — we’re only just getting started.
Shaping Care. Driving Standards. Leading Growth.
I joined the team in 2019 as Recruitment Manager and quickly evolved my role by qualifying as a trainer and launching my own care training business — which I later brought into the company to strengthen in-house development. Since then, I've progressed into the role of Chief Operating Officer and Registered Manager, helping lead the business through a period of rapid growth and transformation.
Having completed my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, my focus today is firmly on operational excellence, workforce development, and preparing Ultima Care for its next chapter — including the expansion into complex care and clinical services.
I’m deeply committed to raising standards across every area of the business, ensuring our care is not only compliant, but compassionate, consistent, and driven by values.
Outside of work, I enjoy quality time with my family, long walks, and staying active through my passion for rugby.
Precision. People. Purpose.
I joined the team in 2017 and have grown with the business ever since. Over the years, I’ve supported everything from bookings to client account management, with a strong focus on delivering person-centred, efficient financial support across all the services we provide.
Now proudly serving as Chief Financial Officer at Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd, I work closely with our Director on the day-to-day financial operations, long-term planning, and sustainability of the business. My background in the insurance industry — where I spent 16 years specialising in subsidence claims as a Recovery Claims Consultant — has given me a meticulous eye for detail and a strong foundation in complex case management.
After relocating from London to Folkestone in 2015, I discovered a rewarding new path in the care sector and have never looked back.
Outside of work, I love socialising with friends and spending quality time with my family — with regular trips back to London to catch up with loved ones.
40+ Years of Compassion, Leadership & Dedication in Care
With over four decades of experience in health and social care, I’ve dedicated my life to supporting others. My journey has included roles as a Dental Nurse, Carer in both residential and nursing homes, and most notably, 14 years as the Manager of a specialist Dementia Unit.
I hold an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, and throughout my career, I’ve taken a hands-on, people-first approach — something I now bring to my role as Patient Services Lead at Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd. Whether it’s supporting clients, families, or our care team, I believe that delivering outstanding care starts with genuine human connection.
I’m proud to be part of a business that truly puts care and community at its core.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum of four and grandmother of six. I love cooking, reading, and spending time with my family — and I never miss a Spurs match!
Finding the Right People, For the Right Kind of Care
I’ve worked in the care industry for many years, primarily within dementia care homes — a role that brought both challenge and deep reward. As a Healthcare Assistant working under qualified nursing staff, I developed a strong foundation in hands-on care and person-centred support.
In 2019, I transitioned into recruitment and joined what is now Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd. My role covers end-to-end recruitment, compliance, and onboarding — from writing job descriptions and adverts to interviewing, selecting, and welcoming skilled carers into our growing team. I take pride in maintaining close relationships with both new and long-standing care staff, ensuring they feel valued and supported from day one.
I also completed formal recruitment consultant training and became a certified Physical Intervention Trainer in 2019, allowing me to deliver key training sessions to both homecare and agency staff.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to two wonderful children aged 17 and 12, and we share our home with a lovable little pug who keeps us smiling. I’m very much a people person — I love family time, discovering beautiful places, and meeting new faces wherever I go.
Delivering Care with Heart Since 2018
I joined Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd (formerly Kare Plus) in April 2018, shortly after raising my fifth daughter, who was just two and a half at the time. Before entering the care sector, I trained in beauty therapy and ran my own mobile beauty business — but it was the opportunity to care for others that truly sparked a new and lasting passion.
Since then, I’ve never looked back. I love what I do — especially getting to know the people I support. Whether it's helping with daily routines or simply offering companionship, I find it incredibly rewarding to leave someone smiling and feeling a little brighter after each visit.
When I have some free time, I enjoy sewing and crafts (I’ve even made clothes for my youngest!), reading, and, most of all, spending quality time with my family.
From Events to Care — Organising with Heart and Purpose
I joined the team in October 2019 as a newcomer to the healthcare sector, transitioning from a 12-year career in the events industry where I managed everything from global corporate conferences to local private functions. While the industries may seem worlds apart, the core skills of organisation, communication, and staying calm under pressure have proven invaluable in my role today.
Originally joining as Bookings Manager, I quickly developed a strong understanding of our care operations and the vital role we play in the community. Now, as Care Coordinator for Ashford and Canterbury, I manage our care workers' schedules, support client relationships, and help ensure we consistently deliver safe, person-centred care.
Building and maintaining strong connections with both staff and clients is something I take real pride in — I believe it’s the foundation of what makes our service so trusted.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our young son Oscar, going on adventures and making memories with friends and family.
Leading with Experience, Coordinating with Compassion
Natalie joined Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd in February 2025, bringing with her over a decade of hands-on experience in adult social care. With a strong background in supporting individuals with complex needs and learning disabilities, she has progressed from frontline roles into leadership — and now plays a key part in coordinating our services across the Folkestone, Dover and Ashford regions.
In her role, Natalie oversees care planning, staff recruitment, training, and ongoing service delivery. She’s committed to ensuring every individual we support receives consistent, high-quality, person-centred care.
Passionate about community impact and positive outcomes, Natalie brings both compassion and clarity to her leadership — and is a valued part of our growing team.
