Very grateful for help received.
Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure being able to assist.
Reliable professional caring service. My wife receives three visits per day and we are provided with a weekly timesheet that provides the names and time when the carer's will arrive. To date, the timekeeping has been consistent and very good with the same carers providing the service. They have built up a knowledge of my wife's problems and record any issues or concern so that the district nurse can provide assistance and take appropriate action so that my wife is comfortable and without pain.
Thank you for the very kind words, we will be sure to feed this back to our carers on the ground, this is wonderful feedback for them.
We were very apprehensive about using a care agency having had terrible experiences in the past. Unfortunately, due to renovation works being carried out in our home, we had to get help to look after my father-in-law. We were very impressed with the initial assessment and the company's ability to quickly put in place the care package we were requesting. We were also pleasantly surprised with the 2 staff members who came to assist my father-in-law. They were, kind, gentle, generous, caring and dedicated.
While we were away we had a text message from the pharmacy to say that his medication was ready to be picked up and my wife and I panicked that he would be left without medication while we were away, but a quick call to care plus saw a career pop into pharmacy, collect his meds and make sure that he had all he needed. The peace of mind that came from knowing he was in safe hand was invaluable.
Highly recomended!
They were outstanding and we will certainly use them again should the need arise.
Thank you for the very kind words, we will be sure to feed this back to our carers on the ground, this is wonderful feedback for them.
Problems:
- came at different times each week. Not able to plan.
- some excellent and interacted well with my husband
- one not able to involve my husband at all
Difficult job but very uneven helpers.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass it over to the team that supported you both. I will also pass over the problems you encountered to the office team in order to learn from our mistakes moving forward.
The daily care the staff gave my dad was exceptional. He looked forward to their visits. When is needs increased I phoned in the morning and the extra visit was put in place the same day. They guided and cared for the family as well, helping us to get vital equipment and phoning district nurses. We were so lucky to have found this company.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was an absolute pleasure to be there for you all and take care of him.
Am very happy with the service. Staff in the office are very helpful and go out of their way to help. All the carers that have been to Mum's are very good and understand how she is, and any problems and they ring me to let me know.
Thank you for your kind feedback for our team, we really appreciate the positive words and will as ever pass this onto our Home Carers on the ground. Regards, The Kare Plus Team.
Kare Plus came to our assistance when my wife was very ill and had to take to her bed. They came for times a day and gave outstanding care, they were very capable and very friendly, to the extent that my wife looked forward to them coming. They treated her very well and with great dignity. I could not have managed without them, I would recommend them to anyone.
Thank you for your wonderful comments, you are most welcome, this will all be fed back to the carers involved. Kind regards, The Kare Plus Team.
Well organised set up.
The Kare Plus Team.
I am my wife's 'carer' and for the last few months, I have been grateful for respite each week for three hours provided by staff from Kare Plus Ashford & Shepway. They have always been kind, caring, and keen to help my wife while I rested and dealt with outstanding household matters.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass this over to the team.
Very friendly and patient carers. Always on time and good with my Mum making sure she is safe and well. They also make sure her dog is fed and watered. A great peace of mind knowing my Mum is cared for when I am not around.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass this over to the team.
The support that I had was wonderful. The majority of the staff were knowledgeable, kind and considerate. I felt thoroughly supported, thank you. There was one carer who went above and beyond what was expected. Such a lovely lady.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass this over to the team.
Kare Plus have been the second care company I have used for my parents. It started with 1-3 calls daily but quickly changed to a live-in carer. The lady that was found was fantastic for my mum while my dad was in hospital. In the one week dad came home, 2 members of staff covered the night carer slots and were brilliant. Sadly dad went back to hospital and then was admitted to a home, but the care and advice I was given was very helpful and supportive. I have continued with daily visits for my mum and have always found the care provided professional and good. Communication with Kare Plus is also very good!
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass this over to the team who help to care for your mother.
The staff who came to look after my mother were much appreciated. Kind and caring, and efficient in giving healthcare assistance to my mother after her return from hospital, aged 102 and very frail and needing 'total care' attention. Thank you to them all.
Thank you for your kind words, it was lovely to have met and helped take care of your mother. I will pass your words on to the team that provided the care.
We're still working on having the care calls scheduled at the time that we want them but they have been fantastic at keeping us informed and parachuting in staff when needed. We don't always receive a rota but we are getting the care. Thank you for everyone's hard work.
Thank you for your kind words, we will pass this all onto the carers, it's great to hear this positive feedback, and thank you for the critique on the Rotas, we will look into this immediately. Kind regards, All at Kare Plus.
The girls who come once a week are very good and helpful.
Very friendly and good workers.
All the Team @ Kare Plus.
Kare Plus provided a much-needed service at a time of crisis for our family. The staff went above and beyond caring for my parents. The support we all got was exemplary. Thank you Kare Plus Ashford & Shepway.
Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure looking after your parents. Glad we were able to help at such needed times, Hope Mum has settled in her new home.
We found Kare Plus provided pleasant, efficient and, above all, caring service and would recommend it to others.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass this onto the team.
The staff member that was employed for a weekly visit was fab and my experience with the administration staff has been second to none.
Friendly and efficient at all times.

Meet the Team (8)
Founded in 2016
From Humble Beginnings to Leading With Purpose
I began this journey in 2016 with a simple vision: to raise the bar in care. Alongside my Recruitment Manager at the time, Matt Stacey, we started as a team of two. Today, that vision has grown into a thriving family of over 160 dedicated professionals — including 60+ care staff and a passionate office team — supporting over 100 clients and settings across Kent.
Rooted in Kent, Driven by Values
Now proudly operating as Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd, we’ve become more than just a care provider — we're a trusted part of the community in Ashford, Folkestone, and surrounding areas. With over 100 glowing reviews on Homecare.co.uk, we’ve consistently been recognised as one of the region’s highest-rated providers, and we continue to build on that reputation every day.
Professional Standards, Personal Commitment
This business has always been personal. Providing great care isn’t just what we do — it’s who we are. Every service we deliver is grounded in our core values of respect, dignity, and compassion. Ultima Care is not just a company name; it’s a promise to every person and family we support.
Thank you for being part of the journey so far — we’re only just getting started.
Shaping Care. Driving Standards. Leading Growth.
I joined the team in 2019 as Recruitment Manager and quickly evolved my role by qualifying as a trainer and launching my own care training business — which I later brought into the company to strengthen in-house development. Since then, I've progressed into the role of Chief Operating Officer and Registered Manager, helping lead the business through a period of rapid growth and transformation.
Having completed my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, my focus today is firmly on operational excellence, workforce development, and preparing Ultima Care for its next chapter — including the expansion into complex care and clinical services.
I’m deeply committed to raising standards across every area of the business, ensuring our care is not only compliant, but compassionate, consistent, and driven by values.
Outside of work, I enjoy quality time with my family, long walks, and staying active through my passion for rugby.
Precision. People. Purpose.
I joined the team in 2017 and have grown with the business ever since. Over the years, I’ve supported everything from bookings to client account management, with a strong focus on delivering person-centred, efficient financial support across all the services we provide.
Now proudly serving as Chief Financial Officer at Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd, I work closely with our Director on the day-to-day financial operations, long-term planning, and sustainability of the business. My background in the insurance industry — where I spent 16 years specialising in subsidence claims as a Recovery Claims Consultant — has given me a meticulous eye for detail and a strong foundation in complex case management.
After relocating from London to Folkestone in 2015, I discovered a rewarding new path in the care sector and have never looked back.
Outside of work, I love socialising with friends and spending quality time with my family — with regular trips back to London to catch up with loved ones.
40+ Years of Compassion, Leadership & Dedication in Care
With over four decades of experience in health and social care, I’ve dedicated my life to supporting others. My journey has included roles as a Dental Nurse, Carer in both residential and nursing homes, and most notably, 14 years as the Manager of a specialist Dementia Unit.
I hold an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, and throughout my career, I’ve taken a hands-on, people-first approach — something I now bring to my role as Patient Services Lead at Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd. Whether it’s supporting clients, families, or our care team, I believe that delivering outstanding care starts with genuine human connection.
I’m proud to be part of a business that truly puts care and community at its core.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum of four and grandmother of six. I love cooking, reading, and spending time with my family — and I never miss a Spurs match!
Finding the Right People, For the Right Kind of Care
I’ve worked in the care industry for many years, primarily within dementia care homes — a role that brought both challenge and deep reward. As a Healthcare Assistant working under qualified nursing staff, I developed a strong foundation in hands-on care and person-centred support.
In 2019, I transitioned into recruitment and joined what is now Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd. My role covers end-to-end recruitment, compliance, and onboarding — from writing job descriptions and adverts to interviewing, selecting, and welcoming skilled carers into our growing team. I take pride in maintaining close relationships with both new and long-standing care staff, ensuring they feel valued and supported from day one.
I also completed formal recruitment consultant training and became a certified Physical Intervention Trainer in 2019, allowing me to deliver key training sessions to both homecare and agency staff.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to two wonderful children aged 17 and 12, and we share our home with a lovable little pug who keeps us smiling. I’m very much a people person — I love family time, discovering beautiful places, and meeting new faces wherever I go.
Delivering Care with Heart Since 2018
I joined Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd (formerly Kare Plus) in April 2018, shortly after raising my fifth daughter, who was just two and a half at the time. Before entering the care sector, I trained in beauty therapy and ran my own mobile beauty business — but it was the opportunity to care for others that truly sparked a new and lasting passion.
Since then, I’ve never looked back. I love what I do — especially getting to know the people I support. Whether it's helping with daily routines or simply offering companionship, I find it incredibly rewarding to leave someone smiling and feeling a little brighter after each visit.
When I have some free time, I enjoy sewing and crafts (I’ve even made clothes for my youngest!), reading, and, most of all, spending quality time with my family.
From Events to Care — Organising with Heart and Purpose
I joined the team in October 2019 as a newcomer to the healthcare sector, transitioning from a 12-year career in the events industry where I managed everything from global corporate conferences to local private functions. While the industries may seem worlds apart, the core skills of organisation, communication, and staying calm under pressure have proven invaluable in my role today.
Originally joining as Bookings Manager, I quickly developed a strong understanding of our care operations and the vital role we play in the community. Now, as Care Coordinator for Ashford and Canterbury, I manage our care workers' schedules, support client relationships, and help ensure we consistently deliver safe, person-centred care.
Building and maintaining strong connections with both staff and clients is something I take real pride in — I believe it’s the foundation of what makes our service so trusted.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our young son Oscar, going on adventures and making memories with friends and family.
Leading with Experience, Coordinating with Compassion
Natalie joined Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd in February 2025, bringing with her over a decade of hands-on experience in adult social care. With a strong background in supporting individuals with complex needs and learning disabilities, she has progressed from frontline roles into leadership — and now plays a key part in coordinating our services across the Folkestone, Dover and Ashford regions.
In her role, Natalie oversees care planning, staff recruitment, training, and ongoing service delivery. She’s committed to ensuring every individual we support receives consistent, high-quality, person-centred care.
Passionate about community impact and positive outcomes, Natalie brings both compassion and clarity to her leadership — and is a valued part of our growing team.
