I am delighted with my care, especially by my 2 regular carers who go above and beyond their duty to support me.

Only issue is times and not sticking to times. 8:30 for breakfast and 10:30 for dinner is not acceptable.
This has been passed back to office many times and still same issues week after week.

I've been extremely lucky with my carers Blanche and Marie, Collete and emily all are amazing help to me admit Adil and Dominique. If only office would leave them alone and let them get on with the job they understand our needs perfectly. Though I do understand the pressure their all under.

I have used Lotus homecare since the start of the COVID pandemic. I find the service has improved during this time. The overall experience is satisfactory. Care and support varies as the care staff change over time. The management too has changed. Requests to cancel calls e.g. doctors, and hospital opps. has improved as previously messages were not passed on resulting in unnecessary phone calls to relatives. Perhaps the office staff could let clients know if there's a major delay to calls due to important circumstances. I am always treated with respect. As for value for money I have nothing to compare Lotus with.

She chatted to my dad prior to my arrival and shared his comments about my late Mum.
She asked relevant questions in a thoughtful way. She listened to our replies and made notes. She made some suggestions about things she could discuss with management to make some things better. A very easy and reassuring process.

I want to do this commendation to certain staff members of Lotus Rotherham, unfortunately I cannot name them but in particular the two teams. They always treat my mum with respect and above all kindness. I would also like to add the person on the out-of-hours line on Friday night and Saturday 10th/11th Jan 2025 to this commendation. Any care providers don't always get the praise they deserve, but these guys do their very best with the resources they have. I have my own quite serious health issues at the moment and the weather has been extreme of late, yet I know mum is safe with them. Prior to Lotus as a family we had 2 other care companies which were far from being close to adequate but Lotus are worlds apart. My mother is 24/7 bed bound but those teams make sure Mum is heard and cared for and Mum seems happy, I love seeing her smile when they do her hair and they listen to her and have more patience than me finding something for her to watch.
