I'm very pleased with all the carers, they are all very helpful and take there time with my mum, she is over the moon , she really loves one specific member of staff, she always takes about her , I'm so pleased to see my mum smile , worth the money just to see her happy , thanks to all the team x

I have nothing but positive feedback for Meritum. All carers are well trained and provide care and support with dignity and respect.
The two ladies in the office are so polite and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them they are a credit to Meritum as are there lovely carers

I have two carers who I prefer to have. I do not like having different ones which the management understands. My main carer is absolutely great, she is so caring, stands beside me so I do not fall, and makes sure I am clean and tidy. She will do anything for me. My other carer is very good too, they
understand what I can do and what I cannot do. Very good carers.

The carers were very good with my husband and always treated him with care and dignity. They were all pleasant and a pleasure to talk to. They were of great help when I was most in need. Physically and mentally. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

At the age of 80 I broke my shoulder and was unable to use my left arm. Keen to return to my own home despite excellent care at my daughter's, I followed up a friend's recommendation and contacted Meritum. The local manager was helpful and flexible in her approach and I felt reassured that I would receive
the support I needed. The organisation is professional and efficient. My regular carer is a delight. She arrives promptly, sorts my personal needs out, then tackles whatever jobs I need doing to fill in her hour. She has been quick to pick up the way I like things done and humours me.

We as a family were really pleased with the service we had from Meritum and the staff were basically on time. If they were to run late, this office would call to let us know. From the initial assessment to the end, we were mainly pleased and happy with the company.

The carers come in always cheerful, washing and dressing the client. They are always respectful regarding the nature of their work.
Their work also means that timing always adhered to so late visits can happen but they carry on until work is finished.

My wife is in advanced stage of dementia, although only 66. This means she is very stubborn and uncooperative to requests designed to help her. Meritum staff are superb in their patience and skilled in efforts to meet her personal hygiene requirements and needs. Despite my wife's refusal, they display
amazing patience and compassion to persuade her to be washed.

The carer who came to stay with my elderly mother was just what was needed. She was punctual, attentive, caring and was interested in what Mum was discussing with her. I have already booked her for another three occasions whilst I am away. She is able to provide that reassurance to me and confidence
to my mother.

The morning carer is excellent. The evening carers are not so good. Most are inexperienced and don't know what to do!

I am brand new to the service but already I couldn't be any happier. Staff are genuinely caring, compassionate and kind. I was extremely anxious, feeling like I would be judged, but after some reassuring contact before my 1st visit, I quickly realised I was wrong.
In 2 visits, I went from nearly cancelling
due to my anxiety, to feeling like I was letting a friend in.

The previous care provider was apaling and Mum was left up to 20 hours before the next visit leaving her in her own body fluids, not knowing when a carer would be coming. Since we have had Meritum, Mum and siblings, life has been so much better, the carers look after Mum with the best care we could
hope for she is clean and fed all her washing is done and the carers are friendly professional and attentive, we also can relax knowing that the carers will always attend. We are truly grateful to have this care package with Meritum.

My husband has both Parkinson's disease and vascular dementia and his condition has deteriorated considerably over quite a short period. I was struggling to get him up, washed and dressed. Meritum responded to my call and the carer came to see us within 24 hours. Both the main and the reserve carers
have provided excellent, calm and efficient care. They are gentle but firm and we work as a team to get him ready for the day. We have had three weeks of service so far and the staff have arrived on time every day. The Meritum management team has responded with flexibility and I felt heard and responded to my needs.
