An excellent service. The staff are friendly and understanding. Their visits involve lots of laughter.
It's wonderful to hear that you've had an excellent experience with our service. Creating a friendly and understanding atmosphere is important to us, and we're glad that our staff members have been able to provide that for you. Laughter can be such a positive and uplifting part of caregiving, and we're delighted that our visits have brought joy to you.
Very thorough and efficient. Look after me very well.
Thank you for your kind words! Ensuring thoroughness and efficiency in our care is a top priority, and we're glad to hear that you feel well looked after by our team.
Extremely satisfied with all areas of the service.
We are thrilled to hear that you are extremely satisfied with all aspects of our service! Your satisfaction is our ultimate goal, and we're committed to consistently providing high-quality care and support
Whilst most of the carers have been excellent I have had continual issues with management about trying to ensure the number of carers is kept to a minimum due to my husband's anxiety - this has proved to be very difficult. Have had issues with times of calls where extra calls were put in place but with no discussion on what time would be best and call times being changed with no notification. Management only want to communicate by email and seems extremely reluctant just to pick up the phone and talk to me. Due to the issues with management, I have had to unfortunately find another agency. Get rid of the management and pay the carers a decent wage!
Carefound have been providing 2 hours per day (morning and afternoon) supplementing the work of a live-in carer, and providing the legally required second person in hoisting. They began in November 2021 and ended in January 2024, because the funding model involving the local council was insufficient - I regret that.
We used Carefound for my mum for five months, gradually working up to 24/7 care. We were very happy with them and, in general, found the carers to be of a very high standard in terms of professionalism and pride in their job. The management were very clear in their communication and, as we needed to increase the level of the care, the discussions around the options available to us.
In my experience of Carefound I have had no problems. They are always helpful on the phone if I have to alter the arrangements. My carer is willing to do anything I've asked of her! I can't at this time think there is anything else I need, but to know they are there in the future is comforting.
Thanks very much to the team at Carefound Home Care who were both professional, understanding and most important, caring.
We needed extra care support for my father and from engagement to care provision, our experience has been very good. The management team were very efficient in arranging the care and with communications with the family. Whilst my father was well cared for and found all the carers supporting him kind, helpful and supportive.
I had a poor experience with care providers in past years and thus was a little apprehensive when I had to find care providers for my aunt, especially as I do not live close to her.
Carefound management has engaged in excellent communication with myself and nothing has been an issue.
I receive prompt responses to emails or phone calls.
My aunt, having dementia, can be challenging at times, however, the experience, compassion and care displayed by her regular carers have been exemplary.
The management team have ensured she has the same fabulous carers and when another carer is due to attend a 'warm introduction' has been given prior to them visiting.
I would like to thank all concerned in my aunt's care.
We were surprised at how quickly the carers settled into our daily routine with the personalised care plan - an excellent scheme.
We look forward to working with you again in the future.
My father is happy with the service. We have no other home care company to compare with however, so hard to recommend. I feel management could try to deal with some issues more directly rather than involving me. I have felt like piggy-in-the-middle on a couple of occasions. Standard has fallen below expected level at times, nothing serious but disappointing. Carers should be better paid, in my opinion, so need to reduce management costs.
The company provided twice daily care visits for my 93-year-old brother-in-law with late-stage dementia. The care, compassion and consideration by managers and staff from the initial needs assessment to delivery of care were exemplary and always professional. The three, regular carers rapidly developed a warm rapport with their client who they treated with respect. He welcomed their presence, greeting them as friends. They were always mindful of his wishes while ensuring his needs, as identified in the care plan, were being met. I have huge respect for, and could not have been more impressed by, those three dedicated carers. In addition, the company uses an online system that means family members can read (and respond to) the observations posted by the carers during their visits. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for its excellent care-at-home. It employs sensitive, empathetic individuals who are well-trained and experienced in the care of clients with dementia.
I am very satisfied with the care that is even by all the carers that I have. I would wish that there was more communication between the office and clients.
Very caring staff who interact well with my dad. They have his best interests at heart and are very good at letting the family know if there is anything we should be aware of. Very reliable and backed up by an approachable and efficient admin team.
Good. Treated with dignity and care.
A truly caring service provided with expertise and friendliness from day one. Totally reliable care given from carers and administration staff.
The carers are wonderful with our mum and very supporting to her and us. We are very grateful for their kindness and support at a very difficult time in our lives. Thank you.
Thank you all at Carefound.
Carefound is as outstanding as the CQC report says. They have provided a genuinely caring service for my mother-in-law since Nov 2021. Management and care team work together to ensure great continuity of care with the minimum number of carers possible, both of whom are wonderful. Great communication with the family and well trained (including in dementia care). My relative was very resistant to the idea of carers before they started, but they quickly formed a rapport. Their visits now brighten her day, keep her more in touch with reality, make our lives less stressed, and her house more under control, eg food not hidden and rotting! They deal sensitively with her needs and wishes and are enabling her to remain at home for longer than we expected. They have also dealt well with mini-crises, eg with her having gone out unexpectedly before their visit. They are based mainly in Wilmslow; we are a little out of the area and are glad to have found them - hope they expand more!

Meet the Team (5)
My journey in the healthcare sector began in 2009 at a residential care home. In 2017, I transitioned to domiciliary care when I joined Carefound Home Care, and I’ve never looked back. I’ve progressed along my career path from carer to Registered Branch Manager, a role I started in 2022 and achieved my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
I have a genuine passion for helping others, and I find it incredibly rewarding to lead and collaborate with a team that shares this commitment to improving the lives of those we support. Learning about each person’s life history inspires me to deliver person-centred care tailored to their individual needs.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my twin daughters, who always keep me busy. We enjoy long walks with our dog, Kyza, and love visiting Macclesfield Forest.
I began working in the health and social care sector in 2014. I started as a carer and progressed to Care Manager. I have worked in both domiciliary care and residential care; however, my passion has always been for domiciliary care. I feel there is something special about being able to support people to remain in their own homes.
I achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England in 2016 and a Level 3 Diploma in Management in 2018. I am currently working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.
My passion for working in the health and social care sector has always been driven by my desire to make a difference in someone’s day. I really enjoy going out, meeting new and existing clients, getting to know them, and learning about their lives.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my son, partner, and our dog, Dylan. I like to unwind by cooking, and my family's favourites are toad in the hole and chicken stroganoff.
After spending seven years travelling the world with British Airways and managing over 300 passengers on a plane, I decided it was time to transition to the care sector. My experience as a Senior Cabin Manager highlighted the transferability of many of my skills, and I found that caring for others came naturally to me.
I began my career in care in 2017, progressed to a management level, and joined Carefound Home Care in September 2018.
Caring for passengers at 35,000 feet gave me valuable insights into myself, revealing that my passion for care extended beyond the skies. The patience, duty of care, listening skills, overcoming communication barriers, and helping others adapt to new environments all laid the groundwork for my natural inclination to care for the clients I now support.
I take great joy in recruiting like-minded staff at Carefound Home Care and coming up with fun and creative marketing ideas for our team.
Since entering the care industry, I have completed my Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England and I am on the verge of finishing my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care. I have also trained new carers within our company and attended multiple "Train the Trainer" courses to support this.
Outside of work, I stay active as the captain of a Ladies XI cricket team in the summer and play hockey in the winter. I also enjoy playing the guitar, singing, and walking with my partner and our two dogs, George and Gigi, who often accompany me to the office and love meeting some of our clients whenever possible!
I started my career as a full-time carer in 2018 after my children had all completed their education. I find the role very rewarding and have now progressed to a senior carer.
I love the relationships I have built with my clients, and I know some regard me as their friend rather than just a carer.
I received an award for being highly commended in the dementia carer category in 2021 at the Great British Care Awards.
Outside work I enjoy spending time with my 5 children and family, and I adore my 2 grandsons.
