A professional firm. Can speak to anyone about my concerns and it is dealt with in a swift and professional way.
I know all care agencies are suffering from staffing issues, so carers are being stretched having to care for more clients. However, my mum has more than one carer, so there doesn't appear to be any ownership or responsibility. I am unsure that she received the hours she personally pays for, and the timings seem to fit around the carers rather than her needs; she should have someone about 10 am and then and teatime, 4-5 pm, but they arrive when they can fit her in.
Care providers are facing challenges due to the current pandemic, and Stockwellcare is no exemption, as some care workers are on self-isolation because of Covid-19. However, we are doing our best in ensuring that all our service users received quality care according to their support plan despite...
My usual carer is very good. I sometimes get different ones, and they have all been ok. I would not like to change anything.
I have no complaints whatsoever, only praise for the carers.
Very polite and caring people and prompt attention to any problems.
Mum gets 4 visits per day and the carers are always within time and very helpful. Mum is satisfied with all the help she is given. I am very pleased that the carers will now and again trim Mum's hair which improves her wellbeing, they will also report any health concerns to me.
Carers respect home and dignity satisfactory.
The experience overall has been positive since the beginning. There have been negative events that have ruined the trust with specific individuals and some do not show a caring side (on the phone while handling mum). However, there are carers that go the extra mile and treat my mum amazingly which makes us extremely happy. We see them speak to her and handle her in a gentle respectful way.
My carers are very, very good. They know their job and do very well. Polite, have a good manner and help me when I need help. I am very happy that they are here, couldn't do without them.
I have been happy with my carer.
To us, they feel part of the family. They go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are the most caring people I have met. With their help, my dad is improving every day.
