Lead Care

I am a laryngectomee and had no vocal cords when care commenced in June 2019. My prosthesis valve had come out and I was unable to speak. Consequently, carers had language difficulties with written communication. After the operation to insert a new valve at the end of July 2019, this problem was resolved.

My experience with the care workers is that they have been helpful and friendly.

We have been very pleased with the service. The carers are very patient and kind. Always punctual and communicate well.

As a family, we have had experience of many care agencies over the last few years, firstly with our father and the last two years with our mother. Lead Care looked after our mother for around 18 months and are, without exception, wonderful. They are caring, understanding, easy to communicate with and in our families opinion, go above and beyond what we expected. We think so highly of them that we have recently requested their services for my father-in-law.

Reliable, cheerful, professional and understanding. They are considerate and take the initiative when necessary. Easy for the family to communicate and liaise with.

The Lead care team have been so wonderful, looking after my dad in his final months. I live some distance away and it was a great comfort to know that such caring and kind people were helping him. Not only that they always went the extra mile and nothing was too much trouble for them. They are trustworthy and reliable and I would recommend them to anyone.

I need a better time and continuity which has been better lately.

If there is a problem you phone the management and she soon gets it sorted.

I am much happier knowing the same lady carer is caring for me other than when she has a day off. She has a nice chat with me and makes me feel more secure as I live alone.

From day one we have received excellent care from all the carers. They have displayed great care and understanding to my husband's condition and have been very attentive to all his needs. Also, they are very willing to help me in small ways. They have a very happy disposition which puts my husband at ease with. We have no complaints whatsoever.

Very kind and considerate care staff who work to a high standard. They arrive on time and devote sufficient time to my mother's needs. Never rushed. They engage my mother in conversation. They wish my mother well on departure. Impressed by their friendliness.

My mother has been very well looked after. I have asked her about the carers and she has said she is very satisfied with all the carers. Asked if she was to mark the carers out of 10, 10 out of 10 was her answer. Thank you very much for all you do.
