Radfield Home Care Havering & Brentwood looked after my dad and were absolutely incredible. My father was bed-bound but had all his facilities. He had been cared for by another company previously. The difference in care from Radfield Home Care Havering & Brentwood was apparent on the first visit. There was absolutely no comparison. Radfield Home Care Havering & Brentwood cared for my dad as though he was family and myself and siblings felt complete trust in the fact we knew he would be looked after. There were a couple of occasions he needed care that wasn’t scheduled, and they were incredibly flexible and obliged to ensure my dad was comfortable. This immediately gave peace of mind in what would otherwise have been a very stressful situation. My dad wasn’t happy he was bed-bound, but the carers were compassionate, got to know him and to our surprise, we often heard laughter coming from his room; he and the carers were at times were howling with laughter. No better sound. A lovely company with fantastic staff. Thanks for looking after my dad.
It was honestly our pleasure to look after your Dad.
All the very best.
Radfield first started to assist my mum by taking her out twice per week to garden centres, local shops and parks. Mum really looked forward to these outings - it helped her keep mobile with her walker and the opportunity to visit much-loved places on a regular basis. As mum's needs changed, Radfield carers stepped in to prepare a healthy lunch and cook the dinner. This service ensured that both she and dad ate sufficient quantities rather than the tiny meals they had started to prepare for themselves. Radfield were also able to step up their service as mum started to need help with personal care. Mum's carers were always lovely - truly caring, thoughtful, kind and considerate and the Office Team were brilliant - always available to help. I would have no hesitation in recommending Radfield.
Kindest Regards.
Radfield Home Care have been lifesavers for Mum and me. All the ladies are lovely, and the office staff are also great. If I ever need any last-minute extra care for Mum, they always arrange something quickly. Don't know where we'd be without them!
Wishing you all the best.
Would happily recommend to anyone and use again, as needed.
Many thanks for your lovely review. I know the team really enjoyed making a positive difference to your Mum.
Very happy with both carers who looked after me.
Thank you for the review of our service. It was so lovely to support you. All the best, Lisa.
Radfield looked after my dad and the care was excellent, and the staff were lovely. They arrived on time and mum was happy having them in the house.
Thank you, Annette, for your review. We really enjoyed caring for you Dad. Best Wishes.
The Radfield girls took care of our dear Mum for the past few years. Always treated with care, kindness and with much dignity, she greatly appreciated everything they did for her. Nothing was too much trouble. Without their support, Mum wouldn't have been able to stay in her own home. They never let us down once, and always went the extra mile. We lost Mum a few weeks ago just before her 100th Birthday. The Radfield team were legends, and we wouldn't hesitate to give them our highest recommendation.
Thank you Marion for your very kind review. It was an honour to be able to care for your mum and support her to live happily at home. We are all privileged to have known her and be a part of her life. Jennie & Lisa
Have been using Radfield to support my Mum and Dad at home and then my Mum in care. They have been superb in all respects especially being responsive to changes in requirements. The staff are really lovely and show huge empathy for Mum who is a dementia sufferer. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Thank you, Paul, for your very kind review. It has always been a pleasure spending time with your mum and dad, and then with your mum in her care home. We are very grateful for your review. Jennie & Lisa.
In 2017 my sister was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and last year her mental health deteriorated quite significantly. Since she lives alone and with her ever-increasing need for help and guidance, she eventually agreed for carers to come in to administer her medication twice a day. After much research and discussions with my sisters two daughters, we settled on Radfield Home Care. Right from the start, both the directors have been amazing with their support and understanding in order to accommodate the additional problems that were developing. Each of the carers assigned to my sister, certainly appear to be kind and considerate in attending to her requirements, therefore enabling her to cope with her condition. They often do other things to help when necessary and their allotted time permits. The phone app is an absolute godsend as it enables us to monitor her progress twice a day which allows us to rest a little easier, knowing she is receiving her daily medications as prescribed. Also knowing she is being assisted with those daily tasks that she would otherwise find very difficult or even impossible. A big thank you to all at Radfield Home Care.
Thank you so much Jill for your lovely review. We love visiting your sister and it is a pleasure to see her each day. Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review for us! Jennie & Lisa
The management and staff are excellent they treat my dad with utmost respect and dignity. The team are genuine caring people. Thank you Radfield.
Thank you for your lovely review. We love visiting your dad, he is a joy to be around! Thank you again.
I used the agency to employ a carer to take my husband who has dementia and his friend who also has dementia out for the afternoon to give me a break. The agency made sure we had the same carer each time which is important. The carer was great, very kind, friendly and respectful towards both of them. I would definitely use Radfield again.
Thank you Sandra for reviewing our service! We greatly appreciate this and wish you and your husband all the best.
Radfield have been providing multiple day visits as home support for my mum and dad for quite a few months now after a switch from another provider. They have proven themselves to be more professional in terms of the planning and communication (both of which are excellent) and the individual carers have consistently impressed with their compassion, attentiveness and practicality. Radfield have facilitated productive contact with an occupational therapist that has helped to improve things around the house. They have also shown a willingness to work with my mum and dad and the wider family, to accomplish the basic aim of allowing them to stay at home in a safe and supported environment.
Thank you Martin. It is a pleasure to read your review and we are so glad your mum and dad can be happy and comfortable at home. Thank you for all your support as a family too!
His two lady carers are absolutely amazing. My Grandad has been under their care for some time now - he loves his visits to Radfield. Throughout the last week, my Grandad, a World War II veteran, took a trip to Normandy on the MV Boudicca to commemorate the D-Day landings. This whole experience for my grandad would not have been possible without one of the ladies accompanying him for the week and looking after his every need. She has been an absolute treasure and has kept us updated with stories and photos along the way. The other staff member has been amazing too with her joy and words of support. I have never seen my grandad smile so much. I would highly recommend these two lovely ladies as my Grandad now has a great connection and network of friends he sees each week. A heartfelt thank you from my family and I.
Hi Kelly, thanks so much for your lovely feedback. We are truly honoured to support your amazing Grandad. He is a true hero that we all treasure. Thanks again.
I have found the carers all very helpful and willing to do anything they can to help. I look forward to them coming and I know by the time they leave after 2 hours all is spotless and I am feeling much more cheerful and hope they will keep coming for as long as I need them. It's comforting to know there are people like the carers and I hope everyone appreciates as much as I do.
Hi Doreen, many thanks for your review - it means so much to us that you are happy with the service that we provide. Thanks, Lisa.
Excellent care given to my father. Very understanding staff and always ready to help in any way they can.
Thank you very much, Lorraine, for reviewing our service and it is an absolute pleasure and privilege to care for your family!
I wanted to say how grateful I am to all the staff at Radfield Home Care, Havering & Brentwood. I was already very impressed with the level of care, professionalism and support they gave my husband who has Alzheimer's but when I had a fall in September and had to stay in hospital for a few weeks, they really saved the day. On the day it happened they waited with me for the ambulance and reassured my husband. They stayed and looked after him when I was taken to hospital. At very short notice they arranged extra support for him and even visited me in hospital. I cannot say how grateful I am and cannot fault them in any way and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one. They really care and do so with smiles on their faces.
Thank you June for your really kind words. We are so happy to be able to support you and your husband and it is a joy for the carers to spend time with you both. Thank you again!
My mother has used Radfield form late may to late October 2018. We have been very happy with the service which unfortunately had to stop due to Radfield no longer having a member of staff in the Hutton area. My mother has appreciated the visits to help with washing, dressing and cleaning. All the staff who visited were kind, helpful and considerate towards my mother. We would be happy to recommend Radfield to others. Friendly helpful management
Thank you for your very kind review. We are so glad you and your mother have been happy with the service and we hope to keep in touch. Thank you again and wishing you all the very best.
I have already recommended Radfield as so impressed with all involved in Mum's care. Such a high standard we have never experienced before.
It's difficult entrusting others to care for family members but Radfield team are there for mum for all her care needs.
All staff have been professional and really have become great friends with mum and the family. I always say, five-star care. Mum loves everyone at Radfield. We are so grateful to you all.
Thank you.
Thank you so much, Trish, for your review. It is great to hear your feedback and we are so proud to read your review. We absolutely love caring for your mum and are so grateful to be able to support her in living an independent and happy life. Thank you so much!
I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism and level of care given to my mother. She suffers from dementia and easily gets confused and upset. Radfield carers have been extremely kind and caring and go the extra mile when visiting my mother to make sure that she is comfortable and happy. They quickly let us know of any problems - and my mother has come to trust and like the carers. I have been very happy with the organized approach to the care - we regularly get schedules of care - and also they are happy to accommodate extra visits if we have to go away or circumstances change temporarily. All in all, very happy with the agency - we have used ones in the past but never had this level of care - which is obviously a great comfort to my sister and I and my mother.
Thank you so much Jackie for your wonderful review of our service. We absolutely love providing care for your mother and we are so glad we can support her to live comfortably and independently in her own home. Thank you for your ongoing support.
All the carers look after my father very well. They give him meals and medication. They treat him with great respect (as a veteran) which he deserves!! They have chats with him which is good for him. Notes are written as asked which is very helpful to us as a family. We are contacted if there are any problems. All the staff are very approachable. They also take my dad out sometimes, which he really enjoys. I have trust in them which is very important for our family.
Thank you so much, Diane for your review! It is great to hear your feedback and we are so happy to be caring for your dad. He is such an inspirational man and it’s wonderful to hear his life stories and also take him out to events in the local community. Thanks again, love the Radfield team

In 2012, he passed away. He received a service funeral from the London ambulance service and it was at that moment I knew my calling was in care.”
