A Star have been caring for my husband for 2 months since he returned from full-time residential care. The prospect of having him home again, although exciting, was also daunting. All staff from A Star have been amazing. They have been professional, kind and courteous to my husband, who has end-stage
early-onset Alzheimer's disease, and have been a constant source of support to me without being intrusive in our home. I would happily recommend this friendly team to anyone in the same situation as us.

My grandad has received fantastic care over the last year. The staff are punctual, reliable, flexible and respectful towards my grandad's needs.
The management are hands-on with the care and will liaise with me if they believe he could benefit in other areas of care being provided.

A Star Care Services know that the best help they can provide comes from listening carefully to what their client really wants from them.
In my brother's case, the whole team understands that it is independence and that has become the core of the care they provide.
It is a totally bespoke package
that enables my brother, who is severely disabled, to live his life his way as safely as he can. Just living independently in his own home is a risk for him but, with careful management and well-trained staff, they have enabled him to take more responsibility for the way he spends his time. He is able to stay up late. He does not have anyone telling him it's time for bed! They take excellent care of his physical needs and show their expertise by introducing the best equipment available e.g. his very effective new shower chair has enabled him to enjoy the relaxation of a good shower secure in the knowledge that he will not be in pain from an ill-fitting seat.
They really think A Star they care.

All the staff are really well presented, polite and punctual. Once they have been instructed as to what is required they carry out their duties with courtesy and in a professional manner. The staff are very conscientious of my dignity. All my needs are met very well and the staff are very well instructed

My mum suffers from dementia. The staff have always been very considerate and caring. There are days when mum refuses care. The staff always make sure that mum is treated with respect and they ensure her care needs are met. The manager is available to discuss any changes to the care package. The agency
does the best service for clients and the family.

Honest, always keep me updated on my father's progress and with regards to his care. All their documents on processes are very professional and quality. Their staff use the latest technology for their staff rotas. The staff are always smart with clean uniforms. The care staff always put my father's
care needs first as their top number one priority. On the rare occasion if the care staff are delayed on route, I always receive an update.

A Star have been caring for my father for the past 2 and a half years. They have helped to maintain Dad in his own home and have shown great kindness and professionalism, aiding him with personal care and preparation of meals. They are always contactable if needed and flexible. I would recommend them

We have been very happy with the care provided for mom and dad, during a very difficult time. They have been available at short notice during crisis involving one or other being admitted to hospital until family have arrived and have provided emotional support and reassurance. They have also been happy
to arrange prescription deliveries and liaise with other health professionals.

When I graduated from University, I worked in corporate for three years but soon realised I was in the wrong career. I wanted to be in a work environment which was rewarding, and care was the answer. I understand the importance of quality care and the only way to ensure this is being delivered is by working alongside your team workers, which is why I still go out in the community to provide care to ensure that clients and carers are satisfied with the care we provide.


When I started in care, I understood that I would need to know the logistics of how to deliver good care which is why I enrolled myself on Level 5 in Health & Social Care and completed it within the year.
