At Home Care is a Home Care provider, offering domiciliary Care and Support services, including 24-hour live-in care, to people within their own homes and in their local communities.

Never had carers for Dad before so not sure what to expect - the carers are very professional, caring and so nice. They are so helpful with suggestions for Dad - just cannot fault anyone from the office staff to the carers - all such lovely people. Excellent service.

The manager and carer were supportive with me, when I was feeling low. They stopped me from hurting myself and wouldn't leave until I calmed down after the medical team went.
From this, I can see a very caring company.

I wanted to say a massive thank you to Caremark (Dacorum & St Albans). Without Caremark's team of lovely carers, I don’t know how I would have coped. Caring for Mum on my own had been increasingly getting more and difficult for me, but since Caremark have been in Mum's life she has improved tenfold.
I thought I was going to lose her a few months ago, but with Caremark's support, care and looking after my Mum's wellbeing, she now has her quality of life back. You are her Angels.

I cannot thank Caremark enough for doing exactly that, and that is caring. I live almost 300 miles away from my dad, and with his dementia and other issues, it's been a worry every day, until this fantastic agency was found for us. If there are any issues, I am notified and between us, we can sort it
out at that time.
The staff, from the carers to management, are so lovely, kind and very much understanding and importantly my dad as well as myself think they are amazing. They always make time for us and nothing is too much trouble for them.
I imagine at times their job can be challenging but they remain professional, kind, caring and understanding.
After a previous bad experience from an agency, Caremark have been an absolute delight and I would definitely recommend them.

My dad has been with Caremark now for 3 years and I just had to write and say Caremark are a fantastic and very caring company, all the carers are amazing and the office staff too. I feel that my dad's care has always been at a very high standard and nothing is too much trouble. There have been a few
times where my dad has not been well and the swift thinking of the carer to call for a doctor has saved him.
I would defiantly recommend Caremark, my dad is with the Hemel Hempstead team.

At 21:15 on Friday night (04/12/20), the carer arrived for her evening duty. She was concerned at my wife's serious loss of balance and decided to request an ambulance. The carer was told that there were "more important cases to be dealt with", and there was no ambulance available for several hours.
The carer refused to accept this and called again. She was eventually advised the paramedics be called. After a series of tests, they found my wife had a faulty heart condition and took her straight to hospital where she stayed overnight. At around 08:30 Saturday morning, my wife was taken to another hospital from where a surgeon telephoned me to say he was going to operate immediately and give my wife a pacemaker. He agreed her carer's diligence had saved her life! The diagnosis was:- Complete heart block-emergency dual-chamber pacemaker.

Extremely happy with Caremark, they go above and beyond for my friend making sure she is well looked after. They always make sure everything is tidy before leaving and that my friend doesn't need anything else before they go.

My mother is the service user. Although I have not been present when the carers have attended my parents home, they have expressed their appreciation of the level of care my mother has received. On a couple of occasions, the carer that visited, had a concern about my mother's skin on her lower leg and
foot this was reported back to the office who then contacted her GP and an appointment was made, and Mum was seen. I feel confident that when there are concerns this is acted upon giving me confidence in the service provided. My father says the carers are always very cheerful.

The lady who is the manager at the Hemel Hempstead office. We had an incident at my brother's flat. The help that my brother and my wife and I received was very professional and caring to all of us. Also, a young carer was also very kind and caring. My wife and I cannot praise Caremark for all the help
and guidance they have given to us. We would recommend Caremark 100%.

A few days ago my mum had to make the difficult decision to have her beloved dog George put to sleep. She was heartbroken!
Yesterday my mum rang me in tears, not unexpected you might think but she shared with me something truly wonderful.
Having heard that George had died of cancer and knowing just
how much the dog meant to my mum, her regular carers and other members of staff decided upon a genuine act of kindness.
The Caremark (Dacorum & St Albans) manager told Mum that a fund had been given to have George cremated and his remains kept in a special casket.
My mum is a chatterbox, her carers will tell you but this beautiful gift just left her speechless.
Mum has always received wonderful care from the Caremark team but this was above and beyond any formal list of care requirements.
It was an act of simple human compassion, and I would say, love too. Not just from those who knew my mum and George but from the manager and the other generous staff who contributed too.
Well done Caremark!

My care needs have been supplied by Caremark Dacorum for the past two years. My main carer, I regard as an adopted daughter. She is supported by four others, all under the guidance of the Field Supervisor. I have used descriptions such as kind, consummate professional, reliable, crazy lady, guaranteed
to make you laugh when talking about these wonderful people.
All this has been made possible by the stewardship of the Care Manager who I have watched build up this world-class team.
Compassion, respect for dignity and commitment are now a natural expectation.
