Love In Care came to help us just when we needed it most. I cannot overstate how good they were. We had three carers in rotation 24 hours a day and they were absolutely what we needed. Professional, capable, experienced and above all caring, not just for Mum who needed care but for all of us who were trying to cope with a difficult life event, so much more than mere service. Real, human, loving, I cannot thank them enough.

I have been receiving support from Love In Care for about a month, and I am feeling much more empowered in my life already. I am feeling less overwhelmed because I know my carer is coming to help me every week. I am not depressed anymore because I am not doing it on my own. I have learned how to ask for help.
When I first got in touch, the manager was so welcoming and kind. She first helped me figure out how I can be best supported, and also told me about their ethos. Her story was inspiring and I respect how the company is compassion-focussed.

Thank you Love In Care.

We as a family are very satisfied with the services we receive from Love In Care. The carers are empathetic and provide homecare for my disabled brother who has severe learning disabilities and is also incontinent. My mother has also recently made progress in trusting Love In Care to complete more tasks and a mix of staff both male and female. Also, all the staff can speak my mother's first language (which is not English) so this avoids the language barrier which is invaluable.

Reply from Aqila Choudhry, Registered Manager at Love In Care

Thank you for sharing the progression and trust we have gained from your mum. We are really grateful for her to step back whilst still having oversight. This progression will give that little bit of respite during our visits and still feel assured that the care and support are person-centred for your brother and meet mum's standards. They are a joy to support!

I have found Love In Care very straightforward, caring, and easy to communicate with. The manager is very helpful in listening to my son's needs and arranging for the carer to be available when needed. The carer is always on time, kind and friendly, and clearly has my son's interests at heart. It remains a very positive experience, and we are so happy to have the consistency of the same carer each time, so a good relationship is building up.

Love In Care has been in contact with me from July 2023 - providing care for my mum so that my dad could have some respite as my mother was unwell with Cardiovascular Dementia. During this time, my dad was the full-time carer for Mum, therefore it was helpful to have Carers so that he could leave the house and have some time to do social activities. In January 2024, my dad was first diagnosed with internal bleeding, at this time it was confirmed that he had Pancreatic Cancer (stage 4). Love In Care stepped in with all the support they could provide, to ensure Dad had all the care he required, in conjunction with a local hospice. The care was provided daily, with a rota for Mum and a separate rota for Dad. Each time Dad's health became more strained, the Carers would change their approach to ensure he was safe, comforted and nourished as well as possible. I will always remember and appreciate, the efforts of Management and their Team, thank you kindly.

The level of care my parents are receiving is great. From the first visit, Love In Care made sure that we were all happy with the level of care and what would happen at each visit. The carers are always professional, extremely smart in their appearance, treat my parents with dignity and the visits are not rushed. It is a weight off my mind knowing that the carers are doing such a good job. I would not hesitate to recommend Love In Care to anyone.

From the very beginning when I met the manager at a dementia conference recently, I was most impressed by her approach to caring. As a result I put in place personal care for my dad, 93 with Alzheimer's, and Mum 91 who is very frail. We have been matched up with a caring, young Sikh woman who has a lovely manner and understands their needs. Cultural familiarity, kindness and compassion are important in this role and I can honestly say, the manager fully understands the needs of her clients and does her best to provide a professional service.

Thank you.

I am 57 and normally fit, healthy and active. However I suffered an accident in Spain and broke both my legs. One leg was particularly badly broken and I was very happy to wake up from my first surgery with an external fixator frame fitted, rather than losing my foot. Following nearly a month in hospital in first Spain, then Leeds, and no family support available, I have very limited mobility and Love In Care are now looking after me. I would very much like to say thank you so much for the professionalism of their carers, and the support, care and dignity they are providing for me. What a wonderful team, so helpful and dedicated. I could not manage without them.
