Love In Care has been awarded the Most Inclusive Service Provider In Leeds (2022-2023). Established in 2016 by Aqila Choudhry MBE as a result of personal experiences of gaps in culturally appropriate services for her mother and others in similar situations.

Love In Care is a Care Quality Commission Regulated Domiciliary Home Care Support Provider in Leeds with a rating of GOOD (July 2023).

They provide bespoke support in south Asian languages and culturally appropriate care to all customers.

Most of their workforce has lived experiences of loving care.

Their employees are their biggest assets!

Love In Care are creating economic wealth and independence of women especially those from Asian communities thereby making a commitment as a business to invest in these employees' development to enable all to meet their regulatory requirements.   

Love in Care are committed in creating a secure, long-term employee base as they are settled for at least two generations, some wish to become settled through employee sponsorships.

Their team has been built on word-of-mouth referrals due to the leadership style of the founder and the experiences of their employees they have a culture of inclusivity with a team that has many languages spoken. They celebrate each cultural event as a shared experience and are proactive in enabling the employees to push for personal growth and developments e.g. to become financially independent work more hours and not be in receipt of state benefits.

The carers were very caring and compassionate with my mum. She was always happy to see them. They treated her with dignity and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you to your staff. Also thanks to the managers for keeping in contact when my mum went into hospital.

Decent service ladies very approachable one lady was very caring and very helpful, the only negative point was the times in the evening as I appreciate different people have different needs, but when trying to gain my independence back coming to help me into night clothes at 4.30’in an afternoon was
a tad too early so please just take this little criticism as a positive and think about this when putting people to bed thank you

Thank you for taking the time to review, we welcome all feedback and always learn. The support we provided you has been within our partnership work with NHS North Neighbourhood Hub the visit times we were required to make were on mornings and tea times hence the 4.30 pm visits. This service has a different remit to our mainstream services as the visits are shorter and the number of visits per day varies for each patient, a bed visit was not assessed for your needs. The duration of the visits varied depending on your support needs we carried out tasks that were additional to the remit whilst ensuring you gained your independence which was achieved over a period of three months. I ensured regular contact by carrying out some visits myself and remained accessible at all times which was an additional element to our remit. We are happy to see you are progressing and wish you good health for the future.

I was impressed by the care Mum received and any concerns or queries were dealt with promptly by the very efficient manager. The carers were kind and friendly and put Mum at ease and she got on with them really well.

My dad is currently receiving assistance from Love In Care.
Dad is a very private person and before his accident, totally independent.
The care he receives from the agency is excellent, each and everyone in the team that looks after my dad are professional helpful and very caring. He receives encouragement
from them to be independent. Over the last few months, Dad has improved enormously with the assistance of the team. I hope once his care package is sorted, he can remain under the care of Love In Care.

I called the Manager after my grandparent's health took a rapid turn. My grandpa is the main carer to my gran, who has dementia, but his poor health meant we needed support for both and in the night. Gran can become quite agitated at night and Grandpa was not sleeping and was exhausted with anxiety.


Despite a last-minute call during a bank holiday weekend, the manager couldn't have been more helpful or compassionate. The care she and the team showed my grandparents was fantastic- and feeling as though we had someone in our corner as a family was a huge relief.


I can't recommend Love in Care highly enough. Thank you so much for all you did for us.

The staff are friendly and talkative with family members and look after my mother well. They are punctual but could look more the part if they wore uniforms instead of their own clothing. It would be nice for them to do more with her, for example, read to her, they could also be a bit more tidy.

As you are aware of the nature of support required there is little time left for tasks such as reading to your mum. The room is swept at each of the visits and several times during the visits. I am always available to you to raise any points, and responsive when emergencies arise often being first on the scene and alerting the family.

After years of different carer services, we finally found a service that actually cares. Previous services would leave food or a cup of tea, which would not be consumed due to my parents having dementia. The basics such as not prompting to clean teeth have resulted in decay followed by teeth falling
out.
No other carer service has tended to my parent's needs with a polite, patient and caring manner along with respecting dignity.
The service has improved the lives of my parents by implementing and applying adaptations which no other service or even social services had ever informed us of what we can have to improve the life of my parents. After three years of being in a hospital bed, my stepmother can now sit in a seat and even have lunch in the garden on sunny days.
The quality of service means that I have no stress regards to my parent's needs and I feel reassured and confident in their abilities. To add, the cultural needs are met which makes my parents comfortable and happy.

Excellent service that shows compassion, empathy and care. I cannot fault the service provided. We are updated regularly with regards to any concerns. The owner is approachable, hands on and takes ownership of any situation that may arise. The service has catered for the needs of my mother-in-law, taking
into account 24 hour care and complete service for a bed-bound patient. All the staff are friendly, caring and professional. It is really nice to see that they take the time to actually get to know my mother-in-law to care of her personal needs.

My grandma has dementia and is bed-bound and needs a lot of care and Love in Care is always there to provide an absolutely fantastic service, always punctual and provide such good care for my grandma. The care and support provided is second to none.

It's a very good company, very trusting people. They are excellent at taking care of my mum. They go above and beyond. We are very comfortable with them. The Love In Care Team at Leeds led by the Registered Manager cared for my elderly mother (96) at home for approximately eight months. Mum suffered from early dementia, and walking difficulties and was doubly incontinent.
From day one the Love In Care carers arrived to assist, mum became relaxed and
was treated with the utmost respect and given every possible personal care and attention with getting washed, dressed and changed. Mum was always safely moved from bed to chair and chairlift and throughout bathing procedures. I was particularly pleased with the support received from the carer who many times went above and beyond her expected program to ensure that mum was given additional care on my request even out of pre-arranged visiting hours.
Mum, unfortunately, passed away unexpectedly but I spoke with her on many occasions regarding her care from Love In Care staff. Mum was totally happy and content throughout the short time with the team who she regarded, as not only carers but also friends. Thank you.

Love-In-Care (LIC) looked after my mum who is immobile and has Alzheimer's. I'm an active member in the BAME Community for the City Council since 2016 and am passionate about care so felt compelled to submit this review, hoping that it helps other families who have loved ones who need care or clients
themselves. I get no pleasure from submitting a disparaging review. Initially, LIC was helpful. Carers were always super! However, we quickly realised that negative feedback was not listened to by LIC but received with defensiveness and non-cooperation. Things will go wrong and that's normal; however, when that happens, communication and cooperation is needed; we didn't receive this. An informal complaint ensued against LIC after the first issue. Agreements made but LIC failed to honour these; when safeguarding issues arose later, repeatedly in succession, LIC failed to communicate but abruptly cancelled my mother's care out of fear. This was very hostile, left my mum with no care and was totally avoidable.
