I have never had a poor carer. New carers have been eager to learn about my individual needs. Dignity? Not viable with showering, the carer keeps chatting to overcome shyness. Good rapport accompanied with concern for minor injuries, but most of all empathy and laughter.

Reply from Callie Mason, Client Communications at Guardian Angel Carers - Worthing

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, empathy and laughter are certainly important qualities and I am pleased to hear they are being included in your care. Kind regards.

The Guardian Angel agency in Worthing provided care for my friend for some very difficult months in 2021. When she was hospitalised in August the agency pulled out all the stops in order to provide a round the clock care package which allowed her to come home from hospital. This meant that she was able to spend her last days at home. The care they provided in these days was over and above and some of the carers were just amazing. They actually made the last days of my friend’s life comfortable, safe and full of love. Her friends could visit (not possible in hospital due to Covid) and her friends could feel confident that she was safe and well looked after. This meant the absolute world at the time and also now when we look back at those last days. I couldn’t thank the carers and agency enough for what they did. It was definitely more than money could buy and I’m forever grateful.

Reply from Callie Mason, Client Communications at Guardian Angel Carers - Worthing

Thank you so much for your kind words. We know how much it means to be in your own home so we are glad we were able to offer support to enable your friend to spend her final days in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by the people she cared about. Kind regards.

When it became necessary to organise care for my mother, I was impressed with how quickly a care assessment was arranged and a care plan rapidly agreed and delivered. The manager and office staff were professional, efficient and helpful. Every effort was made to tailor the care to my mothers changing needs by flexible, responsive and compassionate care staff. My mother reported that she was being treated like a queen, which at a time when I was unable to visit her myself due to Coronavirus restrictions, was very reassuring and much appreciated.

We could not have wished for better care for our Dad. Care started in June 2020 when Dad needed a bit of help with preparing meals and medication and someone to talk to. Then, as the weeks went on, Dad needed further help with getting up in the morning, personal care and getting to bed. And finally, Dad was bedridden and needed comprehensive care. Throughout this time, the Guardian Angels carers adapted to Dad's changing needs with professionalism, expertise and compassion. They also developed a genuine connection and friendship that brightened up his day. As a family, we built up a really good relationship with everyone involved and were kept fully informed, especially via an app that described what was happening at each visit. I am so pleased we chose Guardian Angel Carers, thank you to everyone involved.

From the moment Mum said she wanted to come home, her carers have shown her the utmost care and consideration. They treated her as a friend not a client with love and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble they would not leave until they were sure that Mum was comfortable and that I was happy with what I needed to ask for community nurses to visit. They were always calm and professional and I was amazed at their expertise in turning a patient using sheets, causing minimum discomfort to Mum. When Mum died, her lovely carers came to prepare her for the undertakers and stayed to comfort me in my loss. I cannot thank them enough.

My mum described her carer as very jolly, a very nice person to talk to and caring.

I have found the present carer to be very efficient. I have been notified twice regarding creams for my mum. She is professional and attentive and all times.

I became a client of Guardian Angel in April 2019. The carer assigned to us was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, always rang if she was running late and we built up a really good relationship. Unfortunately, due to the virus, she was assigned to other clients, however, the subsequent carers have all been good. All have been very helpful, caring and have done everything they could to make life easier in this difficult time.

We have been clients of Guardian Angels for the past three years. They are exceptional; from managers, office staff to work face carers. We have nothing but praise for their professional attitude and advice, care and love. Any query has been followed up promptly. During Mums recent hospital stay, my dad received their continuing care and attention, and on her discharge, the team enabled a positive and appropriate care plan. We can't thank them and praise this team enough.

Always courteous, caring and kind.
I am always informed of any changes to care schedule and time.

Carers are consistent which is important to my wife, who has dementia, for continuity in seeing a familiar face each evening.
