The standard of care from Blue River Care Home Care was excellent and the carers were polite and very friendly. I would highly recommend this group of carers to anyone. They were always on time and always asked if there was anything else that needed to be done to help out in these difficult times. Thank you Blue River and your team.
I am very impressed with this care company and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
Good morning, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank your company and especially her carer who looked after my mother in her most difficult time. She was a great help and comfort to my mum we couldn't have managed without her she's an angel once again I can't thank you all enough for your help and diligence.
My uncle had exceptional care by the team of carers and by one member of staff in particular. They were kind, caring, reliable and hard-working and gave our family huge peace of mind. They communicated very well and had my uncle’s best interests at heart. We were so grateful that he had such great care at the end of his life, he looked forward to the carer coming and had a wonderful relationship with him. Thanks to this carer and the team.
Team of three are equally caring and professional. They feel part of the family and my husband (the user) and I are very happy with the service they provide. We are particularly happy to have the same team as you get used to them. In this day and age of constant complaints about everything and anything, it is refreshing to be able to say we are happy with a service well provided.
Our family can not thank the manager and her team enough. My dad was on palliative care for only 3 weeks but the care and empathy shown to my dad was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so reassuring and gentle with our dad, they truly cared for him. It can not ever be easy for a family to face the daunting prospect that your loved one is on end-of-life care but to have this team looking after dad made this terrible journey that little bit easier to bear, he was in good caring hands. We will always be indebted to Blue River for taking care of our most precious possession, our dear dad. Thank you.
She always looked forward to her visits and enjoyed chatting to the carers.
They helped brighten her day.
My mum always spoke fondly of them.
I suffer from MS and Blue River Care company has been supporting me with 24/7 care for the last 4 years. I cannot praise the office, visiting carers and live-in carers highly enough. They are the best I've ever had over the years and my only regret is that I didn't know them earlier. It's been such a relief for me to have found them and I am extremely grateful for the team going far and beyond to help me stay at home. I don't want to go into a nursing home and Blue River Care made it possible. A reliable company that wouldn't disappoint you.
Blue River Home Care has been providing care for my mum since last September. Mum had contracted shingles and needed support in day-to-day living. Mum was adamant she wanted to stay in her own home so we spoke to the manager at Blue River about care options and at very short notice were able to start off with just one visit per day from a carer. As Mum's health has gone up and down over the last eight months we have been able to flex the number of visits up and down at short notice and the manager and the team have always been able to accommodate Mum's needs. The quality of care has been outstanding and Mum often speaks of how kind and caring her carer is. The care provided is flexible and means that we know that Mum is supported whenever she needs it. I cannot commend Blue River highly enough and recommend them to anyone who needs support.
Blue River were so easy to deal with when it came to sorting out live-in homecare, at pace, to allow hospital discharge to happen. They understood the situation so clearly, and found a carer who could start within hours. Plus they were prepared to work with other agencies to ensure the best person-centric care. Impressed.
Due to this company and its wonderful carers, my mum has been able to stay in her own home. I have been very happy with the care, respect, kindness and commitment the staff have shown her over the last three years. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they help in any way they can. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs care, they are very professional and sympathetic. Thank you.
My experience with Blue River Home Care who looked after my mum whilst she stayed with me recently has been brilliant. Starting with the manager, who is extremely helpful and kind to the lovely carer who took care of Mum with great kindness and respect. I was able to arrange care for my mum with the minimum of fuss and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend Blue River to anyone needing care.
Due to my dad's condition, nearly 4 years ago, he was in the hospital, it was decided due to his Dementia 24/7 care was needed. He didn't want to go into a home, he knew his own home. We were recommended to contact Blue River via an NHS nurse, they felt the agency could cope with dad's condition. Another problem was Dad's religion and he couldn't have a female living under his roof, unless he was married to them. It was not straightforward. Speaking to the manager and explaining all the foibles that were needed for his care, she found a carer that has got him into a routine, and his food intake has improved, he is enjoying his food now. In order to bring this review to a close, the Blue River manager has understood the client, his condition and his religion and supplied a brilliant carer for my dad. So if you have a relative that needs that extra part with their care. Contact the manager at Blue River - they do not treat their patients as a number they treat them with dignity, respect and care.
We would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for live-in care.
When mum needed more care in the home six months ago, to enable her to stay as independent as possible for as long as possible, I had a hard job finding a care company to accommodate. Blue River Home Care provided our perfect solution. Sadly Mum has now passed but the service provided by Blue River Home Care and her primary carer, over the last six months, was irreplaceable. The care and attention shown to Mum's own ways and needs went far and beyond the call of duty and I believe, created a special bond. So much attention to making her feel as comfortable as possible, whilst giving her some friendly company and understanding was so precious. Mum never wanted to be in a care home and she got her final wish because of Blue River and their care. Thank you to everyone at Blue River Home Care, especially her primary carer!
My mother started using Blue River Care two years ago, since then the carers have been excellent. In the beginning, she was a little bit easier to care for, but as her Parkinsons got more problematic, they were still very attentive and caring. During the last two months when her health deteriorated, everything was still being done to help my mum feel comfortable in her own home and the care was excellent and they liaised with me accordingly. I and my family want to thank everyone for all their help and compassion towards my mother.
When my mother's health took a serious turn in December 2020, I was met with calm and reassurance when Blue River answered my phone call for help. The company were able to act immediately, and live-in care was provided that same day. The office and I worked together for a year to ensure my mother's health and happiness. Blue River are passionate about my mother's well-being and also support me in any way that they can.
The manager has provided excellent service and made sure that my mother always had good care. The carers have been friendly, kind and helped keep my mother in her own home for as long as possible. We have really appreciated this.
They have provided an excellent and professional service and maintain their high standards throughout. Mum's carer is an exceptional carer, extremely reliable, has a big joyous personality, interacts and chats effortlessly throughout her stay, which uplifts my mum's spirits. Faced with many challenges, she has proved to be professional, shown my mum care and respect and most of all maintained my mum's dignity. I’m also reassured that every time I phone, someone always answers the phone promptly and deals with my enquiry effectively. I would highly praise Mum's carer and the manager for their dedication and commitment to the well-being of my mother.
As for the manager, she keeps in touch with you and is full of information and is willing to help you with any queries you have. The Company goes way beyond the call of duty.
If anyone is thinking of using this Company do not hesitate they are 100% professional and willing to help with anything. They truly are a godsend.
I can't thank them enough xx
