Since my Dad came home to die 4 years ago Latha and her team have provided him and now my mother with excellent care. Every member of the Team that deals with Mum is caring and reliable in their support.
It has been hugely important to know that we have been able to trust them as Mums needs continue to increase . The individual carers are very tender people and I am relieved to know that Mum can have that level of support.

Mum received care from Blue Crystal care agency for well over 4 years, enabling her to remain comfortably and safely in her own home, her dearest wish, before she passed away.
For the last 18 months, Mum's Monday-Friday care was provided by the same carer. This consistency was of great benefit to Mum, as the familiar face and good routine kept her settled and calm.

Latha and her team provided my mum with the highest level of care. They were exceptionally caring proactive and supported my brother and I through the toughest time. Mum was always happy, kept stimulated and well fed. She was unpredictable as she had a mix of complex needs including Lewey bodies dementia, COPD, epilepsy and later on Parkinson's each carer took time to understand her requirements to keep her happy and safe

I can really recommend Blue Crystal care for anyone wanting really wonderful care for their parent or loved one.
Latha the manager was great in communicating with me on all sorts of things, like dealing with the GP if I had gone on a few days away and anything else that needed sorting, plus being on the other end of the phone when I needed someone to talk to
I felt that I was able to have a few days away as I trusted the carers and Latha.
I had one carer for 5 years who was wonderful in all aspects, and due to mum's decline we had to increase the care, and over the last 20 months we have had to have 3 more, I have had the same 4 carers looking after my mum. The ladies all treated mum with care and respect even calling her mama, they managed to get mum to eat when she was a little reluctant and even placating her when she had difficult days. My mother was happy with the ladies as well, otherwise she would have let me know if she wasn't.

Blue Crystal has provided live-in care for my elderly mother for over two years now, and cared for other family members in the past. The carers are exceptionally kind, friendly, intelligent and hard-working, and my mother is very happy with them. The manager is very experienced, professional and responsive, and always acts swiftly to sort out any issues that might arise.
Our current team of carers are wonderful; a few carers in the past who were not quite up to scratch were replaced immediately with no interruption to my mother's care; new carers are always introduced by the manager and given a full induction, and the manager gave us a lot of help with the Continuing Health Care funding application and review.

Is all I can say is I have truly had bad service with this company. They have left me stranded for two weeks with not sending anyone, my first care worker spending up to three hours on her phone doing highway code. Is all I can say is I have truly had bad service with this company. They have left me stranded for two weeks with not sending anyone, my first care worker spending up to three hours on her phone doing highway code. Been very lazy, this was three times a week she was doing this, did not once make me a meal saying she cannot cook. Second care worker never once offered me a coffee or even anything to eat, she threw things out that she should not have and I had to go in my own bin to get them out, then I was promised a new care worker to come today Good Friday and that’s not happening. This company don’t contact you to tell you that they are not coming but leave you stranded. This is bad service and when you hear about care teams letting you down it’s true, I am cancelling my care plan with this care team because of the bad communication with the person that runs it, communication is terrible. She will not contact you to tell you things that you’re being let down and that’s wrong.

Unfortunately, the client cancelled the care package provided for him, as he was expecting the carers to do other duties which was not agreed by the office and the carers were uncomfortable with his requests.

My wife, suffering from severe vascular dementia, needed 24-hour care when she came out of hospital. Within 24 hours of contacting Blue Crystal, the manager had visited and arranged for a team of carers to begin work.
Since September 2017, the standard of care provided has been excellent, albeit, every carer is slightly different and when concerns were expressed about the one or two who were deemed not to be up to the high standards of their colleagues, action was speedily taken to remove them from the team.
New carers are always given an induction into my wife's condition and are accompanied to our home by the care manager who keeps in regular contact about their performance and my wife's condition.
The carers see their role as not only looking after my wife but also looking after me. They happily blend into the household.
