My mother and the family is very happy with the care provided by Bellevie. The carers are exceptional. When she was ill last year they instantly stepped up and provided the extra care needed. It is peace of mind for her and the family that both her physical and emotional needs are being so well met.
Reply from Tom Deaville, Recruitment Lead at BelleVie (Oxford, Abingdon, Wantage, Witney, Kidlington)I'm glad the carers could step up like that when you needed them, that's great to hear! And about how happy you and your family are with the care they provide, thankyou!

Nothing is too much trouble. Even coming out on Christmas morning to help prepare mum for the celebration and treating Poppy the dog like a Princess. As things get harder for mum and the family, Heidii ( mum' s keyworker) is always by our side I'm not sure what this year will bring but we have no
regrets in choosing Belle Vie.
Reply from Tom Deaville, Recruitment Lead at BelleVie (Oxford, Abingdon, Wantage, Witney, Kidlington)I'm so pleased to hear that the team and particularly Heidi are there for you as things get a bit harder! Thankyou for your feedback!

I'm super happy with the support we receive from Belle Vie. They have taken our individual circumstances and requirements to heart and provided just the support that we need.We have both built a good relationship with the 2 carers that visit and we don't think of them as carers, but as non judgmental
friends who are always there when they say they will be.
Being new to this situation we didn't know what to expect and were worried that because we didn't need a lot of care as such, and just wanted companionship for 1 hour a week, this wouldn't be viable for Belle Vie. But they have been great and building the relationship now means we will be comfortable to increase days and hours if the need arises.
I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for care or companionship for yourself or a loved one.
Reply from Tom Deaville, Recruitment Lead at BelleVie (Oxford, Abingdon, Wantage, Witney, Kidlington)Thankyou so much for your recommendation, it's very much appreciation! And great to hear that we could tailor a package of support that fit everything you need!

BelleVie have been absolutely brilliant with Mum. The carers have all been great and I think the best compliment I can give is that Mum treats them all as friends. She really looks forward to the visits and always tells everyone about 'her girls'. Nothing is too much trouble and if Mum struggles
on certain days they often pop back to see how she is later in the day. Mum has had spells in Care Homes and the carers have also taken the time out to visit Mum to see how she is and have a chat.
BelleVie have been extremely reliable, professional and nothing is too much trouble. The feedback from BelleVie is thorough and we have regular reviews to discuss any further needs Mum may have or difficulties the Carers may have had with her.
The App is great and gives us a report following each visit - keeping us informed of how Mum is on a daily basis and any medical concerns that may require attention.
I would highly recommend BelleVie to anyone seeking a fantastic care team!!
Reply from Tom Deaville, Recruitment Lead at BelleVie (Oxford, Abingdon, Wantage, Witney, Kidlington)It's lovely to hear about the relationship that our carers have with your mum, thanks for letting us know! And for the wonderful recommendation!

We are very happy with the care my mother in law had from Bellevie. All staff were so kind and thoughtful and went the extra mile. They treated her as an individual and always stayed to chat . My mum in law really liked the staff too. If l was away, for example, and the staff noticed she was out of
milk or bread , they would pop back later with these items for her. I could go away knowing she was in safe hands. They wrote daily reports and their app was easy to access to read these reports. I would highly recommend Bellevie.

Over the past few years, my family got to know the BelleVie ladies caring for our parents really well. It's such a weight off your mind knowing the people you care about are receiving the best care. The attention to detail was fantastic as was seeing mum and dad form strong relationships with their
care team. And, through the app, the family never felt 'out of the loop' in matters relating to their welfare.
Thank you for providing both mum and dad with such fantastic support and care.

We have been extremely happy with the brilliant service the BelleVie team have provided for our uncle living with dementia. We have a wonderful team of carers that make sure my uncle is washed, dressed, fed, attends social activities, medical appointments and they also lift his spirits when they visit.
We have so much in place now to support my uncle, he really needed quite a lot of support and managing this from a distance has only been possible with the excellent service and attention to detail the BelleVie care team have provided. The App records every visit note and they can upload images, it was a joy to see my uncle with his Easter egg we organised and a big smile on his face. Our aim is to keep my uncle living independently for as long as possible and the BelleVie care team will make this happen. I would highly recommend BelleVie.

The Abingdon team at BelleVie has been looking after my mother in law for the past 8 months. From the very first assessment the team have been fantastic. My mother in law did not want care to start with but the team knew exactly how to interact with her, build her confidence with them and she really
enjoyed the visits. She felt like they were friends visiting.
The team were friendly, professional, prompt and most importantly they genuinely cared. It was like they have supported the whole family as due to her advanced dementia, she had some quirky behaviour which they easily took in their stride yet supported us in managing. Her keyworkers were amazing and responsive. I could call or message at any time and get quick responses. I loved having the app to see every day how my mother in law was and what she was doing. We built a great and trusting relationship. I would highly recommend BelleVie to anyone.

Myself, my brother and my mum are all delighted with the service supplied by Bellevie and in fact, our neighbours have also selected them for their care based on our recommendation. All the carers really care about my mum who has Alzheimer's. Her key worker is brilliant and communication always swift

I started using BelleVie care services early 2024 as I struggled with mental and physical health problems, needing holistic care. Since early 2024, I have experienced excellent personal and well-being care visits on a weekly basis. I feel safe, valued and happier knowing I can call on skilled, caring
and well-trained staff connected and offering holistic support. Nothing is too much trouble. Friends for life.

BelleVie came into our lives about eighteen months ago to support my husband as he struggled to cope when I was in hospital. Whenever he came to see me he would speak in glowing terms about "the lovely ladies." When I came home from hospital, I was in need of some care myself, so I too became a client
of the lovely ladies and discovered just how well those words describe them.
My husband is now in a residential nursing home but I am still receiving care from BelleVie and it makes all the difference to my strange new life. It's not just the professional way they go about their work, though that is exemplary, it's knowing that every day I will see somebody who will take time for me, help me with any problem I may have and chat with me like a friend. I enjoy getting to know them as people and they truly are lovely ladies.

I can’t rate BelleVie high enough. They have cared for Mum and Dad for a couple of years, nothing is ever too much trouble for any member of the team. We welcomed them into Mum and Dad's home and they very quickly became part of the family, they genuinely care deeply for Mum and Dad and the care they
offer is so amazing, they are all so kind, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They can always make Mum and Dad laugh and go out of their way to make time to sit and talk to them. They go above and beyond their role as a carer, they have supported me with hospital visits, advice on specialised equipment to enable Dad to come home from hospital safely, shopping, medication chasing from GPs and just being a shoulder to cry on when it all gets a bit too much. You can always get in contact with them, there are no silly answer phones. If you are looking for care for a loved one you will not find a care agency better than BelleVie. I would be completely lost without them.

BelleVie have been a big help to our almost-independent adult daughter. Not only do the carers diligently and cheerfully carry out the home-support tasks asked of them, they provide great personal support, showing a good understanding and appreciation of our daughter's particular needs and sensitivities.
The fact that they truly respect her views, feelings and opinions is a very pleasant change from some other institutions and professionals, and has had a very positive impact on her. The routine interaction with the diverse but unfailingly interesting and interested carers improves her mental health considerably, provides her with access to a wider range of life experiences and stabilises her daily/weekly routine.

I have only given four stars for Value for Money, but the improvement in her wellbeing is worth every penny!

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.842 for BelleVie (Oxford, Abingdon, Wantage, Witney, Kidlington) is calculated as follows: ( (84 Excellents x 5) + (7 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 95 Ratings = 4.842

  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
