The main reason for this review is to say thank you to all the carers for my friend as he fell ill with cancer in middle age whilst living on his own.
I found it amazing whenever I visited to find carers who not only accepted my friend as they found him but were open and generous with him. This was
so important to him during his illness when family were distant - even though neighbours were hugely supportive and other more distant friends only occasional.
The fact that these carers visited my friend in the hospices in their own time and also attended his funeral speaks volumes.
It was always a happy time with the carers present.
Thank you all again.

Emma has always worked in care and has 30 years of experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities. Emma has 2 grown up children and 2 grandchildren. She plays badminton every week and enjoys baking and watching most sports.
