I was thrilled to find Home Instead and to have the opportunity in the community that I have grown up in to be able to make a difference in the lives of the elderly. Having experienced caring for a close family member I know exactly how important good heartfelt care is.
I was attracted to Home Instead for its high-quality care and its ethos where the focus is on building a caring, trusting relationship between our client and our Care Professionals, which supports older people remaining living independently at home. We provide our clients with the very best support and will always work hard to make sure things are right for them. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, walk my dogs and read. I am also a trustee of the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales and I fundraise regularly for the children's hospital to help with providing play specialists, new equipment, refurbishments and much more.
High-quality care has a hugely positive impact on people's lives and it is something that I take pride in, it’s a real privilege to be part of a team that enhances people’s lives every day.
Pauline joined the Home Instead team in October 2020 as our Client Consultant. Pauline started her career with the NHS where she qualified as an Orthopedic Nurse and went on to qualify as an Occupational Therapist. Pauline used this qualification whilst working in the older adult’s community Mental Health Team.
From this Pauline moved into an HR role as a business partner in an engineering company. The Covid Pandemic gave Pauline time to reflect and decided to move back into the sector that she was passionate about.
Pauline utilises all her knowledge and experience to ensure our new clients get all their needs met. Pauline delivers the initial enquiry, consultation and assessment to ensure continuity for the client. Pauline did not realise how much she missed working in a caring profession and strongly believes that Home Instead offers a unique service, that is led by the clients and their needs.
