Home Instead provides a minimum of one-hour calls. Unlike other care providers, we do not provide shorter calls at uplifted rates. This means we can pay our staff fairly and our limited team of care professionals focus on the task at hand for the full duration of their visit, never cutting calls short. Care professionals are matched with their clients, and they follow a personalised care plan tailored to each client's needs.

We used this home-based care agency to take my mother out to appointments and on outings to access the local community. These trips were booked on an ad-hoc basis, sometimes at short notice (rather than being a regular pre-booked slot each week), so different staff came out to help, depending on availability. What impressed me most was that all the staff members that I met, or talked to over the telephone, were helpful, caring, friendly and reliable. I thought it impressive to have such consistency across the carers and was confident that whoever was available to help my mother would do a good job. My mother thoroughly enjoyed the carer's company whenever she went out.
Home Instead has been amazing. They are not your average care agency. My sister has six hours of help on a Thursday. Her carer is patient and helps her with swashing, shopping, preparing meals and recently bread making. It gives me a break, and my sister looks forward to her visits. Her carer is patent and kind. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend; try it for yourself. 5 stars.
Excellent supportive service.
We had an introductory meeting with the owner, who spent time talking to my father and asking him about his interests and how he liked to spend his time. We then had a follow-up meeting with my father's main caregiver, who, I'm delighted to say, he gets on with very well and looks forward to seeing every morning.
The owner of Home Instead matched my father's needs accurately to his caregiver. It's great that he sees the same person for the majority of the week and so receives consistent care. I also like the fact that my father's carer is with him for an hour, which gives them time to complete the required personal care tasks and also time to talk. My father has really enjoyed this part of the care. It has been lovely for me to see him well looked after, and his needs for care and communication very well met. Thank you, Home Instead!
They have helped us through a very difficult period with Mum with kindness and consideration - even out of hours and we can't thank them enough.
Mum was aways pleased to see the carer and said she made her laugh. She cooked Mum breakfast, made sure she was dressed and comfortable and had time to talk to Mum. There was always a written synopsis of care given.
Excellent service very caring carers always on time.
I was very unsure which road to go down when I needed to get help for my dad who has Alzheimer's and Home Instead were recommended to me. For the last two weeks, the service they provide had been brilliant for my father. They keep notes on Dad every day so I can see how he is doing and for the first time in months I know my dad is safe in their hands. Absolutely amazing.
Very satisfied with my carers and impressed with the staff and company and although I don't have to, I would not hesitate to return if necessary.
Thankyou for the lovely review. We are so happy to see you get back to your usual self over the last few months!
I would have no hesitation in recommending this service provider.
I have been using the service for about 3 months. I have found Home Instead to be flexible, very friendly and highly professional. I am pleased to recommend this company.
I'm so grateful to the team for helping us out at such short notice and for all the support that you've given me, alongside caring for Mum.
With gratitude.
