Meet the Team (3)
Sophia has been working for Mulberry Home Care Services for over 6 years. Sophia started her career in care as a valued member of our Home Care team and worked her way up the career ladder to the Care manager role. Sophia has undertaken her QCF in Health and Social Care level 3 and is working towards her level 5. Sophia has the Train the Trainer award in Medication and Moving and Handling.
Sophia has a great passion for people and so much compassion and empathy for the Service Users we look after.
Mercedes has over 33 years of experience in Care, 24 of which are based in the Domiciliary care sector. Mercedes started her career as a Carer working in a nursing Home for the elderly.
Mercedes has worked with a wide range of Service User groups from adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health difficulties, the elderly, Dementia, end-of-life care and many other health conditions that may impact a person’s ability to manage their own Home and personal care needs. Mercedes's goals have always been to deliver a high standard of care to the Service Users and their families.Mercedes has designed and implemented staff training to ensure staff are trained for the role they are undertaking.
Mercedes has worked with two new start-up companies and introduced policies and procedures, and training and laid down the foundations for them to continue growing and be a successful business. Both companies have grown under her leadership.
Our Home Carers are all kind, caring, compassionate and reliable. They are the face of the company and we are truly proud of them.
All Home Carers are DBS checked and have undergone Mulberry Home Cares' extensive induction training when they first joined the company.
All carers have business class A car insurance and are able to support our Service Users to attend social events, hospital appointments, go shopping and be part of the local community.
