The carers that visit mum are so friendly and patient with her and we notice much improvement in her mood just in the last few weeks. Since reluctantly giving up her driving licence she has lost much of her independence but the carers now take her out in the car and she goes shopping so that she can choose her own groceries. I live two hours away from my mother and my brother is a full-time carer himself, Right At Home gives us peace of mind. Communication is excellent from the care package for my mother to the visit reports on the App OpenPass which can be viewed shortly after the visit.
Thank you for this lovely review. We are so pleased you see an uplift in your mum's mood. The carers are thoroughly enjoying visiting. Prompting and enabling your mum to do things for herself. The shopping visits are enjoyable, especially when mum says I don’t need anything, yet chooses a shopping...
Excellent. Cannot be faulted.
Thank you. It means a lot to us to receive feedback from our clients. I will of course let your team of carers know you are happy with the support and that you've kindly put it into words. They always say they enjoy the good conversation and the daily laughs they have with you. A lovely first call, to start the day off with a smile!
Both my wife and I are in our 70th year. We are not disabled but my wife suffers from vascular dementia and I have some heart problems. The help and attention offered by the carers have been happily accepted by my wife and has made my life possible. We are fortunately in a position of being able to afford it. It has made my life possible.
Thank you, Hugh, for such a lovely positive review. It's so nice to hear that our support helps to make life a bit easier. The team of carers love engaging with you both. Getting to know the family has helped to provide a full background for likes and dislikes and enables us to be truly person-centred. I can't wait to tell your team of carers about this review! Thank you.
Always cheerful and helpful! Will take on any tasks. Answer and make phone calls including Doctors and District Nurses. Leaves kitchen etc in excellent state. Would not do without your help!
Audrey, we love supporting you. Thank you so much for your lovely review. Our carers enjoy helping you to maintain your independence. We always look forward to our visits with you!
General day to day help and companionship is excellent.
Thank you. We all enjoy supporting you. The carers really enjoy the lovely conversations whilst keeping up your mobility with daily walks in the countryside and shopping in the town.
I couldn't be happier with Right At Home (Welwyn, Hatfield & St Albans) care for my parents. I truly know they care for my family. Over and over again, they go above and beyond to make schedules, visits and trips to the doctors work for my parents. On one occasion, an early morning call was needed to help my father prepare for transportation and our lovely carer offered up right away to come early in the morning to help him be ready in time. I live far away from my parents and the ease of mind knowing that they and we have such caring individuals who come in twice a day to care for my parents helps me sleep at night. It is like having family taking care of my Mum and Dad. My Mum has said regarding her carers that she loves them! My Mother is always telling me what they got done together that day and how great she feels to have chores and companionship. From the owners to our carers, everyone I have met couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. I know my parents have been well looked after.
Thank you Pauline for your lovely comments. The carers don't feel like they are at work when they are with your Mum and Dad. It really is like home from home. We don't do things for them, we do things with them and this makes our visits so rewarding. Supporting what they can do for themselves and...
The carers I have met have all been charming, polite, helpful and very good with my Godmother. They have taken time to chat, take an interest in her and make her feel good. As it is early days with my contact with Right at Home (Welwyn, Hatfield & St Albans) I cannot comment further but am very happy as to how it is all working out.
Thank you, Susan. Yes, early days at the moment, and we appreciate how difficult it is to begin with allowing caregivers to support. The trust and rapport are building and routines are forming. Hopefully, we will give you peace of mind that daily needs are attended to and companionship brings...
I appreciate having the same regular carers. I can get to know them well and they get to know me very well too. The carers fit right in within our home environment which is great and we feel very at ease with them.
Good to hear from you Gordon. Carers have a smile on their faces after every call. They love the laughter and banter they have with you. I really do think you have got to know our carers as much as they have got to know you. It's great that we also have got to know your lovely family too, and via technology, we can commutate around the world! Keep smiling Gordon.
Post my operation for the hip replacement, I had a lot of care from Right at Home (Welwyn, Hatfield & St Albans). They did some shopping, some cleaning and ironing. In recent years I have come to terms with my condition, I manage to do the cleaning and ironing myself now and receive my shopping online. So what I value most with the carers is companionship, it is really nice to have contact with the carers, being in isolation. I think you are all marvellous.
Thank you, Rosemary. It's a pleasure to support you. I know your team of carers look forward to the visits and listening and sharing stories of past experiences. Now that lockdown is starting to relax we look forward to joining you for a walk in the sunshine too!
When first seeking advice for care for my father the company were very helpful. My father and I felt very comfortable at the first meeting. The carers that have assisted my dad, have been very thoughtful to his daily needs and very professional. Being able to read the carers reports each day has been excellent. Communication is excellent.
Thank you for your kind comments, Lynda. The Caregivers love visiting your Dad. On the good days enabling him to do things for himself and on other days being a listening ear, sharing conversation. I know Dad was apprehensive to start with, but it didn't take him long to get to know the carers and enjoy their company and support. Giving you peace of mind, knowing all is fine whilst you are working.
One of the things I like about having a carer is the companionship I enjoy. They are always ready to help but never intrude. I am lucky in having carers I feel I know. Fortunately, I seem to have the ones who feel they know me and my husband, so we don't have to worry and my children have peace of mind, thank goodness.
Thank you for your kind words Eve, it has been a delight to look after you and your husband over the past few years and I know your carers love coming to support you both. You have a lovely family both here and abroad and it is great that with digital technology we can keep them in the loop easily.
I have received home care support for myself and my growing family for the best part of 20 years and have experienced a fair few care companies in Hertfordshire as a result. It has taken me a long time to find a company where I feel completely comfortable in my skin and in my home to be around. I am very blessed in the fact that I am more than capable of communicating the needs of myself and my teenagers and as life dictates these can change quickly as things evolve. The line of communication between myself, the carers and the office is second to none and nothing is ever a problem. It is also important to note (from my perspective anyway) that Right at Home are also the only care company that I have dealt with that handle life on a case by case basis and have no hidden agenda at play which is to me a complete breath of fresh air and I can't thank them enough.
Thank you, Niki. We thoroughly enjoy supporting you and helping out with the daily household chores. Enabling you to concentrate on your family, and give you time to focus on your own life-time goals, for which I know, you will forever be determined to achieve, as you are an amazing independent lady!
I would have no hesitation in recommending Right at Home to anyone with regards to the services and attention they provide. Not only are they professional in the care, but kind and thoughtful in the manner they provide it. In all my dealings I have never had a cause for concern, and this is not only a great relief to me, but I know my Mother appreciates it too.
Andrew, thank you so much for your lovely comments and feedback about our team. Our team of caregivers that visit, enjoy their time with your Mum, helping with daily domestic chores, companionship and assistance with personal care when needed. I wonder if we can help to plant and grow more lettuces...
Extremely satisfied with all carers.
Dear Rosalie, it is a please to support you each day; I know our carers really enjoy spending time with you.
I made sure I researched to find an outstanding company, and this is what I've found. Very happy with the care or my mum.
Thank you, Wendy, we are delighted that you are very happy with your mother's care. We look forward to continuing to support her.
Right at Home carers have been absolutely excellent. They have cared for my mother and in turn provided respite for my father. They have, without exception shown compassion and tenderness in the care they have provided and brought sunshine and companionship into the house during this bleak time. The company has also supported me in finding and transitioning to residential respite care. I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking care for their family.
Thank you Alette for your lovely review. It has been a delight looking after your parents and we wish your mother well in her new residence.
We are very pleased to have Right at Home providing care for my mother. The carers are very good and take time to make sure she is set up for the day and she gets on well with them. We also have a good relationship with the management team who keep us well informed, particularly helpful as we live some distance away. We also have the confidence that medical assistance is called if it is needed.
Thank you Alan, we are glad that your mother is getting on well with our carers and that our service is also giving you peace of mind knowing that she is being looked after very well.
The carers are professional and competent. They are also charming and it seems as if they are truly vocational as opposed to just doing the job. The management are extremely helpful as well as being very aware of safety issues.
Thank you, for your appreciative review. I'm glad you feel that it's more than just a job for our carers. We make sure everyone who we employment passes the "Mum" test so we know they will look after you just as well as they would their own family members.
Overall we are very happy with the service supplied by Right at Home. The care staff are absolutely brilliant. We are grateful for both the support and quality of care. Thank you so much to everyone at Right at Home.
Thank you for your review, I know the carers enjoy looking after your family members.
We used Right at Home, Hemel Hempstead when my mother-in-law needed care. It made sense to continue with the franchise when my parents needed some help. The Welwyn franchise’s response to my request was fantastic and I was fortunate that they had the capacity to meet my parents' needs quickly. The carers are lovely and my parents and I are so grateful for all their help. What I really find important is that Right at Home can provide (subject to having the staff available) care from an hour or so a day right up to 24-hour live-in care.
It's nice to have someone experience the high levels of service from more than one Right at Home office.
