We have always found the care excellent, and the carers show respect and help my father to live an independent life. They always show patients and have a smile for him when they are here. They show a genuine interest in him and encourage him with his daily activities.

All the carers were extremely professional but maintained an important person in my dads daily life, he enjoyed their visits and they always took time to chat and listen to my dad. They would always contact me if there was a problem and were very flexible if things weren’t working or things changed. I highly recommend them.

I have nothing but praise for Right at Home. The carers are all excellent and all management/office staff are friendly, professional and extremely responsive. The carers arrive when expected and have without fail looked after mum and met her needs well. Their excellent, reliable help has enabled me to carry on working knowing that she is safe and well looked after. I have already recommended them several times to people asking about care at home providers.

Following a heart attack, my Mother (92) returned home from hospital weaker, more tired, more vulnerable, less mobile and less able to look after herself physically. She remained however as bright as a button mentally and was determined to remain at home.

From the moment Right at Home came to assess the kind and amount of care my mother would need, my sister and I were impressed by the professionalism, thoroughness, empathy and respect they exuded. Indeed, over the following weeks both the manager who organises the carer roster each week and the carers themselves proved to fantastic in the help they provided: her personal needs, helping her get up and washed, preparing 3 meals a day and getting her ready for bed. They are all very conscientious and will help mum in a number of ways in addition to their duties. They spend time chatting as well. They always look out for Mum's health, contacting us whenever they feel concerned. Both my sister and I feel very fortunate to have found them.

My carer who has been coming for eight months now is caring and always makes me laugh. She makes me laugh. She makes my bed, changes the Duvet and washes the dishes. I would be very sad without her.

The Team at Right at Home looked after my Father in his home with 4 nursing visits a day for well over a year. They showed a friendly compassion to both me and my Father as his dementia worsened and through several illnesses which meant taking him to hospital on a number of occasions. They not only cared for his physical needs but built a relationship with him and showed a genuine interest in him and his past memories. I am sure this helped him greatly, it certainly helped me cope with my Father's condition. I can not praise them enough. Now at 95, he has had to move nearer to me and on into full-time care. I will miss the team. My sincere thanks. He is still able to enjoy some life thanks I am sure to the efforts of the Team.

Dear Jonathan, it was a real pleasure to look after your father as he is such a lovely gentleman and I know one of our special carers has built a strong relationship with him. We know it was the right move for him to go to a home near to yourself.

Thank you for keeping in touch and sending us photos. He looks very well and happy and we love hearing how he is doing.

We continue to be very pleased with the service from Right at Home. The care has been of consistently high quality and it is reassuring to my wife that she always sees someone she has already been introduced to. Also appreciated is the advice on additional aids to mobility and care we have received from them.

First class service really putting the client first 24/7. Caring, friendly, attentive and concerned carers deliver efficient and consistent support for my father. But more than that, I really feel that this team put my father's interests first, both for today and also for the future by always looking for ways to improve the quality of his daily life. Communication with direct family from the management is excellent. This team definitely contributes to my father's ongoing good spirits and daily comfort. Thank you Right At Home.

Right at Home have been very responsive and understanding about my mum's needs. She has the same carer who is friendly, who has built a good relationship with my mum and who is very consistent. They have been very easy to communicate with and seem to be a smaller, friendly, client-focused service, which offers highly personalised care.

Reply from Keith Sheena, Director at Right at Home (Welwyn, Hatfield & St Albans)
