Excellent service.
Comfort Care has been visiting our parents since September last year. The manager impressed with the thoroughness of her initial visits and through the care she took to listen and respond to client needs.
The carers are friendly and helpful and communication is excellent - both with clients and with family members. Any changes to the schedule are always well-signalled in advance.

The management team are also friendly, responsive and knowledgeable - always happy to review care provisions or make time to jump on a call if anything needs extra discussion. We feel very confident in Comfort Care and are hoping to increase visits over time in step with our parents' needs.

Comfort care at home has only been caring for my elderly father for two weeks. I knew my father needed care but was very nervous that he would refuse care. But right from the first meeting the owner and care team showed such understanding and care towards my father and family. They have taken some of the pressure off my family by caring in such a professional way and have helped to contact other professionals to help. They are a great comfort to my mother as she has a lovely daily chat with the care team. I would highly recommend Comfort care at home.

Our family were very lucky to be recommended to Comfort Care At Home, this was our first encounter with the care industry and thus fearful of how we could manage this service. This matter was taken out of our hands by the senior staff who explained the process in detail and helped us improve the home environment from a safety and lifestyle perspective.
She has received excellent continuous service from the team and particular attention is given to the relationship and confidence for her and hence any changes to the team or service. The small details such as the Christmas gift and family WhatsApp group are very inclusive and reassuring that the best intentions are promised and delivered.

We highly recommend and thank Comfort Care!

I've no experience with other healthcare providers, so I can't compare Comfort Care At Home with others. However, I would recommend them to any family who needs care for their loved ones.
They are very professional and take standards and processes seriously, sometimes to my frustration, but that just shows that it is my family member that is the important one not placating me. They've rules and procedures set in place to protect us, them and the person being cared for, and they stick to them, which is reassuring.
There are times when they have stepped in to help us and did stuff that is above and beyond what you would expect.
It is clear that there are strong lines of communication and leadership throughout the company, from bottom to top. I would have no concern if one day, one of my relative's sessions was being performed by the owner of the company because they aren't just a management team; they are carers themselves.

Regular daily communication is so helpful.

Comfort Care at Home continued this month to provide excellent care for my mum. She had tested positive for Covid and was feeling tired, low in energy and generally unwell. The team dealt so well with Mum, keeping us updated on progress each day.

I would also like to mention the days out they have arranged in recent months, which have allowed Mum the opportunity to get out during the week to experience something new.

The daily visit provides great support to my elderly mother and provides her with company. The cheerful attitude of the carers keeps her going and their help in monitoring medication and food stuff is of invaluable help to myself along with doing her exercises with her to keep her mobile. Any issues or concerns are quickly fed back to me which helps as it means that at least one person has seen her daily and along with arranging the occasional trip out it all helps to keep her active.

Comfort Care At Home had been caring for my father for several years following a cancer operation, and subsequent illnesses. We were recommended them through our GP and from the first visit, to when he sadly passed away last September the care provided has been exemplary. Always very professional and reliable, but with passion and genuine interest for my father. They always went the extra mile to be helpful and often carried out extra tasks that weren't part of the package, but helped us immensely, such as lifts to GPs, visits to hospitals and odd bits of shopping when needed. All of the care team became more like friends rather than a service provider and this made my Dads situation far more comfortable and bearable, and was a huge help to me and my sister as we both work and couldn't spend as much time as we would have liked with Dad. This was our first experience with having to deal with this kind of situation, and wouldn't hesitate recommending the company to anyone.

We used Comfort Care At Home agency for my Father for several years and were always completely happy with the service provided. We found them all to be highly professional, dedicated and friendly individuals who always went beyond the call of duty when required. They maintained constant communication with me providing full peace of mind that he was always in good hands and all needs were monitored. They provided medical knowledge and full understanding of the difficulties of being housebound both physically and mentally, often offering solutions for particular situations and issues. They were invaluable to his continued care support and maintained his ability to remain living in the family home. He spoke fondly of them all and we never had any complaints about them, only constant praise, trust and gratitude. We couldn’t have managed without such a reliable, approachable and caring team to guide and assist us throughout my Dads last years. I wouldn’t ever hesitate in recommending them.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Your dad inspired us in many ways and we launched activities with clients based on needs he had that were not fulfilled by the day centres. We are grateful for the laughter and his sweet smile when we entered his room each morning. Thank you for trusting us with his care.

The service offered by this company is second to none. The girls are all kind and helpful and whatever they are asked to do they do so willingly. We are completely satisfied with Comfort Care at Home. The company and owner recently organised a Coronation celebration for all the clients. It was wonderful! Everyone went home with a gift bag and very special memories.

Comfort Care at Home have been looking after my proud and obstinate 97-year-old mother since autumn 2018 and their involvement with her has gradually increased as her mobility has decreased - she is now completely bedridden. They now visit her 4x daily as double-up care to support and guide her live-in care. They have been indefatigable in fighting her corner through the labyrinth of medical care (OTs, district nurses, GPs) - even when she was in hospital and respite care - they know her needs better than I do, provide invaluable support and guidance to the live-in carers, and are the one constant in her (and my) life whom I totally trust to see to her needs with kindness, respect and compassion. Thank goodness for Comfort Care at Home - they feel like a vital part of our family.

I am so pleased that we found Comfort Care At Home to provide weekly care for my wife who has Alzheimer's.
The staff employed were top rate as was the level of care.
The manager was always available to back up the staff and showed genuine concern for both my wife and myself, even liaising with other family members and our GP.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Comfort Care.

What inspired me to found Comfort Care At Home®? I grew up in a household living with my grandmother and an aunt who had certain physical disabilities. I witnessed the importance of home care professionals first-hand and the impact they had on my family’s quality of life and peace of mind. My personal experience helped me shape what high-quality care should be: from the caring and kind-hearted staff we recruit to the standards to which we work. I wanted to help older people live happily and safely in their own homes longer, and this is why I launched my company.

I have a Masters Degree in Business Administration in Marketing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I have worked for a number of years in the pharmaceutical industry, specialising in conditions and diseases many older people are living with, such as diabetes, nutrition disorders, cancers, and many more. I am a Dementia Friends Ambassador and committed to making a positive difference to people living with dementia.

I have always enjoyed being involved in the community, from volunteering to raising money for charities. I was appointed as a Trustee for Re-Engage, a charity that works within communities to end social isolation and loneliness in older people.

Simra Ahmad

I joined the company recently as the Digital Marketing and Office Assistant. I completed a Master’s Degree in Graphic Design and was initially hired to devise and implement the digital marketing strategy. I have taken on additional responsibilities such as finding kind and caring staff to join our team and supporting the office team with administrative tasks.

I have a huge passion for the art of writing; I have written content for charities along with a radio station. I believe that knowledge is power, and this is why I am writing two children’s books to encourage young minds to read and be critical thinkers.

Seeing the impact that Comfort Care At Home® has in the local community, I decided to undergo training to be a Care Professional along with my other roles within the company. I enjoy working with such a supportive and fun team and embrace the goal of the company to put a smile on people’s faces.
