Comfort Care At Home is an award-winning and local domiciliary care provider, working to support and provide high-quality care for people in their own homes.

Their goal is to help your loved ones to stay happily in their own homes for longer. They promote their independence whilst supporting them with the tasks they are no longer able to do alone.

They chase your healthcare professionals such as GPs and district nurses to get appointments and referrals, and they keep your loved ones safe by managing the ordering, disposing and inventory of their medication.

Comfort Care At Home uses the latest technology solutions to monitor their well-being, which can be viewed by you and them anywhere around the world. They receive alerts immediately on their system if your loved one refuses medication or won’t eat.

Wonderful care for my mum in her last few months. The care team are reliable, kind, incredibly trustworthy and a joy to have in our home. They were incredibly supportive at a very difficult time for our family, which included my dad of 91 who was losing his wife of 65 years and my children. So many
generations to deal with, other than my Mum who had complex health care issues. Great care for my mum in her last few months. As I was so happy with the care my mum received with we are using them again and they are as great as ever. They now provide companionship care for my father who has Alzheimer’s. I am working from home and just don’t have the time to give him the attention he needs.

If I may not use names how can I say how happy and pleased I am with care supplied by the young lady who looked after my wife (mornings assistance washing, dressing, breakfast etc.) until she moved into a nursing home in August 2020.

The service supplied is excellent. My parents have the same carer every week which is great and she is very good and they like her very much. The support provided by the Director is also excellent. She gets involved proactively and helped navigate the care system effectively. She is always very helpful,

This agency looked after my father for the last 18 months of his life and made a huge difference to his welfare in that period. All of the team demonstrated considerable patience, care and understanding with his deteriorating condition and needs. They also made a big difference for my mother who was

This agency has been looking after my Mum for almost 15 months over which time they have always been punctual, courteous and respectful. As a family, last year was stressful to say the least and after experiencing some very poor care for our mother, we were delighted to find this care agency. They have been caring and professional from the start. Communication between the carers and family is outstanding and all queries are dealt with
quickly and efficiently by the management team. My mum feels comfortable and relaxed with each of the carers who treat her with genuine warmth and dignity. She looks forward to their visits throughout the day and we are very grateful for their ongoing and cheerful presence!

I only have praise for this care agency. The manager and carers are excellent at keeping me informed of any issues that arise. They are proactive, they take my uncle to hospital and doctor appointments, contact and chase the doctors and pharmacy on his behalf as well as performing intimate care needs
and cook meals. They go the extra mile and really care about him as an individual.

Assistance for myself and partner. The detail of the care is primarily governed by my partner and is related to care in our home. The help received relates to cooking and light tidying and has generally been very satisfactory with the carers receptive to our comments and suggestions.

My mother and I worked with this agency over Jan - March 2019 due to my Mother's Dementia, they were always very professional, kind, courteous and on time. The team have immeasurably improved my mother’s quality of life. They are proactive, practical and immensely caring. Shamsah Lalji

Job Title: Director Joined: 2018
What inspired me to found Comfort Care At Home®? I grew up in a household living with my grandmother and an aunt who had certain physical disabilities. I witnessed the importance of home care professionals first-hand and the impact they had on my family’s quality of life and peace of mind. My personal experience helped me shape what high-quality care should be: from the caring and kind-hearted staff we recruit to the standards to which we work. I wanted to help older people live happily and safely in their own homes longer, and this is why I launched my company.

I have a Masters Degree in Business Administration in Marketing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I have worked for a number of years in the pharmaceutical industry, specialising in conditions and diseases many older people are living with, such as diabetes, nutrition disorders, cancers, and many more. I am a Dementia Friends Ambassador and committed to making a positive difference to people living with dementia.

I have always enjoyed being involved in the community, from volunteering to raising money for charities. I was appointed as a Trustee for Re-Engage, a charity that works within communities to end social isolation and loneliness in older people.
