Overall Experience

Radfields go above and beyond when it comes to caring for me. The management are caring and super happy to help out with any issue I might have. They are thorough and very professional when it comes to ensuring all equipment is up-to-date and serviced. The carers themselves are all highly trained and thoroughly delightful. I enjoy all of the different characters and probably spent too much time chatting with them but they are all so friendly and easy to talk to. I cannot fault Radfields I sing their praisers to anybody I come across who is in need of a care company.

my mother in law has been using Radfield for some time now .The staff are excellent , the management has been superb, meeting her changing needs. she is exceptionally well taken care of and as a family we are kept informed . MIL is happy , comfortable , and thriving at home. It gives us as a family ,peace of mind knowing that she is with people who care not just for MIL but for the whole family dynamic. if anyone looking for home care i would highly recommend Radfield Care

Overall Experience
After being discharged from hospital after a cardiac syncope. Advice given, have professional help, as living alone.
Rang Radfield Home Care and was immediately given all reassurance to proceed after a home visit. At first for three times a week for washing and bed changing.
I would like to say how kind, considerate needs were taken by all carers.

Now my health has improved, it gives me the confidence to know who I ask for help and advice when needed.

Overall Experience

Excellent service provided by the whole team. My mother found the carers kind and caring. The admin team were prompt and approachable. My mother only required temporary assistance following a knee replacement operation but we would definitely use the team again if needed.

The care received by my dad is first class, friendly and professional. Staff gives you confidence that he is being looked after. The Harrogate office is first class with all required changes carried out in a professional and confident manner. Nothing is a problem for anyone working there.

Radfield Care looks after both my Mum and Dad and they are exceptional at what they do!

Overall Experience
Radfield Care looked after my mum after a fall that resulted in a fractured humerus and reduced mobility and confidence.
A particular member of staff was fantastic in organising and helping at short notice and putting the overnight care into action and the two carers were very kind and caring to my mum.

Great service and would highly recommend it.

Overall Experience

I have a C4 incomplete spinal injury. Radfield has matched me with a handful of great carers that I have good relationships with. They assist with showering, give me stretches, and dress me. We go for regular walks and they will help with shopping, cooking, collecting prescriptions, etc. If extra visits are required they do their best to accommodate. I would highly recommend it.

Overall Experience

My sister and I very much appreciate the care and compassion shown to Mum and Dad. Staff have always gone above and beyond including recently when Dad was poorly and ended up in ICU. Although not cared for directly by Radfield, they contacted us meaning we could get Dad the care he urgently needed. I would not hesitate in recommending Radfield, would describe the care as outstanding.

Overall Experience
This is our second use of Radfield Home Care. The first time was July 2022 - November 2022 when my brother-in-law was first home from a nursing home until he fell and was hospitalised.

They have been acceptable in every way, especially the manager and partner who have gone above and beyond.

Overall, we have found the carers to be considerate and kind, always treating my husband with dignity and respect. They are meticulous in the care they give him and do not cut corners to save time, always giving him the time he needs. My husband has a good sense of humour, and in general, they will enjoy a little banter and a joke with him.

The carers were, without exception, helpful, supportive and sympathetic - especially since I was keen to do as much as I could myself but with their help. I cannot fault the service and would recommend Radfield to anyone requiring care support.

Matthew Nutting

Matthew holds a vast amount of experience in the care sector. After qualifying in 2012 as an Occupational Therapist, he has worked in a variety of community based roles in both the NHS and private sector and more recently has been the manager of Harrogate and Ripon’s community nursing and therapy teams.

Not only is Matthew a health care professional, but he is also a proud husband of a registered nurse. Health care is their family business, and Matthew is not only passionate about providing quality client centred care but also dedicated to providing a market-leading workplace for carers.

Matthew has always been committed and passionate about providing high quality care to individuals, however, he is always keen to look at new ways of enhancing and enriching people’s lives and creating memories that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Liz Morritt Job Title: Care Manager Joined: 2019
Liz Morritt

Liz has 20 years of experience working in the care sector in a variety of roles including volunteer, support worker, senior support worker and in 2006 became the registered manager of a residential home for adults with learning disabilities. This position afforded Liz the opportunity to really make a difference to the residents and staff by ensuring they were at the heart of everything they did.

Liz joined Radfield Home Care Harrogate, Wetherby and North Yorkshire in March 2018 as she felt it was time for a new challenge and had heard very positive feedback about Radfield.

Liz explains, “My aim is to support the growth of the business whilst maintaining the ‘family values’ that Radfield Home Care pride themselves on, and continuing to develop a highly skilled staff team who deliver high quality, personalised care."

Outside of work Liz enjoys cooking, spending time with her partner and their daughter and catching up with friends and family.

Leah Coates
Leah has worked in the care sector for almost 10 years, working mainly as a support worker. Leah also has experience working in many different care environments, supporting people who live with dementia, learning disabilities, complex needs, challenging behaviour and mental health needs.

Leah explains, “After having my son and going back to work part-time for just over a year I decided it was time for a new challenge and progress my career in the care sector.”

Leah joined Radfield Home Care Harrogate, Wetherby and North Yorkshire in July 2018 as a care supervisor and a few months into that role, progressed to care coordinator and then Deputy Manager completing her ‘Assessors Award’ soon after.

Leah explains, “I am passionate about supporting people to stay in their own homes as long as possible and the care we provide is second to none! It was the best decision I made joining Radfield Home Care as the training has been the best I have ever had, and I am learning new skills all the time.”

Leah oversees the timings and quality of care delivered to our clients and ensures that everything is working smoothly.

What has inspired you to want to be involved in the adult social care sector?

Seeing my grandma transition from independence to relying on others gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of quality care.
