I am so pleased that I chose Plum Care to care for my mum. The best compliment I can give is that it is like having family take care on your behalf. It gives me total peace of mind that all of my mum's needs are being taken care of with a patient smile. Nothing is ever too much and the team provide a great combination of professionalism and friendliness.
PlumCare is a fantastic service that has allowed my dad to maintain the best possible quality of life and independence. After an initial consultation, the manager, who demonstrated an outstanding level of knowledge and expertise, devised a tailor-made service that was specific to my dad’s needs and the things we wanted. We knew right away we were in good hands. The standard of care has been consistently excellent and the carers are genuinely supportive, professional, friendly and compassionate. The Leadership of the company understand the difficulties a family wrestle with when faced with the dilemma of managing the demands of life and the needs of an ageing parent with complex health needs. PlumCare has been amazing and has provided us with professional support and reassurances right from the get go. They have allowed us to have some much needed respite and given us peace of mind. They truly are representative of what homecare should be about. PlumCare is the right care!
PlumCare have provided exceptional service caring for my elderly father. Always punctual and giving excellent care services and we think the prices are more than reasonable. They help my father get up and about in the morning and then visit later in the day to help him with dinner and getting ready for bed. They certainly contribute to his well being and happiness and we would be pleased to recommend them to others.
PlumCare has been caring for my elderly mother since she was discharged from hospital in September. They were able to start visits at very short notice and keep me up to date with everything as I don't live locally to my mum. My mum also has dementia and her regular carer is fantastic with her, so patient and great at communicating with her. My mum's care is so personal to her, her likes and dislikes are accounted for which is important as her dementia worsens.
PlumCare's attention to detail has been very encouraging, also I receive regular updates of how things are progressing which helps me as I am not able to visit on a regular basis.
I now have piece of mind in knowing that my cousin is receiving excellent care. I do not have the worry as to whether a carer will attend or not, as was the case prior to rehabilitation.
I can wholeheartedly recommend PlumCare for any services that is required (They seem to go the extra mile).
I am extremely impressed with the diligence and attention to detail that Plum Care have provided for my elderly mother. They are proactive when it comes to managing issues and have kept in daily contact with her family to fine-tune the care package. They are keen to discuss new ideas for helping my mother with her eating habits and personal hygiene and responsive to our requests for certain things that need to be done around the home. The carer is obviously very experienced with dementia patients and they have made a special effort to build a relationship of trust with my mother and to encourage her to accept their help when she has been reluctant to do so.
I have no difficulty in recommending their services to anyone who seeks specialist dementia care.
