We cannot thank the team at Home Instead Burbage enough for the care and kindness they showed to our Nanna.

The admin staff were always supportive, organised and compassionate, with excellent communication throughout.

Nanna was initially reluctant about having "companions", but that quickly changed thanks to her wonderful carers, Steph and Zoe. They didn't just provide care - they built a genuine friendship with her. Nanna truly looked forward to their visits and loved their company.

They were always punctual, kept us updated, and were quick to notice changes in Nanna's condition, which we really appreciated. Their positivity and warmth meant so much to our whole family.

They even visited Nanna in hospital, which showed just how much they truly cared.

Steph and Zoe made a real difference to Nanna's final chapter and we will always be incredibly grateful.

The Homestead staff & care professionals have always taken care of my father very well. Nothing asked is too much trouble for them. They are all lovely people and often go above and beyond. I have recommended Homestead to other people and they are now using them too. Thank you to all for your care and compassion.

I have nothing but praise for Home Instead. The care-pros, the office staff and management are all wonderful and have improved the quality of my Mum's life incredibly. My Mum really looks forwards to the visits, nothing is too much trouble and I feel content that my Mum is receiving the highest level of care while being able to remain in her own home.

Home Instead is an excellent company giving a first-class service to my disabled sister.

Choosing a care provider for my dad was a daunting experience. But choosing Home Instead was the best decision I have made. The support they give is excellent. They are professional but genuinely friendly and give the best support. Management is great and introduced the carers beforehand to start building a trusting relationship. My dad has the same regular carers at a time that suits his needs and wishes. He is given as much independence as possible. On a final note, during a medical incident, the carer stayed until help arrived and she followed all procedures. Management also followed up with a call to ensure Dad was ok.

I am very happy with the care I receive. I am never rushed and they help me with whatever I ask, if they are able to. The carers are lovely and friendly. They also respect my dignity during care. I am happy that I have the same regular carers and not different ones each week.

The care provided has been of a very high standard. The client is comfortable and well-supported. Nothing is too much trouble and the carer takes everything in her stride. I am able to take a break without worrying and have total trust in the carer. The excellent quality of support has made it possible for me to keep the client at home.

The service provided to my father has been excellent, caring, and reliable. I appreciate the comfort the carer has brought to my dad during her work at his property. On the other hand, I feel a little let down by the office side of Home Instead. We received a standard invoice for February 2024 which was for 4 visits when in fact only 3 were made. I emailed, and phoned (twice) and never received written confirmation that the invoice would be amended in line with reality - only a message after my second phone call. I think Home Instead should improve their communications on this subject.

Carer always arrives with a smile and is efficient at duties. I appreciate this and her personality. Having reviewed alternative agencies so pleased I chose Home Instead. If these standards are carried out each time, then the agency should prosper.

I had to find a local company who could provide care support for my sister who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and through the Internet found Home Instead. I have not looked back since starting last September and my sister has built an excellent rapport with her carers. I am micro-managing her life from 400 miles away but get support when needed so no complaints from myself. Recently had a review with them to discuss the way forward and have come up with a plan involving more visits. As you can tell very happy with the service being provided and in the knowledge it can be extended as and when required.

The registered care manager and the team were amazing at facilitating our needs for my mum. After reading some of the horror stories when looking for care for my mum, Home Instead promised to visit at the times we wanted, with regular carers and provided exceptional care. They delivered beyond my expectations and I can’t thank them enough for their genuine care and support.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for better care for my mother-in-law. It was like leaving her in the loving hands of a family member. The overall care, attention, dignity and respect shown was nothing short of outstanding and we honestly can’t thank the team enough.

My sister and I are so grateful to Home Instead for helping us to take care of our mother. The understanding and thoughtful care provided by Mum's carer enables her to continue to live in her own home and gives my sister and I confidence that we have made the right decision. The family are very pleased with the service provided by the two carers. My father in law is very happy and welcomes the carers although he was reluctant to receive care in the first instance. I would be happy to and already have recommended Home Instead to others.

Very customer/client focused. Really accommodating when I have needed to alter call times. Carer provides excellent care. Her encouragement and support is very much appreciated. Always very professional and puts me at ease.

I was away visiting my daughter and family in Australia for a month over Christmas period and as my husband has Alzheimer’s now, he required a daily visit for an hour, to carry out my usual care and tasks. The ladies who called carried out all the necessary care we requested and all went well. He seemed very at ease and satisfied with things on my return and will definitely be using the same services in the future.

Home Instead staff are friendly, courteous, and caring. Professional and punctual. Good communication from the management team. It's good to know that we can rely on Home Instead to support both elderly parents, as it takes away some of the worry!
