Absolutely amazing! Due to my Mum's quick deterioration, we only got to know them for a week but they were fantastic - two members of staff especially. Both were caring, thoughtful and above all, at all times, professional. Not only did they care brilliantly for my mum but they also cared for me too
when I was having a ‘tearful’ day. They always went above and beyond and it meant so much to us all seeing them both at my mum's funeral. I would definitely recommend Home Instead.

We are so grateful to Home Instead for the excellent care they have provided for my mother who has dementia. That have often provided this care at short notice. I live over 100 miles away and knowing someone is visiting and caring for my mother on a regular and professional basis is essential. The app
is great for checking up on her. The carers are amazing too and my mum loves them.

We met the deputy manager before when we were looking for care for another relative and decided that we would use Home Instead when the need arose for my parents-in-law. My dad has support from Home Instead and I can honestly say they have changed his life. They have built him up after his stroke and giving him his confidence and independence back. He gets on well with the CAREGivers and they are matched to his needs and personality, he trusts them and that helps him
push himself to do more, especially with his exercises. He enjoys getting out when we can with the covid rules, I know they will keep him safe and have a great time.

The 3 carers involved with my mum have been excellent. It's not been easy with Mum as she's very strong-willed and wouldn't always let carers do what they need with her. However, the carers have been very patient with her and let Mum go at her pace to accepting them in her daily life. It's taken a while
but Mum is getting there. The carers are loving and caring towards Mum. I can't fault them as I know it's not easy with my mum because she's always been strong-willed, which has got worse with dementia/Alzheimers. Thank you all - we really appreciate you all.

Makes me a cup of tea as her first job. Cleans the kitchen up if necessary and mops the floor, then goes upstairs and mops the bathroom floor. Sit and chats for the rest of the time, which is nice as I don't see many people.

Cannot fault the care, help and service given to my mother after coming home after a lengthy spell in hospital. Regular carers known to my mum, always on times arranged, willing to do a variety of jobs, chores to aid her. Very organised, professional and customers interests all a priority.

We used your service to provide care for my Mum whilst I was on holiday. We had 3 visits over 5 days, providing personal care, support in the morning. The carer had just begun with the company and visited with Mum prior to commencement. I met with the Manager prior to this to complete paperwork and
contract fee of £90.

Having spent the first 20 years of my working life around the world running pubs, restaurants and hotels following in my father's and grandfather’s footsteps, I thought it was time I worked for myself, spend more time with my young family and give something back to the community around me.


I’d watched my grandfather live to a dignified old age by being cared for by carers who in my opinion were the most caring, reliable and generous unsung heroes of our communities. However, I knew this wasn’t the right of passage for the majority of older people in our country.


This is a generation who have given so much so that we can live the privileged lives that we do so and therefore I am determined to work alongside my team here at Home Instead to “change the face of aging” encouraging older people to continue to lead a thorough and enriching life surrounded by care, companionship and support.

I have worked in the care sector since I left school with various care providers in the Hinckley & Nuneaton area. I have always loved making a difference to the lives of people I come into contact with, whether that be the people who are accessing the care or the fantastic care teams I’ve worked with.


I started my career as a Care Assistant & Activities co-ordinator, I then worked in Mental Health services and more recently as an Assistant Manager for a Day Centre & Care Home. Whilst working in care homes it became apparent that there were many people coming to live there who were not able to continue to live in the community.


I have experience caring for both the older generation and younger people with learning disabilities, I especially enjoy working with people living with dementia, and I am proud to be a Dementia Champion. When I saw Home Instead, it was wonderful to see that a company was really addressing the needs of the clients, enabling people to stay in their homes for as long as possible.


I knew it was the company for me and I am delighted to be a part of a company which shares my values. When I am not at work, I am spending time with my Husband and my 3 daughters who certainly keep us busy!! I have lived in Hinckley for 17 years and I love the close-knit feel of the community.
