Everyone was very helpful and kind supporting my mum and dad ensuring they were both really well looked after as my father peacefully died. We were all helped during this sad time. The team were able to add extra support when needed

We met the deputy manager before when we were looking for care for another relative and decided that we would use Home Instead when the need arose for my parents-in-law. She was clear, friendly, helpful, reassuring and managed the whole process extremely well. We liked the carers who came on the previous

My dad has support from Home Instead and I can honestly say they have changed his life. They have built him up after his stroke and giving him his confidence and independence back. He gets on well with the CAREGivers and they are matched to his needs and personality, he trusts them and that helps him
push himself to do more, especially with his exercises. He enjoys getting out when we can with the covid rules, I know they will keep him safe and have a great time.

The 3 carers involved with my mum have been excellent. It's not been easy with Mum as she's very strong-willed and wouldn't always let carers do what they need with her. However, the carers have been very patient with her and let Mum go at her pace to accepting them in her daily life. It's taken a while
but Mum is getting there. The carers are loving and caring towards Mum. I can't fault them as I know it's not easy with my mum because she's always been strong-willed, which has got worse with dementia/Alzheimers. Thank you all - we really appreciate you all.

Makes me a cup of tea as her first job. Cleans the kitchen up if necessary and mops the floor, then goes upstairs and mops the bathroom floor. Sit and chats for the rest of the time, which is nice as I don't see many people.

We have been very happy with the support given to my parents during their visits. Staff always were pleasant and helpful in their home. Mum was always treated with dignity and respect as she faced her own challenges. Always a smiling face greeted her and supported her feelings. Wouldn't hesitate to
call again if we needed care.

Mum and dad require constant care; Along with my siblings, we were providing this. Having accessed your services, we are delighted; Mum and dad are enjoying the social interaction and the activities including and especially cooking, have been inspired.
The "time off", we as carers are now able to
take has helped to restore a healthier life balance. As such, our time spent with mum and dad is once more as it should be - thank you.

Dad is delighted with the care and support he gets. It has made such a difference to his life. From my point of view, I can relax knowing Dad has extremely professional carers coming in most mornings. His carers show initiative, common sense and most importantly a sense of humour.

Cannot fault the care, help and service given to my mother after coming home after a lengthy spell in hospital. Regular carers known to my mum, always on times arranged, willing to do a variety of jobs, chores to aid her. Very organised, professional and customers interests all a priority.

We used your service to provide care for my Mum whilst I was on holiday. We had 3 visits over 5 days, providing personal care, support in the morning. The carer had just begun with the company and visited with Mum prior to commencement. I met with the Manager prior to this to complete paperwork and
contract fee of £90.

I used Home Instead for the first time in October. The efficient and caring attitude of the staff gave me the confidence to go on holiday and leave my partially disabled husband for a week. I was not disappointed he was treated with respect and his needs were catered for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time together and are pleased we were able to support in your rehabilitation. We were disappointed to read that despite rating us highly across the areas mentioned above you felt that we were not value for money. We are not the cheapest but I do believe we deliver value for money for our clients by promising familiar CAREGivers and visits at the specific times that they request. I do not believe quality care can be delivered for less than we charge and there be a sustainable business with longevity for clients and CAREGivers.

Having spent the first 20 years of my working life around the world running pubs, restaurants and hotels following in my father's and grandfather’s footsteps, I thought it was time I worked for myself, spend more time with my young family and give something back to the community around me.


I’d watched my grandfather live to a dignified old age by being cared for by carers who in my opinion were the most caring, reliable and generous unsung heroes of our communities. However, I knew this wasn’t the right of passage for the majority of older people in our country.


This is a generation who have given so much so that we can live the privileged lives that we do so and therefore I am determined to work alongside my team here at Home Instead to “change the face of aging” encouraging older people to continue to lead a thorough and enriching life surrounded by care, companionship and support.

I have worked in the care sector since I left school with various care providers in the Hinckley & Nuneaton area. I have always loved making a difference to the lives of people I come into contact with, whether that be the people who are accessing the care or the fantastic care teams I’ve worked with.


I started my career as a Care Assistant & Activities co-ordinator, I then worked in Mental Health services and more recently as an Assistant Manager for a Day Centre & Care Home. Whilst working in care homes it became apparent that there were many people coming to live there who were not able to continue to live in the community.


I have experience caring for both the older generation and younger people with learning disabilities, I especially enjoy working with people living with dementia, and I am proud to be a Dementia Champion. When I saw Home Instead, it was wonderful to see that a company was really addressing the needs of the clients, enabling people to stay in their homes for as long as possible.


I knew it was the company for me and I am delighted to be a part of a company which shares my values. When I am not at work, I am spending time with my Husband and my 3 daughters who certainly keep us busy!! I have lived in Hinckley for 17 years and I love the close-knit feel of the community.
