I am getting over an operation, and I have had two weeks of someone coming in every morning to help wash me and get me dressed and every evening to help me into bed. As I also have MS and am in a wheelchair, this help has been essential for myself and my husband. Every lady that has come in to help have been lovely, and they have always asked me if they can do anything else to help, never rushing off or making me hurry up. Never feel embarrassed to ask for help they have made it so easy for us. Also this way it takes the pressure off your loved ones.
I would wholeheartedly recommend TUcare to any family seeking personal care for a loved one. They are truly exceptional, totally competent on the practical side of things as well as naturally caring. The carers that help with my mum (who has dementia) have a real rapport with her and are a calming influence on her even though she can get agitated. Their patience with her is admirable. The team at TUcare have made an extremely stressful and sad situation much more bearable for our whole family. The office/admin staff are also extremely professional, sincere and friendly.
When visiting my friend, a client of TUcare recently, I was extremely impressed with the service provided to her. The carers were at all times friendly but respectful, polite and professional. They worked hard to understand her wishes and to make every day as good as it could be for her. They dealt with an unexpected occurrence calmly and competently, comforting and reassuring my friend until help arrived, and then giving a comprehensive and accurate account to the paramedics. The care she has received from this service has been, in all regards, excellent.
Excellent service, nothing too much trouble, especially when my aunt needed to be given medication and very helpful with advice. Felt confident if there were any problems they would contact me which they often did.
My father was discharged from the hospital to home with delirium and dementia symptoms against the family's wishes. TU Care was engaged to provide overnight care. The carer was superb. Unfortunately, it was a failed discharge and my father was readmitted to the hospital 14 hours after discharge. As such we were unable to give TU Care 24 hours notice that the carer was not required for the second night.
TU Care is not using common sense in this case and firmly enforcing its terms and conditions. Rather than forming a long term relationship with us where we would have engaged them again in the future they have a very short term view of the business. For this, I will never recommend them or return to them.
Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration and anger towards the fact that your father was subject to a failed discharge from hospital. Unfortunately, we feel your frustration and anger is directed at the wrong organisation. We were employed by yourselves as a private...
We started using TUcare for domiciliary care for Mum, and then live-in care when it became necessary. The management are conscientious and all the carers we have met have been friendly, well trained and confident. We have been completely happy with all aspects of care provided to Mum by TUcare. I have already recommended them to several people and will continue to do so, thank you so much for making this worrying time of Mums life so much easier.
My mother was well looked after by all the carers that visited. They all made time for all her needs and never rushed her. All the carers were considerate and helpful. They showed care and compassion to mum who has the early stages of dementia.
I have had no experience of care services but have now had to obtain help for my husband who has dementia. I could not have had better or kinder help than I have had from TUcare. Every query I have faced them with has been dealt with quickly and efficiently - so all the weight lifted from my shoulders. Staff are so caring. Thank you!
My experience is this care provider is outstanding in terms of care provision and the quality and experience of the staff on duty is exceptional, to say the least. It is obvious when speaking to the senior management that the care and understanding of the teams involved in my situation stems from the very top.
Excellent service all round.
My husband is now totally reliant on professional care and is pleased with the service provided by TUcare. I have found them totally reliable, and they provide and caring, professional service. They work hard and always tidy up after the work is finished. They are gentle with their clients and are always cheerful and friendly. I could not manage to look after my husband without TUcare.
We are so impressed with the hands-on style of this management and the quality of the carers. We believe that the test of an organisation is best seen when they are having to deal with internal logistical or management problems themselves. It is refreshing to experience the honesty of approach and the loyalty this engenders in the carers themselves. This, in turn, reflects on the quality of care we receive at home
Cannot praise this organisation enough. In desperation to find something negative to say, I do wish they had chosen a different name. It could be construed as a Tuesday only service!
There is not much more I could ask for from a caring organization. Very professional, engaging, responsive and proactive. I feel that my mother couldn't be in better hands.
Thank you so much.
Couldn't ask for more caring ladies. They all cared for my husband so well nothing was too much bother. Even after he passed away they have continued to support me and the family.
Unfailingly kind, helpful and efficient.
I find TU care to be friendly, professional and treat clients with dignity. Always answer the phone or will ring you back asap. Willing to talk about the best care for the client. Excellent service.
Lovely girls. We have great chats and she does my medication and housework.
Very nice girl, polite and helpful.
We have not been with TUcare for long but so far we are very happy with the care provided. Their punctuality is very good and they are willing to work with family members as a team which makes mums care more personal. We think this is very important as we feel that you are working with people that really care about individuals. Putting loved ones in other people’s care is very worrying and it’s very hard to find carers that do actually care. My wish is that mum is treated like their family member/friend would be treated and so far this seems to be the case. So far nothing seems to be a problem for them and as a family run business, we feel they are already a part of our family. We look forward to working more with them as mums needs become greater.
