The manager was very quick to respond to our initial enquiry for help with my mother who had a sudden short term illness and needed support. We immediately felt reassured that she would be looked after during a stressful time. My mother appreciated and enjoyed the visits she had and was happy. It is also reassuring that we can call on the manager and her team in the future if need be.
Over and above with washing, dressing, cooking, laundry, hoovering etc. The management and staff gave loving care by identifying the individual needs of my partner. They also stimulated her memory recognising the problems of Alzheimer dementia. All their practical help developed a genuine affection between carer and patient. The care plan was carried out with punctuality and strict control of drugs. I was also cared for.
We had numerous occasions to contact the agency, the main point of contact being the manager, who was at all times of the day and night, available, incredibly helpful, reliable and professional.
Thank you so much Elise, it was our pleasure; we understand that caring for someone is a 24hour commitment, not 9-5.

We had a private carer before we came to TUcare (she was great and still visits mum as a friend) but there was so much hassle when she was sick or on holiday I would have to take time off to go round and get Mum up and dressed and then go to lunch, it just wasn’t working. Now I don’t need to worry the staff who come into Mum are great and I don’t need to worry about having to cover they have it sorted. Overall great service, great peace of mind.
The care provided for my elderly mother was outstanding. The carer put my mother completely at ease and made it possible for me to have a well needed holiday. I would definitely use Tucare again and have already recommended them.
