Our mother returned home from hospital in November last year, was no longer mobile, but neither she nor we, her daughters, wanted a move to a care home. Numada Homecare was provided for the first six weeks by the NHS and within that time they had already done such a great job that none of us had any
desire to move to another care company. The quality of care exceeded our expectations throughout their time with our mum to her recent passing. Their care was of the highest standard and they treated our mother with total respect and dignity. For her, they were like friends too, and she loved seeing them, enjoying her regular chats with them. They were quick to share with us any concerns they had and we never doubted our absolute trust in them. We would have absolute confidence in recommending them to anyone in need of care for themselves or family members.

My mother moved to this company and is very happy with the outstanding Care from this excellent care Company with genuine empathy from management and care staff alike. Always on time for visits, cheerful, polite and patient, friendly individuals all through. This is exactly how a Care Company should
operate. The owners of this company should be proud of the kind professional staff and the great commitment from all the team they have working for them that strive to get the very best for the clients.
Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. A wonderful experience with instant response to any concerns, questions in phone calls or emails to providing a safe care plan and full of action, not just words. Above and beyond my original expectations. Well done Numada.

Inspection ratings
We rate most services according to how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led they are, using four levels:
Outstanding - the service is performing exceptionally well.
Good - the service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
Requires improvement - the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.
Inadequate - the service is performing badly and we've taken enforcement action against the provider of the service.
No rating/under appeal/rating suspended - there are some services which we can't rate, while some might be under appeal from the provider. Suspended ratings are being reviewed by us and will be published soon.
Ticks and crosses
We don't rate every type of service. For services we haven't rated we use ticks and crosses to show whether we've asked them to take further action or taken enforcement action against them.
There's no need for the service to take further action. If this service has not had a CQC inspection since it registered with us, our judgement may be based on our assessment of declarations and evidence supplied by the service.
The service must make improvements.
At least one standard in this area was not being met when we inspected the service and we have taken enforcement action.
