When first meeting staff from this company I was promised many things, not a thing has happened. The staff, every call, undercut the allotted time by 15 to 20 minutes every call. The staff are lazy and spend much time on their phones. The staff refuse to read a box and prepare a meal correctly meaning meals go uneaten. In the months we've had them they have overdosed my gran on medication more than once. I am 200 miles away. I have always done the shopping Friday to be delivered Monday. They also need to give me meter readings and refuse to do so. Currently my gran has little food or toilet paper and the office are letting her go without. How is that ever okay? Again I'm 200 miles away with no support in the area, I cannot see some things. My gran finds it hard to understand the staff and they have very little interest in the client. My gran's health, wellbeing and mobility has gone down since using this lot. Proceed with caution and have cameras installed if you are entrusting your vulnerable oldies to this company.
We value all feedback and have reviewed your comments. Many of your claims are not accurate. In 2023, social services specifically requested our assistance due to relationship challenges with previous care companies. Social services has praised our efforts as they understand the difficulties....
All staff are fantastic and couldn't do enough to help you. The best carers I have experienced in the last 10 years, excellent service.
Thank you for the kind words. Our team works hard providing the best care possible and it is so nice to see their efforts appreciated. Wish you and your family the very best. Kind Regards
Very satisfactory with all staff have really helped in every aspect of my life.
The carers are generally good. Some are excellent.
Going forward I would really appreciate for My Homecare to try and send the same people to care for my mum.
The carers are very helpful. Always smiling.
I am very happy and grateful to the management from My Homecare. I have had support and help whenever needed. The manager is always approachable, she and her office staff are most helpful and deal promptly with any problems which arise. The carers are well-trained, respectful and reliable.
I find the cover that my mum receives is far, far better than I could've imagined and hoped for. She is very, very happy with all her carers.
Very kind, caring, smiley, respectful and informative, clean and very friendly. Thank you so much for all you do, above and beyond.
We have found the care to be amazingly good. Our uncle seems to get on very well with his carers. They seem to treat him as a friend as well as a client. He looks forward to seeing them each day.
I would recommend this company to anyone. Thank you so much.
If you like an extended family feel to your care, this is a great company to choose.
All staff are devoted and work hard and are sympathetic and do a wonderful job (they deserve a medal). They come rain or shine but evening times they tend to come earlier with disturbed meal times. This I feel needs addressing at office level as we agreed pm 9 pm, not 8:15 - 8:30 pm (am times are ok). Later is better and my wife can digest her meals properly. Only one other problem, some of your carers don't speak very clear English and I can't always understand what they are saying.
My homecare staff are very professional in the work they carry out. They arrive at the correct time, know what is due to be done, are well briefed and caring. The staff are also friendly, make time to chat and I am very pleased and lucky to have such good support at home.
The staff who visit my home 4 times a day to assist my bed-bound father-in-law are excellent, they are friendly, professional, caring, thorough and polite. Procedures are carefully followed and we are informed of any changes occurring or needed. They treat their client with dignity and compassion. The management and backup staff are also excellent. We are so lucky.
We moved to My Homecare after being severely disappointed with our previous service provider. This has been the best decision ever. The service manager at My Homecare is very hands-on and takes a genuine interest in the care they provide to their customers. Issues are dealt with promptly and nothing is ever too much trouble. Little gestures such as sending out presents to their customers on their birthdays/at Christmas are personal touches that are greatly appreciated by the customers. Keep up the good work!
I cannot praise all the carers I met enough. They treated my Mother with respect and sensitivity. Even though we only used them for a week, it made such a difference and the speed their care was altered to accommodate her end-of-life needs, was so smooth. From the manager of the branch, who struck up a real rapport with Mum, down to the care - was perfect and so personal, exactly what we were looking for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
After my husband came home from a long stay in hospital I had to find help. That is when My Homecare West Sussex stepped in. Their care and support was a great comfort, sometimes they even went far beyond their duties. For my husband, their visits became something he looked forward to with someone in the last stage of Parkinson's. Before leaving they would always ask how my day had been, a very caring and thoughtful team who you can see love their job.
Excellent service given by all staff.
They use their visits and know what to do and how to do it. Very important. When they are here I feel totally relaxed with no stress for them doing this and that. It is my time to relax totally and it gives me time to reboot and smile back on me and spent time with Mum, my children, and my husband. I feel good. Thankful to have this kind of service.
