We have been with Virtus Care and have been absolutely amazed at how they have supported us with our father. The carers have conducted themselves in a professional manner, we are grateful for how my father's carers have dealt with maintaining his dignity in a sensitive manner. The company have matched our father up with carers who understand our religion, culture and language which has helped my father’s transition with acclimating to his new norm that much more easier. We are so fortunate to have been told about them.
My dear mother came out of hospital to die at home. We didn't know how long exactly that she had but we knew it probably wouldn't be longer than a couple of months. The carers, initially introduced by a member of staff, were amazing right from the start. My mother grew to love them as did we all. And I think they loved her. Always upbeat and smiling, endlessly patient and professional and so caringly sensitive all the time. Such care and attention helped enormously to make what would have otherwise been an extremely hard experience that much more bearable. We owe them, love them and thank them so much.
We cannot recommend Virtus highly enough.
I was temporarily immobilised after an accident and went from being a fit and active 60yr old to lying flat on my back for weeks. With a little apprehension, I approached Virtus for help. It is not easy losing your independence even when you know it is not for always. I was unsure how I would feel having carers visit each day but I needn't have been worried. The agency was brilliant. My carers were kind, cheerful, sensitive and incredibly helpful in so many different ways. Always positive, they supported me through a very challenging couple of months and helped my husband with some of the chores. We looked forward to seeing them each day, I don't know how we would have managed without them and I am very grateful. Thank you to all the team.
The care at Virtus Care is excellent. I would highly recommend this service to any client or agencies. There are no faults which I can find, as we appreciate the hard work they provide. Their management and staff are professionally trained to the care standards, who are always consistent in their job roles and take their jobs seriously. I am happy with the care, as they are reliable, compassionate, kind, friendly and efficient and always go out of their way to support you extra at any given time. I am very thankful for Virtus Care because without Virtus Care I could not manage. Thank you, Virtus Care, as you are all doing an outstanding job.
My father has multiple health conditions including Alzheimer's which impact his well-being. He has a regular care worker who has been supportive over the last 9 months and I cannot fault her. She is so caring, patient and shows compassion when supporting my father. She is excellent and has a sensitive tone where she is able to offer encouragement to my father.
Provided culturally competent care, treated my father with the utmost dignity and respect. The carers supported my entire family, and helped us understand the process of death with compassion and care, they were outstanding during such a difficult time. I wish the service all the best for the future.
I have been very happy with the care given to my partner, who has Parkinsons and also has a severe spinal injury. My partner is a very independent and always try's to help herself by doing tasks during the day and night and the two full-time carers always respect that. My partner is vegetarian and fortunately, one carer is a chef so it is as though we have a 5-star Restaurant at hand! My overall experience has been excellent with Virtus, in dealing with the everyday caring for my beloved partner and they always try to resolve any problems that occur sometimes. I would heartily recommend Virtus as a professional and able care company.
I really like working with Virtus Care. I’ve found them to be friendly, kind and in general, the carers work hard and are discreet about your private life which is important. PPE is provided and always worn, and the carers are regularly tested. They all have vaccinations.
My father has dementia and the team from Virtus care have been outstanding in understanding his complex needs. He has never been so content and spoilt. Living 200 miles away and in the middle of lockdown, it is such a relief to know that he is being well looked after and that he is happy.
I’m am so pleased we chose that company for dad. He was withdrawn and moody lately. Since these lovely carers started, he is a happier man. He eats again he goes out, they even manage to persuade him to do his exercises. Every time we visit the house is spotless and Dad is very suave. Thank you all for everything you do.
Honestly, Virtus have changed my life. I've been through dozens of home care providers in West London but none of them knew how to deal with my complex issues, I was one of Virtus's first users and I can say they are absolutely excellent. They make me feel part of the family and give me the respect and attention that other care providers never did. My carers go above and beyond to make events and activities for me to enjoy despite my limited capability but in a genuine, loving way. The owners are a small family and are always checking up on me and making sure everything is going well. This is, in my opinion, the best care provider in London and I've tried loads.
Thank you for the extremely kind review Angela. As you know we will always attempt to provide the best quality care service and in doing this create an environment that both our service users and care staff can create lasting bonds. We are proud Virtus Carers are able to create that family atmosphere you love. All the best, Naseem.
