I have had a lot of experience with other care providers, and I rate Right at Home very highly. Any issues that I raise are dealt with quickly, and I'm kept up to date with what is going on. Right at Home assess my brother on what he can do, rather than what he can't do.
Thank you for your comments; it is a pleasure to look after your brother. Always lots of laughter!
Excellent service, carers go above and beyond. Nothing is too much trouble. My father is 95 and they all make time to sit and chat with him he couldn’t be happier. Would highly recommend Right at Home, so grateful we found them.
Thank you for your feedback - we all thoroughly enjoy supporting your wonderful father!
Our family have been very pleased with the extremely high level of support that Right at Home has given us during what has been a really stressful time. The wonderful care of mum provided by the professional team of carers has been exceptional. Right at Home has gone out of their way to accommodate our requests often at last minute and genuinely go above and beyond just providing care. We couldn’t have got through these last few months without them and would highly recommend their services.
It has been a pleasure to support you all and thank you for the great feedback.
Can't praise them enough, to be honest. Just knowing they are going in that day is very reassuring.
Thank you very much for giving us this feedback, it's great to hear that we make a difference.
I am so pleased we chose Right at Home for my mother’s care. They are reliable, friendly and professional. Mum never had a carer who she wasn’t introduced to first and Right at Home built a team of about three staff members around my mum's needs. Mum really liked her carer and could not stop singing her praises.
Thank you very much for your kind words about our service - best wishes from all the team
Many care companies claim to offer excellent levels of service - Right at Home actually do.
Thank you very much for your kind words about our service.
Very good start to care arrangement, at a very difficult time for everyone (Covid-19). Visits have been punctual, and nothing has been too much trouble for the carers. Great flexibility has been shown in fine-tuning the visits to suit my father's requirements. He was initially very reluctant to accept help but has now been won over by the kindness and efficiency of the manager and the team.
We're always pleased to quickly win clients round who were reluctant to receive support. Many thanks for your feedback.
We have been very pleased with the service from Right at Home. They are very helpful and supportive and we have worked well together with them to provide the best care for my grandmother. We would definitely recommend them.
Thank you for the feedback. It's a pleasure to be able to help you all.
I was lucky enough to find Right At Home (Bishop's Stortford and Braintree) when looking for care for my father in what turned out to be the last few months of his life. Although still in possession of all his marbles, he was becoming weaker and not eating properly, and needed help getting up and dressed at the start of the day. I popped into the Dunmow office on spec, and found that they had just opened - Dad was their first client! We hit it off immediately: it was clear that they all thought the world of Dad. The manager managed his care expertly, often attending with newer staff members receiving training. He received first-class care and attention from various staff, especially one in particular, who raised his spirits so much in his last months. Sadly, following a fall (when no carers were present), he went into a care home for a few weeks' respite care, and we arranged live-in care for when came out - but sadly he never did. Thank you all, for making him so happy.
Thank you Claire - your positive feedback means a lot to us. Your dad was a special man and we all miss him despite the short time we knew him.
I would not hesitate to recommend this fantastic care provider.
Thank you Gill, all the team are very fond of your mum.

Meet the Team (5)
I set up Right at Home Bishop's Stortford and Braintree in 2019. I chose the homecare sector because I knew there was so much potential to make a difference in people's lives. I was immediately hooked.
The Right at Home network stood out when doing my research about how to enter the sector: they were honest and value-driven. Over the years I have become a big advocate for the brand & it is inspirational to work with so many like-minded people. I am fully involved in the day-to-day running of the service and feel very lucky to be able to say I love doing what I do.
How we treat the vulnerable in society reflects on who we are. My grandfather experienced poor treatment and care after a dementia diagnosis - looking back I am shocked at what he went through. It is so pleasing to be able to make a small contribution to righting that wrong & to regularly hear what a difference we make to local, vulnerable people's lives.
The values of Right at Home Bishop’s Stortford & Braintree are trust, professionalism, kindness & excellence. We have a wonderful team, all committed to the ethos of the service. If you are looking for quality home care, please do give our friendly team a call - we'll be happy to help.
I am Liza and I am the Registered Manager here at Right at Home Bishop’s Stortford & Braintree.
I am truly committed to my role & I am passionate about providing the best support to all of our clients & their families. It is important that our care packages are tailored to the individual. This means I spend time understanding our clients' personalities and quirks, as well as understanding their health and support needs. I often find myself having a really good giggle with our clients!
To achieve the level of excellence that we aspire to, I make sure our staff are well-trained, happy and confident.
I have experience as a CareGiver - I started my health and social care career 10 years ago and I worked my way up to Care Coordinator and then Registered Manager. I have seen it all & love passing on my knowledge and experience to the team. Over the years I have completed my Health & Social Care Level 5, as well as various other related qualifications in areas such as Dementia, Moving & Positioning, Stoma & Catheter Care.
Please do get in touch to find out more about our services.
I started Right at Home in November 2022. My previous jobs have been working in the animal care industry, working on a farm for 3 years completing my Diplomas alongside college. I’ve always wanted to work within a job that is rewarding and something to be proud of. That is why I made the decision to contact Right at Home and apply for the role of a Caregiver.
I’ve always had a special bond with my grandparents and with my grandad having dementia, I wanted to help people in similar situations and offer care like I did with my grandad.
After a short amount of time I started to help out in the office as a Coordinator and over the course of 2023 I have moved full time into that role. I love coming to the office and still get the chance to meet so many Clients on a regular basis so I have the best of both worlds!
My name is Debs and I have been working in care since 1999, covering all different aspects. I started off as a carer and worked my way up to working in the office as a Care Coordinator.
My career at Right at Home started in January 2022 and I have really enjoyed my time here. My current focus is on the compliance side of the service, making sure our lovely Clients are as safe and happy as possible. My typical day involves auditing Clients' medication records, providing quality control on care records, reviewing care plans with Clients, observing our team members delivering care to ensure standards are maintained and many other related things!
I have completed my level 2 & 3 NVQ and would like to continue to learn new things and use them in my daily duties.
I joined Right at Home Bishop’s Stortford and Braintree in August 2022 as a Care Recruiter.
My role is sourcing, interviewing, and taking our fantastic candidates through the initial onboarding process so they can become a CareGiver in the community.
I understand starting a new role can be daunting, I love talking to people, making them feel comfortable and at ease during this process.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about becoming a CareGiver.
