Calida Care

My daughter is constantly in touch with the management team which enables them to deliver the best service. I have recently started using their emergency response service which has been invaluable as I tend to fall quite often. In particular, the care manager has been an absolute gem coming out to me in the early hours. I wouldn't want to use any other care company.

After much concern for my father and with the assistance of the agency, Dad was convinced of the need for help. We had concerns based on the experiences of friends who'd used care agencies themselves. Without any reservations and with much relief, Calida's involvement has proved hugely beneficial to my father. Every one of the carers engages beautifully with him whilst remaining professional and respectful. The improvement in my father is beyond words and I cannot recommend Calida highly enough.

The care workers from your company are of a very high quality. They are adaptable knowledge and good cooks. Willing to make a meal, clear the rubbish, tidy clothes, making a drink etc. Usually on time and reliable, in fact, first-class ladies.

I approached Calida Care after picking up a pamphlet on the reception desk at a care home establishment. Carers always attended at the agreed time to shower my husband, always left the room tidy and towels folded. Would definitely recommend.

This past 18 months, the care has been wonderful from Calida, every single carer has been and are always very professional, prompt and great with Mum, engaging with her in different ways, ie singing, chatting, having a giggle, and understanding her needs, and work well with Mum's live-in carer, we are all so much more relaxed and we know Mum is too! And we know we are always supported by the friendly office staff whenever we speak with them. We hope they will continue to provide care for Mum as long as she needs them.

Provided short term personal care at short notice after my husband returned home from hospital after an emergency hip replacement after an accident. Carers arrived when expected and were professional and helpful.

We have only started a few weeks ago, and we are so pleased with them. They go above and beyond the call of duty. All the time, nothing is too much trouble. At times, all I want to do is talk, and the level is very high.

The ladies who came and sat with my mother while I took a break were very kind and helpful. I am very grateful for the service provided which means I do not have to worry about leaving my mother on her own.

In spite of all his disabilities, the carers find a way to communicate and engage with him, their patience and kindness being rewarded with one of his lovely smiles and sometimes a wink and that means so much to me. We really couldn’t manage without them and it’s a delight to have them in our home.

We have been with Calida Care for a number of years for our mother and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Our full time carer is the kindest, most patient, caring and wonderful human being. She has taken the time to develop a close and caring relationship with our mother and is responsive to all her needs. When she goes on break, Calida takes care to find someone equally kind and capable. The management at Calida is extremely experienced and professional and we highly recommend. As I live abroad, it is a huge relief to know my mother is in the most capable hands.

From the outset, the head of care and her team at Calida have been truly amazing! The carers provided were second to none, so respectful of my mother’s wishes and gave her a quality of life not many of her age would ever receive! She was 101 at her death earlier this year! If there was ever a problem, the head of care had it sorted in no time. I can’t thank Calida enough for making my mother’s final years such happy ones in the house she lived in and loved for 95 of her 101 years!

We have had a fantastic experience with Calida Care. The quality of the carers they provide is excellent and the care manager is extremely knowledgeable and committed to providing an excellent service. Care is always taken to make sure everything is done as it should be and where there have been issues, these have been dealt with quickly and to our complete satisfaction.

I have had carers for several months now and have been very impressed with their work. One carer helped with my husband who was very ill and passed away in 2022. I have a carer for myself now. She is totally reliable and helps me with personal care, household duties meals and shopping. Nothing is too much trouble and she is friendly towards visitors and family.

Calida Care were always friendly, caring and professional. They took their time to get to know the client and their family. They kept the family informed of any concerns regarding the client and gave regular updates.

Throughout our experience of Calida Care which has been for over a year, including carer visits and live-in care, the level of service provided has been excellent. All of the staff are friendly, approachable and pay attention to detail. There is always someone available to give advice or help, and communication is very good. I would not hesitate to recommend Calida Care.

The care Mum received from Calida Care was faultless. The carers are amazing and the worked very hard to ensure they did the very best they could to make her comfortable and happy. Attention to detail was always adhered too.
