My father adores his current pair of alternating carers and nothing is too much trouble, either from them or from their manager.
There have been several carers over the last year and a half who have not been successful for various reasons, but the rotation now in place is practically perfect, thank you.
Any carer who is prepared to listen to the Archers with him is a hero!
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. It's great to hear that things are working so well and your father is comfortable with the people supporting him. We also appreciate your honesty about the earlier changes - getting the right match is really important and it's something we work...
The time I've been with them - it has been a joy. On time, very helping with chores.
Thank you for sharing this review. It's lovely to hear that your experience has been such a positive one and that the visits have been reliable and helpful day to day. I'll be sure to share this feedback with the team.
Both my mom in law and me have found staff and volunteers who run the Memory Cafe at the church to be very kind, patient & helpful. We are both on a new learning journey with Alzheimer's and have been shown kindness. Thank you to all staff and volunteers who run the Memory Cafe. Thank you too for all the helpful and useful information provided. All is very much appreciated.
It's great to hear that both you and your mother-in-law have felt supported while you're finding your way through things. That early stage can feel like a lot to take in, so having the right people around you makes a difference. We're also pleased to hear the information has been helpful along the way. Thank you again for taking the time to leave this feedback.
Our experience of unique is very positive. Their service and care provided is excellent and find them very flexible and supportive. We would highly recommend to others.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. It's encouraging to hear that the care has felt both supportive and adaptable to your needs. That flexibility can make a real difference day to day. We really appreciate your recommendation and will make sure your feedback is shared with the team.
My wife has dementia, we are both in our mid 80's and I needed some help. Unique have been brilliant. Everything I said we needed has been provided in a friendly, professional and cheerful manner. I was concerned that my wife would struggle to accept help but the lady who comes is the same one each time, which was something we requested, has built up a good relationship with her. She was resistant at first but, she is now happier to accept the much needed help. My wife has good and bad days. The bad days are managed very respectfully by the carer and she can usually persuade my wife to agree to some help.

First and foremost, if you're in the area and you're looking for the very best of carers for your families, look no further, you've found them!
One of my grandparents has severe mobility issues, and the other has Dementia (due to L.O.A), and we reached a point in January 2026 where we had to look for carers, and we found Unique.
They're rated the highest they can be with the CQC and it absolutely shows, they're so very attentive and I can't put into words the level of reassurance I feel when they are round.
I live on the other side of the country so the fact I feel comfortable travelling up and down every week is a testament to the care they provide. They ensure both my grandparents eat well; are clean, have a clean house, are washed, go to the shops with them and most importantly they take time to talk and understand their emotional needs as well.
They are well, well, well, worth the cost and I implore you, if you are looking for carers for your loved ones, please choose Unique.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We know how much trust is involved when you're arranging care from a distance, so I'm really glad to hear that you feel comfortable and reassured when the team is there. That peace of mind is so important for families.

Vic and I started to attend the Knowle + Dorridge memory cafe in the early days. We did not know what to expect and Vic was somewhat reluctant at the thought. From the very moment we walked through the door, we were made so welcome both by 'Unique' staff + the wonderful team of volunteers. The activities are well planned + very enjoyable - assigned to stimulate the mind in various ways. The talks are invariably interesting, themed crafts enhance achievement feelings, therapy dog is very calming. Brilliant for carers.
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. It's good to hear that you both felt welcomed from the outset. Creating a space where people can settle in, feel at ease, and get something from the time spent there is really important. Your kind words will mean a lot to the team and volunteers involved.
Staff very welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable regarding what the clients, family and friends need. The whole morning is relaxed, and lots of different activities every week for all of us to do and join in with, it's a lot of fun for everyone. Thank you to all the staff who give up their time every week to look after us, and of course, the volunteers who also give p their time every week.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. It's great to hear that you've found the team welcoming and easy to be around. Having a relaxed, friendly atmosphere is what we strive for, and I know your comments will mean a lot to both the team and the volunteers.
My mother has been diagnosed with vascular dementia and forgets quite often but when she attends the memory cafe, Solihull she loves it she interacts with service users and staff I've never seen her so happy to be anywhere. Big thank you to all the staff involved there.
It's really lovely to hear how much your Mother enjoys coming along to the Solihull Memory Cafe. The team put a lot of care into creating a relaxed and welcoming space, so your comments will mean a great deal to them.
I look forward to Thursdays for my husband, who unable to do much is contented. For me to meet and converse with other carers to enjoy meeting others in a similar position is a lifeline.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're pleased to know that the support around you has been helpful and that it's provided something positive in your week. Creating dependable support for both individuals and families is really important to us.
All aspects of the care provision have met or exceeded my expectations. The administrative aspects have been excellent - responsive, timely and supportive. The care givers are always punctual, friendly and similarly responsive. My mum regularly reports that the carers are "lovely". I never have any concerns when I know that the carers are with my mum.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. It's really reassuring to hear that both the care itself and the support behind the scenes have worked well for you. The Caregivers will be very pleased to know your Mother feels comfortable with them, and that you can feel at ease when they're there.
Unique Senior Care are a fantastic care agency. The carers are all lovely, warm people who really do care. They give mum time to talk about how her day is going and they try to help when she is not feeling her best. Mum has complex needs and is very particular about how things are done but Unique carers do their best to make mum feel supported and comfortable.

I took the decision to look for Live in care for my adult son, who is living with down syndrome, when visits during the day no longer met his needs. I am an elderly parent and needed help to support my son. I knew that finding the right people would be key. Finding the first Caregiver with Unique Senior Care was quick. I met with the assessor who visited me and my son to assess all my sons needs. Finding a caregiver to work opposite the caregiver already in place took some time due to finding the right person for my son. I had doubts at times that I was doing the right thing for my son. Then I met Sophie the Head of Live in who came to my home. Sophie put a plan in place with my full involvement and supported me to find that right caregiver for my son. Today we now have 2 regular Caregivers that feel like family. I no longer have to worry, I know I have done the right thing for my son. My son is happy and I can see he is happy. It works for us and they are helpful to me too ..
Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and heartfelt review. It's clear how much care and consideration went into your decision, and we're so pleased to know that live-in care has brought the right balance of support for both you and your son. It's lovely to hear that things now feel settled with...
Just wanted to feedback on my Grandad Clems experience so far with your lovely carers.
Becky has been exceptionally kind and he looks forward to her visiting. Her visits have made a real difference to not only his everyday life but his quality of life.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend your care agency and are very grateful for the support.
Thank you so much for your kind words about your Grandad's care. It's lovely to hear that he enjoys Becky's visits and that her support has made such a positive difference to his daily life.
We'll make sure Becky sees your message. She'll be delighted to know how much her kindness and care are appreciated.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback and for recommending us.
Having listened carefully to the complex needs I described for my parents, a member of staff responded super quickly with exactly the right person at the times I'd requested. I couldn't recommend Unique Care Knowle highly enough for their empathetic, helpful and caring approach. They were flexible and so fast that someone started in our home within 2 weeks of me contacting them. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this review - it really does mean a lot. We know how important it is to get the right support in place quickly, especially when theres a lot to think about. We're so pleased we could help at the right time, and that the match has worked well for your family. Well pass your kind words on to the team in Knowle.
I have been using Unique since January for my mum and have always found them to be faultless. Are always on time and work in a very professional but friendly way. Mum was reluctant in the first instance but the care she has received has improved her health and wellbeing and we don't have to worry about her now. Thank you from all of us
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. It's wonderful to hear how hourly care has supported your mum's health and wellbeing, especially after a hesitant start. We're really glad it's brought you all some peace of mind. We'll make sure the team hears your kind words.
was difficult choosing from a variety of
providers.
I am so pleased I chose Unique they
have been excellent from the start , the
carers are very willing and nothing is
too much trouble .
I can recommend Unique Senior Care
Solihull .
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're really pleased to hear that your first experience arranging hourly care has gone smoothly. Choosing the right support can be a big decision, especially when it's all new. It's lovely to know our Caregivers have made things feel that bit easier.
The structure of the company is such that the carers are closely supported by the local care manager, who visits regularly.
We have used Unique for nine months to date and the whole experience has been a stark contrast to a previous agency we tried.
I highly recommend.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Live-in care really does work best when there's a small, familiar team around someone, backed by steady support behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. We're so glad it's felt like the right fit after what you'd been through before, and we really appreciate your kind words.
I can't say enough to show my appreciation of the unlimited care shown by the carer for mum. She is very proactive to the point that I don't have to worry about mum's needs because I know her carer will actually be looking for thing that need doing and not just be robotic on the basis.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It's wonderful to hear how much confidence you have in your mum's caregiver and the proactive support she provides. That's exactly what good visiting care should feel like - knowing your loved one is in safe hands without you having to worry. We really appreciate you sharing your experience.
I have used Unique Care twice, the first time for a week of "live in care" and recently to help my husband in the last week of his life. On both occasions the response of management cannot be faulted and the carers have all been prompt, efficient, respectful and caring. He was compassionately cared for and everyone made sure that I was supported at a difficult time. I wholeheartedly would recommend this company to anyone needing support.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We're so sorry for your loss and truly appreciate your kind words. It means a lot to know that both our live-in and visiting care teams could support you and your husband when you needed it most. Making sure families feel cared for is so important to us, and we're grateful we could be there for you.
