Weekly companionship visits since September 2024. This has been very useful, especially during the period of changing care homes! We value the support and feedback she provides to us. The office is excellent and changing to Unique Senior Care Solihull has made a huge difference to reducing our stress levels.

I've found the office and care staff at Unique to be brilliant over the last 6 months or so, which is what makes them stand out. Arranging care for loved ones can be stressful, but each person I've dealt with has been efficient, reassuring and helpful. I can't really thank the carers enough for the practical and emotional assistance and reassurance they currently bring to my elderly dad. We decided to use the services of Unique for my wife just over 3 months ago as I was struggling to look after her at the beginning and end of each day and Unique came highly recommended. From the moment we contacted them and met our manager we were confident we had made the right choice and this has been confirmed by the excellent level of care my wife has received since. Unique's carers are very professional, keen to help and most of all they are very friendly and personable and have become part of our daily 'family' as we look forward to their visits. Nothing is too much trouble and they are reliable and trustworthy. So a big thank you to all the team from myself and my wife for helping us maintain a good standard of living.

From the moment I made the initial enquiry, through to the day-to-day care provided for my mother, I have found Unique Care to be very professional in their approach, they communicate effectively and have provided carers that have bonded brilliantly with my mother. This has provided me with peace of mind that my mother is being cared for by people we can trust.

The staff at Unique Senior Care have been excellent throughout everything. The carers have been outstanding and sensitive to our needs, and having care in place with Unique has been a big relief to the family. The care needs we require changed suddenly, and Unique was able to accommodate a request made at a weekend for changes to care starting straight away. My wife's live-in carer has transformed both of our lives. I no longer feel overwhelmed by providing personal care and doing all the household tasks myself and my wife is happier because she has a companion and I am not so irritable.

We are so pleased for the care for my elderly mother. We are new to this and feel supported throughout every stage of this. A particular staff member and her staff have been wonderful and I would definitely recommend Unique as I feel the level of care is fantastic.

Unique has provided excellent care for my mum in a range of different circumstances and degrees of need. They've also been very flexible in providing night carers for Mum in terms of her personal preferences. I couldn't fault their service.

I was very impressed with Unique Senior Care from the outset when I saw a video on their site setting out clearly their support packages with prices. After my initial phone call I was quickly put in touch with the new client manager and arrangements made for her to visit my father. Lots of details were taken at this visit then I was sent videos of potential caregivers who seemed a very good match. On 9th September the caregiver arrived and a registered manager called in shortly after to check that everything was in place. A placement manager is due to visit next week to ensure that all continues to go well. I have felt supported throughout the process and very happy with the choice of caregiver. My father has been treated with respect and kindness by everyone concerned.

From the very first meeting with the area manager, we felt she really understood what we needed for my father to enable him to stay in his own home. The company has matched him brilliantly with 2 lovely ladies, at 90 my dad is quite set in his ways and the ladies very quickly adapted to meet his needs in a way which helped him maintain some control, he can be stubborn and sometimes needs persuading that he needs to let someone assist him to avoid further accidents. The two carers have become part of the family so quickly and they always update me daily either by text or a call. I have been under enormous strain working all hours, worrying about Dad when I wasn't visiting him and now I have peace of mind and can actually spend quality time with him rather than rushing around the flat organising things. Thank you.

They were generally punctual, but we were always forewarned if they were going to be late, or could not attend.

Within a week of contacting Unique Care a manager had assessed my mum's needs in hospital, I had spoken to the carer on the phone to reassure myself and live-in care had started at home following discharge from hospital. This was particularly impressive as there was a bank holiday weekend within that week. The carers have been very kind and flexible to Mum's needs with a super sense of humour which really helps when settling into a new routine. The office ensures I am contacted about arrangements and the carers appear well supported with online care and medication plans and visits from two care managers within the first week of the service.

I contacted Unique as my mum was discharged from hospital just 3 days before I was due to go on holiday. The manager visited Mum at home the morning after discharge for a full assessment and arranged for a carer to start 2 days later at the times Mum had requested. It was the same carer each day for continuity which was very reassuring for Mum and gave me peace of mind as they got to know each other well over the week and the carer was able to adapt the support to Mum's needs each day. I cannot fault the care Mum received. It was a seamless experience at a stressful time and we would not hesitate to use Unique again.
