What can I say... it's a professionally run company. The carers all work together as a team, they are all very friendly, and nothing is too much bother. They get Dad to help with little things like washing up and get him to help make his tea. They have worked with me to make sure his care package is what we asked for, especially continuity, which was very important to him and myself. Any problem is referred to the management team for actioning promptly. The ability to access the daily electronic log remotely via the app on my phone to review the events of the day gives me peace of mind.
We are very pleased with the service you give to my dad. He is very happy with all the carers that go into see him. They let us know of any problems, and also if they have had a laugh or a joke with my dad, which is lovely.

From the moment I first contacted them the management team were generous with their time and did their utmost to ensure that the arrangements for my mother’s care were designed specifically with her wishes in mind. She was delighted with the personal service they provided and I found their support invaluable. The managers and the carers were cheerful, kind and compassionate. When my mother was admitted to the hospital, her carer stayed by her bedside and was able to assist with her care as well as providing companionship.

My elderly mother needed extra care needs following a prolonged period in hospital recently. Since Right at Home took over her home care she has progressed very well. Meet the Team (4)
I began my career in administrative roles within the NHS, gaining a strong foundation in healthcare systems and support. I then moved into the charity sector, working as a Service Manager for a mental health organisation for over five years. From there, I progressed into Learning Disabilities services, where I worked as both a Registered Manager and an Area Manager, supporting individuals to live fulfilling lives while promoting independence and person-centred care.
My very first job in care was as a volunteer in a care home, and I fell in love with it. I then went on to be part of the activity team within a care home, then head of activities, then became a Dementia Care Manager. After almost 6 years, I decided to make a change and come work for a different company, helping more behind the scenes as a care coordinator for Right at Home Oxford.
My interest in marketing, communication and community engagement began while studying Digital Media Production at Oxford Brookes University. Alongside my studies, I worked as a Student Ambassador and volunteered as a Marketing and Event coordinator within a couple of the university societies. These experiences helped me develop my communication, event coordination and content creation skills while working with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Today, I am proud to be part of the Right at Home Oxford team, where I can combine my creativity, communication skills and passion for community engagement to help raise awareness of our services and support our clients, their families and the wider local community. I am excited to continue developing professionally while making a positive difference through my role.
I have been doing and learning accounting for 5 years, and I recently joined Right at Home Oxford as an accounts and administrative officer. I really enjoy the challenges and the working environment here.
