The team of carers were wonderful and very kind to my father. They were always respectful and completed their work in calm and friendly manner. Initially we needed 2 carers, 4 times a day and without their help, my father's recovery would have been much slower. By the time our care package had ended, we only needed 1 carer once a day. A heartfelt thank you to all the carers who supported us during a difficult time.

My Aunt Tahereh received excellent care in her her final weeks at home. The ladies providing the care 4 times a day were always smiling, friendly, attentive and courteous. Sadly she passed away in hospital in late October, but I am sure she would have agreed with this review

The primary carer who visits the majority of days is kind, patient and caring.
Clearly the training at My Homecare is excellent and carer selection is carefully though through. I feel confident knowing my dad is safe and looked after by My Homecare.

The carers visit my mother twice a week to strip, wash, and sometimes other personal care chores. My mother is usually very wary to strangers but has taken to the carers' work and kindness.

The lady manager is always helpful in responding to queries, and the coordinators regularly call to check if my grandma is okay and if there is anything they can help with. They also speak with my grandma and reassure our family regularly. This is one of the best services we have experienced, and I highly recommend My Homecare Kingston.

Meet the Team (4)
I grew up in a church vicarage and studied at a Theological Seminary, shaping my life around church work. My passion lies in assisting elderly and vulnerable individuals in the community. Before joining My Homecare Kingston in 2019, I dedicated myself to helping those with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health issues.
My current focus is on supporting older people in the community, aiming to contribute to a positive change in the delivery of care. My ultimate goal is to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients, allowing them to maintain independence in their own homes for as long as possible.
I am deeply committed to the continuous training and development of our Care Professionals, empowering them to deliver the best service possible. At My Homecare Kingston, we share a common belief: the care provided should be of the standard we would want for our own loved ones.
In 2020, amidst the pandemic, I joined My Homecare Kingston as a Care Professional. Having spent over 12 years as an educational training coordinator in the RBK council, a redundancy became the catalyst for pursuing a more fulfilling career, and my interest in caring led me to this decision.
During the lockdown, I felt a strong desire to make a positive impact, and that's when a friend introduced me to My Homecare Kingston. Joining this amazing and supportive team exceeded my expectations, and working as a Care Professional has been incredibly rewarding.
Currently enrolled in a level 3 course, I am eager to progress to the role of Support Coordinator. While I still enjoy going out and visiting my clients, I have also gained insight into the additional work and commitment involved in ensuring our clients and Care Professionals always have the best possible experience.
I'm (Drilona Vrapi), and I've been happily working at MyHomecare Kingston since 2022. After studying Biology and Business Management, I gained experience as a senior carer and team leader, learning how to take care of people. Ongoing healthcare training ensures our team provides the best care.
My main role at MyHomecare Kingston is to ensure excellent care by collaborating well with our team. I have a genuine passion for helping people achieve their well-being goals, and I want our care to exceed the basics. I aim for a comprehensive approach that considers physical, emotional, and social well-being.
As Field Care Supervisor at MyHomecare Kingston, I apply my knowledge from studies and past roles to lead a team that not only provides excellent care but also contributes to the overall well-being improvement of those we care for.
