Very satisfactory in every way. Staff listen to me and we have interesting conversations. Links with the office are regular and the checking of blood pressure has been helpful.
I find Radfield to be friendly and approachable. They always do their best to help and are flexible and accommodating. They provide a reliable service. Certain members of staff have become 'like friends' to Pauline and show kindness, going above and beyond their general duties. It is very much appreciated.
My mum had care from Radfield in recent months and we were both very happy. I observed a carer on a visit with my mum and they were thoughtful and caring. Maintaning mum's dignity at all times and very respectful.
I am very pleased with the carer who visits me regularly, we have worked out a routine now so we know what we are doing and where we are going. I look forward to her visits, and enjoy her company. We are grateful for all that she does and now life is much easier than it was.

Radfield began a very limited care programme for my mother at the start of March and we were pleased with the level of care provided. Following a fall, Mum's condition deteriorated very quickly and she became bed-bound. The level of care provision had to increase to meet her new needs and this had to happen quickly. The manager and her team stepped in and this willingness to adapt to our complicated schedule has been exemplary. The lovely carers understand our need to be able to care for our Mum, and are happy to work alongside us. It is important to us that Mum feels safe with whoever is caring for us and equally that we can trust that she will be well cared for on the rare occasions when either myself or my sister are unable to be with her. We have no hesitation in leaving Mum's care to the carers, knowing that she will be looked after as diligently as we ourselves would do. I would happily recommend Radfield Home Care.

At home the carers make every effort to engage with my husband in the activities he enjoys and encourage him to talk about his favourite topics and memories.
The day centre has been a very welcome development, providing 5 hours of respite for myself and creative and mental activities for my husband. He also enjoys the 2-course lunch provided. The supervisor puts a lot of effort into preparing the crafts and activities beforehand which are themed according to the time of the year.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Radfield Home Care.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Radfield. The manager goes above and beyond to ensure that care can be provided for our Dad, despite the various challenges that have arisen along the way due to the nature of his illness, which other care providers could not manage. They are very accommodating, with changes in care requirements put in place immediately and the manager even responding to requests made out of hours. The carers have all been lovely - very cheerful, friendly, caring and thoughtful. They plan ahead to think of activities that Dad would like and mix things up to make sure that he is always kept interested and stimulated. Overall, a brilliant service!

My 92-year-old Dad has been receiving morning visits from Radfield Home Care Derby since March 2024 following a hospital admission and living with us for 3 months. The management team carried out visits prior to providing the service to assess the care needed, look at facilities at the home and introduce themselves. The care professionals carrying out the visits have been excellent, not only with the regular care duties but also companionship - Dad loves their chats in a morning! The team are happy to adapt to anything that needs doing, communication with management is easy and they're keen to make sure we are happy with the service by carrying out regular reviews. The app, which allows us to read a report on how Dad is and what has been done for him each morning, is really helpful. The most important thing is that despite thinking he didn't need carers initially, my Dad is very happy with all help they provide and as a family, it gives us peace of mind to know he's in safe hands. The carers were extremely understanding as my father's dementia got worse before we had to put him full-time in a care home. The care provided over the previous 8 months allowed him to spend more time at home while giving the support and help he needed.

The manager and her team have been looking after my mother and my father for the last few months and I cannot recommend Radfield Home Care Derby enough. Everyone has been professional, flexible, reliable and most importantly everyone has cared about my parents’ needs. The manager has gone above and beyond to accommodate their fluctuating requirements and I cannot thank her enough! It has been very difficult at times but nothing has phased the manager and her team. I felt really anxious when I started looking around for domiciliary care for my parents. My parents weren’t used to having anyone in their home apart from close family, so the carers and care had to be just right. I checked reviews for Radfield Home Care Derby and they looked really good but you never really know until you’ve tried something for yourself do you. I never looked back! The carers are very friendly, caring, patient and flexible. I know she is safe when they take her out shopping. This has helped in giving me some time to be able to do other things on those days without worrying about Mum.
If any extra immediate tasks are required, they are put in place by the care manager and the carers see this through.
I like to read the comments that the carers have put on the app about what they have been doing and this always puts a smile on my face and I know Mum has had an enjoyable day.

Radfield Care have been providing home care for my mother twice a week for the last three months. I’ve found them to be responsive, proactive, flexible and most importantly kind and caring to my mum. She enjoys the company of a regular friendly face and has built up trust and friendship with her carer. The care provided is person-centred with my mum’s safety, wellbeing and preferences always at heart. A few months in we have had a review now and added different tasks to address mum’s changing needs - this has all been done proactively by Radfield, involving both me and Mum in an efficient but personalised and thoughtful way. Radfield have personally given me a great deal of reassurance and a peace of mind that my mum is safe and happy on the days they visit. I love to read the visit notes on the app they use to see what she has been up to with her carer. I would happily recommend Radfield Care to anyone looking for home care.

Radfield Home Care has attended to Mum twice a day for the past 11 months. A small group of ladies look after Mum with great care and patience; they are cheerful, thorough and extremely thoughtful. The ladies cover a wide range of tasks that help Mum feel very well supported, safe and comfortable. They maintain a good nutritional balance in her meals and are rigorous with the meds. Mum looks forward to the Radfield visits and their reports are detailed and very important to us. Staff reviews of trends and changes have led to proactive suggestions that have, and will improve Mum's wellbeing. We find the home care provided to be excellent and would have no hesitation in recommending their services.
