Two carers have been looking after my father for a few months now and I have to say the care they are providing is amazing. They are both so polite and always on time. They are compassionate and patient and are always happy to help in any way they can. Myself and my family are so happy with the care!

The carer has been caring for my husband for quite a while now and I want to say how amazing he is. He gives him a bed bath, cleans his teeth he helps me a lot with the washing machine and the dishwasher. He does everything where I need help. Now he is helping my husband to walk with a stick, not the
walker and he is taking him round the corridors here in the block of flats and he's being wonderful with him. I cannot praise him enough.

I had a bad fall at home and injured my shoulder and as I live alone I was sent home from hospital with a care package. The carer has been so lovely and helpful to me always arrives on time with a smile on her face and is eager to help me
I could not have managed without her and am so grateful I was
given such a lovely person to help me.

My carers visit me four times daily following a month in hospital. It would not have been possible to come home without their support. They willingly do what I ask with kindness and care and have the initiative to suggest how to make my daily living easier. Always polite and punctual. Thank you.

I am happy with the carers who come to me. One staff member in particular is very helpful and supports me to get on with my life. Another staff member comes here every Monday on the first carer's day off. She is also very good. The only problem for me is that one and a half hours a day is very short.

The prescribed care has made a huge difference in terms of the respite the family members need. They are young lads and shine mostly in helping the client to get changed and be transferred using the Sara Steady. As women, we are the family members who help the client in an appropriate way when he is
still and needs extra leverage to get up from his chair (tends to have no energy in his legs even when positioned behind his nose) but the carers are not able to help him up at all. Showering has not been a daily task yet either. After they arrive the client becomes incredibly stiff and drowsy we are trying to find out what causes this symptom. The carers have been outstanding in their promptness and medication administration. They are on time and very friendly. There are big positives along these habits.

Exceptional Care at Home provided an NHS 6-week post-operation care service for me at home after I broke my hip, mid Nov 2023. There was a main carer and a stand-in for days-off. I am used to caring for myself, but my split-level living space made it impossible for me to carry food from the kitchen
and move about easily.
Both carers provided excellent service, preparing 2 meals per day and doing some shopping for food as needed. The main carer performed laundry and linen changing and both took care to keep my space clear of clutter and dust. They would have done more but I was modest in my requests. The main carer even gave me a birthday card, chocolates and flowers on the relevant day, which pleased me greatly.

This agency really lives up to its name. My son has had carers in the past but this is the first time he is truly happy and content. They are truly carers in the literal meaning of the word. All the carers involved with my son go over and above what is required of them and I couldn't be happier. I can
go about my day without a care in the world because I am confident in knowing that he is well cared for.

The carer is very caring and has brightened up Mum's world!
My mother looks forward to each visit. They show us what a great difference a really good care service can provide. It is not easy to energise and stimulate a 99-year-old and help Mum to think being alive is worthwhile, but this is a big success
and Mum is now sketching again. Mum loves her and she is interested in our family and the carer uses photographs to stimulate memories.
Always willing to do what is asked and often without being asked, and especially good with personal care.

The carer is very nice to my mum and mum is always looking forward to seeing her. She listens to corrections and pays attention to details. What I like about her most is she is always on time and never in a hurry to leave. She gives my mum respect and always has something to chat about with her.

Kind and gentle carers. Helpful and treated my grandparents with dignity in their own home. Very friendly and understanding of my nan having dementia. Calm and quiet and would choose to be cared for by them. One staff member in particular is so lovely. Thank you very much.

My husband was looked after by a particular member of staff and he was wonderful to my husband who died on 10/09/23. My husband only listened to the carer and he always looked forward to seeing him. He was so kind and gentle with my husband and he was always so interested in how we were getting on.
I cannot begin to say how amazing my husband's carer was.

I'm the Managing Director of Exceptional care at home Borehamwood. I'm genuinely passionate about delivering Exceptional Quality Care across Hertfordshire.
I've lived in this area for over 20 years & have a genuine desire to help people remain living at home for as long as possible by providing the highest levels of care. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone become more independent, whether that's being able to manage their medication again without assistance or having the ability to walk down to the shops again after a fall. My team provide kind, consistent acts of kindness which have a life-changing impact on our clients.
I'm proud to be able to support individuals, families & other healthcare professionals to ensure that we keep our clients at the heart of what we do, by collaborating, acting proactively & sharing best practice.
