Care has been good so far and I'm happy with the overall service. Carer adapts to my ways around the house and is an ex-nurse so understands my stroke symptoms. Would like to be helped to bed a little later.

I have been using Exceptional Care at Home for my care since last year! All the staff are excellent carers, they make all my visits on time and well-structured. They have followed the COVID-19 government’s rules at all times! The carers are exceptionally kind, patient, very respectful and honest! I
cannot praise the carers and the management team enough. I feel very comfortable contacting the office with any queries and I know I will be offered exceptional support and advice.

Carers have provided good, consistent care and attention to the patient. They comply with covid rules (ie PPE). They communicate well with patients and family members. They convey a patient and caring attitude to the patient and are happy to help with requests. They are sensitive to patient's needs
and are thorough in terms of providing intimate personal care.

Without this agency, my brother wouldn't have had a backup carer during difficult times of COVID. I had to call various agencies for the duration of 1 week but was turned down due to short notice and lack of capacity and struggle to find a carer in quick time seemed over, but not until I called this
agency who knew we needed urgent help and took the search for a carer seriously.
The agencies were always giving regular updates for the search of a carer and met the requirements we needed support for. The person who helped me with the search, I would like to thank her for the support.

Had an amazing first day. The member of staff was kind, explained everything to me so I could understand. She helped me wrap my presents, which was fun, we both were laughing and chatting, made me feel so relaxed. She is very kind, patient and very nice to be around.

I'm the Managing Director of Exceptional care at home Borehamwood. I'm genuinely passionate about delivering Exceptional Quality Care across Hertfordshire.
I've lived in this area for over 20 years & have a genuine desire to help people remain living at home for as long as possible by providing the highest levels of care. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone become more independent, whether that's being able to manage their medication again without assistance or having the ability to walk down to the shops again after a fall. My team provide kind, consistent acts of kindness which have a life-changing impact on our clients.
