The care that my dad gets from his wonderful carers is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, what lets it down is the disorganisation with his hours. When things change within the office, he is not kept informed and it’s assumed that because he is such a lovely man, he will be fine with any changes. I understand sickness happens, especially in this line of work but I don’t think it is a lot to ask to keep clients informed. But everyone that comes to see him, makes him happy and that is so important.

Absolutely brilliant caregivers and the whole company, I finally get peace of mind that my husband is well cared for especially while I am at dialysis three days a week. He looks forward to the carer arriving and nothing is too much trouble for the caregiver, they have encouraged him to join in with activities that are put on by the office and he has enjoyed getting out, the caregivers have helped both my husband and myself with anything that needs doing personally and with domestic duties as well.

Absolutely brilliant and professional service and on time. The staff soon got to know my dad's needs and they sent the same carer most nights, meaning that my dad didn't have to keep explaining himself and what he needed.

We have been really impressed by the service Right at Home provides since we became service users six months ago. Formerly our experience of care was inconsistent and predictable - 2/3 calls a day with little extra provided. At the time this seemed good enough but now the flexibility provided has vastly improved the quality of both our lives. I have felt comfortable with our main carer and all the other staff are great too!

I tried to be independent in looking after my husband, but when my own health began to suffer, I was persuaded to ask for help. Right at Home was suggested to me, and I have been delighted with the support my husband and I have received. The carers certainly live up to their title, as they are so friendly, helpful and understanding. My husband's face lights up when they arrive to shower him, and they are so patient with him as he talks about the same topics over and over again. The office staff are friendly and helpful too, and if there is any problem, it is quickly resolved. I know I made the right choice when I asked Right at Home for help, and my husband and I are benefitting from their excellent service.

Changing agencies to "Right at Home" was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I feel less like a customer and more like a member of a large extended family. My current career goes above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and safe before she leaves. The office staff are always friendly and helpful.

Very good care. They give a sheet to tell mum when they are coming and who her carrier will be, they are happy to help with all things she needs. They try to keep to the same carriers in the week, which mum likes. Also if they are going to change times they will contact me to tell me, nothing is too much trouble for them.

Like Right at Home because when they take me out, they don't mind if it's cold or raining; we pop in somewhere for a cop of tea, walk or look at the view. Carers assist me with walking sometimes, help with household tasks if the weather is awful or I feel a bit under the weather. Share my sadness over my husband passing and cheer me up. Enjoy activities group. Look forward to it.

The carers provide companionship for mum whilst her live-in carer has her break. I couldn't be happier with the service Right at Home are providing. The carers are absolutely first-class professionals, so kind and caring, respectful and empathetic to mum's needs on the day, they are adaptable and nothing is too much trouble. Mum really enjoys their visits. Their visit notes are also extremely comprehensive which is really helpful and reassuring for family members.
I must mention all the staff in the office who are also extremely kind, helpful and efficient, again nothing is too much trouble and the whole process of setting up the care visits has been straightforward and problem free. Thank you so much.

Very happy with the service at Right at Home. We are both very happy with the carer. She is great with my husband, doing all his physio, and we get on really well. Should we need her to do anything, she would be happy to help. She always comes with a smile. We know if we needed to make any changes, Right at Home would be there to help.

I am a Polio victim (post-Polio Syndrome). I have been receiving care from Right at Home now for 6 months and have been treated with dignity and respect. My carer listens to me and works with me at all times. I have the most respect for her at all times, she leaves the bathroom nice and tidy, just as she found it.

We have been absolutely delighted with how much the managing director and everyone at Right at Home (North Somerset) have empathized and helped us. I made an email enquiry on the Saturday about some extra help for Mum and Dad and by Monday morning it was all set up to begin the following week. I have been so impressed with their efficiency, their caring reassuring approach and their understanding and willingness to work with us to solve any snags. For instance, when the neighbour who regularly took Mum and Dad shopping on a particular day, rather suddenly changed her plans long term, the team at Right at Home (North Somerset) had alternative arrangements organised in plenty of time, even though it took some problem-solving! I felt that they were willing to go the extra mile and that gives me so much confidence for the future. I have no hesitation in recommending Right at Home (North Somerset).

From the first time I contacted Right at Home (North Somerset), I knew I had made a good decision. They did all they could to accommodate the needs of my mother with regards to the timing of the visits and selecting the carers who would suit her best. Over the last few months, we have needed to increase the visits from one hour per week to twice daily visits. This was achieved. All the staff, both administrative and carers are extremely professional and friendly. Although my mother was not keen at first on having carers in to help her, she quickly realised they are invaluable and now looks forward to her visits. Many thanks to you all.

Thank you to the wonderful and caring Right at Home team. We have received the most fantastic care and support from you all. Mum has advanced dementia and recently spent 12 weeks in hospital meaning she needed quite a bit of support at home. Her carers have made a huge difference to us. They have really taken the time to get to know mum and are always so patient and caring. It has been lovely to see mum settle and be able to enjoy being back at home. The reliability and professionalism have been fantastic thank you.

Morning and evening care was needed after my wife was discharged from hospital with a Parkinson related illness. We found Right at Home so easy to set up a care package. Any misgivings on our part concerning reliability or punctuality were soon overcome. Management was seamless, the carers were so professional and just as important friendly. Our overall experience was entirely positive.

Hello. I’m Grant
Before I joined the care industry, I was an operation and finance professional. I felt like I wanted to do more than just sit in a corporate environment, so I am thrilled to be able to combine my business skills with my desire to support people in my local community.
I have lived in North Somerset for the past decade, with my wife, two boys, and a beagle. We enjoy walks in the woods and have recently taken up cycling as a hobby.
My team and I would be delighted to answer any questions you might have, and hopefully, be able to offer support to you or a loved one.
Hi, I’m Pat.
I am the Registered Manager at Right at Home. My job entails a little bit of everything, including liaising with our wonderful carers and our special clients.
I have been in the care industry for many years. I am extremely passionate about caring for people and ensuring that their needs are met. I lived in South Africa for 35 years, where I worked as a Cardiac ICU nurse. My husband and I moved to the UK in 2016 to be closer to our family. Since then, I have worked as a carer in the community in North Somerset, and also been involved in all aspects of management within Home Care.
I am thrilled to be part of the Right at Home North Somerset team, which is constantly striving to achieve the very best for its clients and carers. Nothing is ever too much trouble!
I love spending time with my family, and my two grandsons. I love going for walks in the countryside, and I am an avid reader. I also enjoy doing all sorts of handwork and spend a great deal of time working in my garden.
Hi, I'm Stacey and I have been with Right at Home since January 2021.
I have done a number of roles in that time from CareGiver to Administration to Compliance and now I am the Deputy Manager.
I have worked in Care since 2010 and have a real passion for providing quality, person centred care to those that need it. Being able to provide someone with the help and support they need has always been the most rewarding thing for me and the reason I do what I do. Seeing the joy on the faces of our clients when they get to visit the Zoo or see the Pantomime drives me to provide a social aspect for them as well as provide the day to day care that they need.
I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and going on holidays/adventures with them. We love our camping trips!

My background is in early years child care management, managing multiple childcare settings. I have now moved into adult care and am thoroughly enjoying this new direction.
In my free time, I love to bake delicious treats for my family and friends. When I’m not busy baking, I like to take my dog paddleboarding with me around the rivers and lakes of the South West.

Hi, I am Peggy.
I have only worked in care for a year and a half after having come from a legal background. They say when one door closes, another opens. After I was furloughed and then made redundant, I decided to make a career change. It was the best decision I made. I didn’t have any experience in care but with the guidance and training of our team here at Right at Home I now have a thorough grasp of the world of care. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all our clients and working alongside our amazing carers. I still do some care calls and enjoy catching up with the people I have previously cared for.
I have a beautiful tabby cat who shares my life and I sometimes wonder who is in charge of our household!
I enjoy singing and belong to a local Acapella Chorus, called Waves of Harmony. When I am not busy singing with them, I enjoy reading, going for walks and meeting up with my friends.

I have worked in care for about 10 years in a variety of different aspects i.e. Care Homes as well as Home Care, in both Carer and Senior Carer roles. I loved the variety of Home Care and seeing different clients so came to Right at Home nearly 2 years ago.
I love Care Work: being able to help each client with whatever it may be. Previously I have worked with Right at Home in the role of Client Liaison Officer. I have now taken on a more staff-focused role, supporting with Training and Development and conducting spot checks in the homes of our clients, to ensure our care team is fully equipped to deliver really Outstanding care.

I have an extensive background working in the childcare sector for 13 years. I am passionate about caring for others and transferred across to the adult care sector in 2022.
I am vibrant and energetic often spending my time singing and participating in outdoor activities.
I am excited to have the opportunity to support our clients to live independently in their own homes.
I have worked in the Care industry for 16 years, working mostly in the community, but also have worked in a care home. I especially enjoyed working in the community, meeting new people, and giving help and support to help people remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
I came to Right at Home nearly two years ago. Right at Home gave me support and encouragement in finishing my NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and supported me with any training I was interested in undertaking.

My background is with a weight loss company and I love being out in the community meeting and engaging with people and supporting them in whatever way I can as well as running group events. In my spare time, I enjoy cold water swimming, and if not in the water I can often be found on the beach walking my dog. I also enjoy travelling and am a firm believer in always having the next holiday booked!

I’ve worked in care, mainly domiciliary, for nearly 20 years, starting as a care assistant and progressing through to my current role.
I enjoy the role I am in as I started my career as a Carer, so I understand how things work out in the community. These days, I also enjoy being able to multitask in and out of the office environment. Right at Home is a great employer with a good reputation. I value that we really put the Clients and Carers first. All of the team are very caring and welcoming.
I enjoy yoga, running and football in my spare time. I am a thrill seeker and love singing and dancing. Favourite TV shows: Strictly Come Dancing, Friends and Grey's.
