Good Oaks carers are very reliable, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I feel very comfortable with the carers, especially as I can be very very anxious, and this helped to put my mind at ease.
Comforting to realise someone will come which is important to me after just leaving the hospital. The carers are lovely and very approachable and always keen to do as asked. The care is excellent.
Thank you for your feedback, Good Oaks aim to ensure quality care at all times.
Excellent service and caring approach - very pleased so far. Whenever we have a query or request for a change to the level of care for Mum, Good Oaks respond very quickly and in a positive manner.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we always aim to ensure that we put our client's needs first, it has been a pleasure looking after Mum.
Very friendly management. Good communication. Mum has been pleased so far with the two carers that have visited her so far in her first week. They have been caring to Mum, treated her with respect and dignity and made her feel safe.
Thank you very much for your feedback, the company appreciates your positive feedback and will continue to deliver on these high standards.
Good Oaks were very prompt and proactive in finding a live-in carer for my father who has dementia. He can be quite difficult but the carer quickly established an excellent relationship and he is now thriving and very happy to have her as his carer. Good Oaks are always very quick to respond to any emails or queries that we have and I would certainly recommend them.
We are grateful that you took the time to leave us a review. Your feedback helps us to improve the service for everyone. Thank you so much for this review.
I am fully aware of what’s required when working in a home environment, it can be extremely challenging when caring for individuals, having cared for my uncle for seven years, I am particularly writing to express thanks regarding two members of staff, this is not in any way to reflect or offend any other member of the team, we are extremely impressed by every team member, clearly well trained and their manners, attitude are of the highest standard.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Good Oaks Home Care to anyone finding themselves in a similar situation to my family, they really do deliver and provide a fantastic service
Thank you.
The staff are very friendly and experienced. They are kind to my wife and are looking after our 4 bedroom house as well as our washing, ironing etc. They are also keen and willing to do extra jobs when required.
People are treated as individuals so the care package suits that person’s needs.
We are very pleased with the provider.
Carers are all well trained and friendly. Usually, they are punctual, only being affected by road conditions as I am on the edge of their area. I can recommend the company but cannot commit to value for money as I have no experience with another one.
The service user has regularly expressed her complete satisfaction to me with every aspect of the home care provided. The members of staff are always punctual, lucid, tidy, interesting to talk to and clear about the work they do and the care that they are able to give.
Can’t praise the staff enough.
Every visit throughout the day for preparing meals was always enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble.
The client throughout her palliative care was always treated with dignity.
The first registered manager did not complete a proper care assessment and did not complete the relevant or correct paperwork, so a care plan and risk assessments were not put in place before care started.
The second registered manager also did not complete a full care assessment or risk assessment.
My daughter's full care assessment was not completed until the 4th October.
Care started in July. The care staff nor management were not fully trained in how to use their own computerised care note system, so care notes were not put on their system accurately during July, August, and September.
This care agency was unable to provide consistent care for my daughter and created a huge amount of stress and then pulled out of the care package leaving no notice.
The Derby and Ashbourne office did not fulfill the standards set out on their website which led to great disappointment.
