Carer not arrived according to scheduled time in the morning. Rang on several occasions regarding the delay but no answer from the office. Eventually when response another carer was sent. Overall apart from this experience the company provide an excellent service.

We were pushed in to using Aroma Care by the Reablement team. Spent over three hours with the site manager, we were told the staff were able to cook a meal for the client, they were excellent cooks etc. this was a lie, were not honest about the rosters and staring times, very cunning, they take your business and then mislead the client. The staff use their mobile phones to write about the client without any consent, and when asked questions, the "so called manager", lost it with the client and asked the worker to leave the house in the middle of the shift. This is the kind and quality of staff and care providers the council endorses and promotes as care providers. Very poor quality of service, mislead, not upfront, and the staff we met were very badly trained, and unprofessional. I would NOT recommend them to any family as we witnessed first hand!!! within 4 days the deal was over, 2/10!!

Friendly, helpful, caring and professional carers. Always treat me with compassion and dignity. Very considerate and mindful both of my mental and physical health. Very adaptable and often go above and beyond when necessary. It is always a pleasure when my carer attends and they enrich and improve my day to day life. I would not be able to operate without their excellent care. The level of care is consistent and every carer that attends operates to the same high standards, regardless of whether they are my main carer or a covering carer. Administration are always polite and helpful. The office is easy to contact. Happy to alter visits when necessary to accommodate hospital visits etc. Would highly recommend this care company.

Our relationship with Aromacare has been quite successful. The care staff are responsive and well trained. It has been possible to create a good working relationship with each one. Issues have arisen, but it has been possible to come to an amicable agreement each time.

Out experience has been very good, the carers are caring, polite and well-mannered, encouraging and listen to me and take their time applying my creams. We had a problem at the beginning of the service but this was resolved as the carers are now staying the time and completing all tasks required.

Carers seem to only spend around 10 minutes with my uncle. He tells me he is out of bed and in the lounge, kitchen and bathroom by himself but his cleaner tells me the lounge is as it was the week before with dead dry cut flowers in a vase - something he would not allow if he had been in the lounge. Disappointed is an understatement, and it seems the Northampton office does not answer phones at the weekends!
We were left with no care for my husband, after doing his care myself for over two weeks, we finally found this care company, Aroma Care, after explaining things to the lovely lady at Aroma that we’d been left with no care, Aroma sorted out a care package for my husband and within a couple of days, we had care. It’s only been a couple of days and already we are over the moon with Aroma, they're on time, friendly, professional, compassionate, and so much more. Already my husband’s confidence is back, and he has a smile a mile wide, so thank you Aroma. You're our saviour, we look forward to the carers coming in, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Meet the Team (1)
I am currently the registered manager for the Northamptonshire branch. I have been with Aroma care for 3 years now and together we have met some wonderful people including staff, service users in the community and also other professionals. I am fully qualified in leadership and management to Level 5.
I am proud to say that my Northamptonshire branch is accredited in “The Gold standards end of life care” This has enabled us to build an end of life team which consists of fully qualified care workers so we can support any individual in choosing to die at home with dignity and outstanding care.
We are currently working towards being accredited in Autism training. We enjoy our users coming to our welfare room, we have craft days, music sessions, and interactive days - we try to have as much fun as possible and we are all involved. I am proud to work alongside all of my care staff who deliver all care with a smile on their face.
My main objective within my role is to ensure high quality of care and that our service users’ needs are being met to the highest standard alongside ensuring my care worker welfare is paramount.
